It's understanding that you say you will not let the pollution bother you and stop you from doing what you do, but having been a Health and Safety Officer, and completed a course on the effects of smoke and dust on the respiratory system, it's not about whether it bothers you, it's about the serious effects it has on your body. I am living in Chiang Mai and will be staying inside and even though Chiang Mai is nice when it is not smokey, once my lease is up I will be looking for accommodation further South. Having said that, I enjoy your videos, and all the best.

True. That's why on the 8th day, God invented planes and trains!! You see smoke? Hop on one of those bad boys and ESCAPE! Less than a hundred bucks and you are on the BEACH!

Nice location and building. I stayed there last year for 3 months and enjoyed my accommodations. The gym in lobby is an excellent gym and requires an inexpensive membership. Thanks for the video, Jon🙏🏻.

Nothing wrong showing us the surroundings first, it's a good way to introduce the visit. If people don't want to see, they can simply skip! Thanks for showing us so many places.

But damn the pollution was bad. Worse than I thought it could get.

I'm renting a studio in the building now, my unit is 46 square meters for 9K per month with a great mountain view. It's a nice enough building but it can get loud at night with the hotel next door and the Maya holding concerts occasionally.

You are right to show the walk up to the building, as it is critical to show the area leading up to the condo so people can get an idea of what their walk to/from the building will be, and what the surrounding neighborhood looks/sounds like. Location is critical in real estate, as is safety.
Seems like a lovely, convenient building, with nice balconies, and very classic decor on the inside. The view over that awful concrete area is more depressing than the actual pollution because although burning season will pass, that awful, abandoned concrete area will not. Love everything else about the apartment, though, and the pool courtyard was peaceful until that aircraft flew overhead.

Wow I never realized how many shops were downstairs in that building! Pretty cool thanks for the video. The pollution though is well beyond the beyond this year...I know we say that every year but really if in 5-10 years we are told we have lung cancer would we feel dumb for not having removed ourselves from such risk? 🤔

    Not bad tbh.
Do the older condos have better soundproofing or no not really?

Has to be relatively quiet 🙏

Not a bad price for Hillside 4. But I dont know how Hillside 3 is one of your "favourites"?!. Right under the flight path, but that is nothing compared to the "renovation season." Which, when I lived there briefly, was 5 months of the year. With something like 370 units, someone was always renovating and the noise was horrendous and every day. I moved out after a month of it, forfeiting my two month bond. I also lived in Hillside 4 on a short term basis, but found the overall building a bit gloomy - looks better in your video.

I looked at one of thewe apartments a while back. The space is great but it takes quite a while to get back and forward from the room. The biggest drawback I find with places like this and the Dome is that its all open in the corridors (as in one door slams and the sound reverberates across all the floors) as there is no partioning. The balcony is a big plus though.
