Very nice condo, and I love the fact that you are going to give it to your daughter. You are a good dad. When my dad passed away, he had two houses, our main home and another which he rented out. He left the entire house which he had rented out to just one sister of ours because she was the only one who avidly chased after the tenants to collect the rent. The main house, he left to the rest of us. Thanks for showing us your own condo
John I think riverside is a good option £40 US dollars you can buy a 46 square metre 1 bed it’s 2 mile from the city markets pharmacy shops everywhere around walking distance the river near you
I asked you some time ago about insurance and you said that you have it on this condo. Can you recommend an agent and/or company? How much is the yearly coverage?
Hi, could you pls share a bit about how to find qualified workers to do the reno job and buy the materials without being charged too much more than what the locals would pay?
Looks good. Right next to Kantary Hills. Kantary has serviced apartments but the rent starts at 40,000 per month. Also, Baiyoke Ciao rent starts at 24,000 per month.
@@JonInChiangMai Jon, three serious questions.. Does Hillside 3 charge a common area maintenance fee? Also, when you sign up a renter do you file the TM-30 yourself? Lastly, does the renter pay you the rent directly and then pay the electricity and water to the Hillside 3 office? I am looking at a unit at Hillside 4. Thanks.
John I want to buy one and put it in my daughters name there half Thai and have Thai ID cards 🪪 next year I am coming to chaing Mia and would love to meet you are the condos in hillside 2 30 square meters or bigger ?
In 2016 I purchased a condo in a small city in america called Las Vegas for $82,000us. It now 2024 and the value of my condo is $249,000us. My condo is 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath and one car garage. Full kitchen and living room on the first floor and the 3 bedrooms on the second floor. Also have a separate room for a washing machine and gas dryer. The entire interior floors and walls were looking brand new. When I purchased it. 😊
Congrats ….. will be moving back to Vegas in 2 yrs myself. Only scary part about Vegas homes is they can lose 50% in a downturn. The housing crisis back in 08-09’ a lot of people lost their asses!
@@sonhuynh8222 sorry, what happened in 2008. Has now been taken care with laws stopping the abuses. That private mortgages were doing. Homes on the marketplaces are in low supply. Which will take many years to keep up with home owners wanting to buy.
Just wait for a yr or two with western financial conditions on the rocky soil especially with real estate situations and currency shock and the whole world market will go with it.
@@BeeLutler Thats cute! On a serious note I am looking for a place directly from the owner with a month's deposit and government electricity. Let me know if it suits you and we can meet after march 10th. Need a place on a long term basis in town. Like you I also have a house buts out in Bantawai
If you don't have a smoke alarm, you should really add one.
Very nice indeed!. I'm glad they kept the marble bathroom countertop.
Hi Jon, thanks for the video.
Thanks Brian!
Nice condo. Super clean and spectacular views. 👌
Thanks :)
Nice Nowi if you could live there with permanent residency no 90 day reporting in like a criminal on parole and permanent visa that would make sense.
Congratz! Looks great!
Thanks :)

Criteria when i got mine was that the living area had natural daylight ( rather than the bedroom )
Great comments on investing in condos. Nimman (close to Maya/the One) still best location
Thanks Seb :)

Lovely condo John how much would hillside 2 cost how many square meters is this 45 ?
Beautiful renovation. The brown drop rug in the living room needs to go...doesn't match the decor, but other than that awesome condo!

@@JonInChiangMai Oh ok, thats cool :)) Are you Nordic originally?
You're looking very comfortable on your own sofa but remember the old saying - seats are not for feet 🤣
Do you have a clicker you use during your filming? It’s very noticeable. It’s you turning your camera back and forth. Annoying sound.

Around 38sqm, yeah hit me up on Instagram when you're here :)
