depends on the person and the attitude you have towards something. being a mechanic can be incredibly rewarding because you aren't just a cog in the machine doing one little job but you are really involved, have to always adapt and carry out procedures you may had to come up with yourself and sometimes work days or weeks on the same project and to then finally have the engine start or be able to drive the car perfectly again... if you are into mechanics and technical stuff that's one of the best payoffs I can imagine in a monotone job if that's what you want to call it.
It depends on your attitude, most people like to settle others like to keep learning and achieve new goals. Assembling a motor takes skill and knowledge others don't have, he is obviously on the right path. Don't be a jealous loser and try to shoot down his job.
I don't understand why he assembled the cylinder head on the block rather than putting all the valves, pushers, cams etc on the table then fit it to the block.
Considering that someone is likely going to try for 800hp with this lump, let's hope torque-to-spec was skipped by editing to make the artsy flow stay with the groovy music. Let's hope..
PLENTY of assembly lube.I don't know how many videos I've watched where I cringe because they don't use any assembly lube.a lot of details are left out though like recording or marking or finding the marks for position and direction of the main caps, pistons, rod caps etc. Put the number two rod cap on the number four rod and stick it all in the number one cylinder backwards with the main caps mixed up and this motor will probably not run more than a few minutes.position and direction of everything involved with the rotating assembly is crucial to building a motor that will run and last.
Makes you wonder after hundreds of these assemblies how close he is on the torque amount on bolts that he has put in and out hundreds of times with dozens of engines.
Excellent video. I'm glad you showed how each surface must be oiled first. Those other high performance shows assemble the engines dry. Totally fake and sends a bad message.
Do you see what is permissible to degrade the daughter of a symbolic palace and lower your gaze, may God give you peace, and watch the songs, it is forbidden, may God guide you
This video definitely show the level of engineering in china. You can check how the people in Benz AMG, BMW, Toyota, then you will know the difference.
The inline 6 is an amazing, high revving engine! Toyota's were excellent as well as BMW's! As I understand it, if you had a 3.0L V-6 and a 3.0L inline 6, the inline will make more torque, solely from the design differences. The main reason everyone started going to V style engines was to allow for an overall shorter vehicle and wheel base. Personally, I'll take a slightly longer vehicle and a simpler engine design.
@@Strange_Man1911 Yep. I used to have a 1982 Datsun 280ZX. 2.8L inline 6. LOVED that car! Simple engine, decent power (for it's time) plenty of torque, and a nice growl.

No. Just no. He buggered the big end bearings by scraping the Conrod ends on the crank surfaces when fitting the legs. And he buggered the crank bearing tolerances by lubing the outside of the shells.
1st gen toyota sequoia lover here. 2006 sequoia sr5 145k on it , 2004 sequoia 365k running still like a champ. if they dwere to totally die on me, i d still buy 1st gen sequoia again n again.

You got it,Mate.
When you do it for a living, you wonder why the internet and TH-cam are so fascinated by it.
I got hypnotized!!!
It 2JZ for Toyota Crown, because oil pan stay on center. I have Toyota Crown JZS145 with 2JZ. Its supper engine.

Wow
I thought you were supposed to put grease on the main bearings.
He poured that lube where it had nowt to do !
Yup. But if you're doing a shitty reassembly in the Philippines, like this one looks like, then grease is optional

2JZ motor?! No SH*T?!

But did it work 😂
Ни одной прокладке не поставил. Настоящие китайское качество. Ни какой гарантии. Говно.
Wow car mechanic simulator 2021 has really taught me alot I know every piece that was put on that engine
That was damn near a textbook example of how not to assemble an engine. That fvcker is going to explode within 20 hours of running.
I want to hear this beautiful engine sound after you rebuild.
Amazing video!!! I would love to see the names of the parts and the name of each step overlaid in text. This was very educational.
What do you mean amazing? He made at least two very rookie mistakes that I can count, maybe more!

It's awesome how engine builders know how to time an engine from scratch
Almost like there's timing marks on the parts.. 🤣

It may be a Japanese engine but it’s not a quality Japanese factory. No gloves, torque wrench and other gear. Definitely not Japan but China.

What about timing belt? He just put it there and that's all. No marker correspondance of the crankshaft and the camshafts was done)

The engine will not last very long. They treat it like an assembly plant/factory. Not done right!!!
so rubbing engine oil into the skin daily has health benefits,, I think not, with or without any barrier cream he may have applied beforehand
