TEACHING ARI TO LUNGE ~ Breaking in and training my homebred horse (Part 1)

- Hello all and welcome back to the channel!! So this is a bit of a throwback video, but I really wanted to have as much of Ari's breaking process documented as possible... So here we have it, teaching Ari to lunge for the very first time.
As I mention in the video, I would like to stress that this is not a 'How to teach a horse to lunge' video. This is simply what I am doing with this particular horse at this time. I would urge everyone to seek professional advice if you don't have experience working with young or green horses.
I hope you like this style of video but as always, if there is anything I've missed that you would like to see do let me know. I will try and get the long lining video out soon so I can start filming the next steps.

Love it how Ari doesn’t mind cameras, bridles and rollers but when he sees a cat he’s seen probably hundreds of times he thinks it’s worth a spook🤣

Is it just me or is every pony that Meg breeds so far is soooo beautiful, strong and talented ? I watched the vid where Meg was talking about Bear's future and seriously Meg , dont worry about what Foal Bear gives birth to. I am more than sure that it will be a beautiful, strong, amazing,talented and special pony. Like all your other ponies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Watching Ari go from birth to actual schooling is exhilarating!! To watch his progression from a gangly little homebred baby to a naughty teenager to a “baby pony” in training is a wonderful thing😁 I can not imagine what the future holds or where it will take him, but I’m thankful to be on this adventure with you Meg!
I love watching your vlogs when i get time, usually when im tired from work and have a spare hour to drink tea and watch pretty pony videos.. the only problem is its waaaaay too motivating for me and now im sulking with myself for not doing more with my own ponies, despite the fact that im only watching these videos when im too tired to do anything else. but no, my brain now wants me to go lunge my two idiot ponies..

Hi megan i got my horse not long ago she used to be my nans but ive been struggling to get yer to leave the other horses i was wondering if you had any recommendations. Cant wait for the series of training ari it will be great help as im gonna break her back into riding! Love your vids!
