You know how u said bear can only have electric drinker and u don’t really like it you can get in where u hang a bucket up instead of on the floor you can get special buckets and hooks x

with the flax seed you grind it in the coffee or grain grinder-for hooves hair to assimilate all the vits and minerals many need fat-there it is-my horses are draft cross-i could care if they gain off it-i feed a lot for bug rellent-their coats hooves assimilation -it is their essential fatty acid
I have my cob on the pure feed easy which is the green bag, he has EMS and I have seen a huge reduce in fat pockets on his crest and on his shoulder pads and he had a super shiny coat and had gained loads of muscle and isn’t too skinny either (a cob should never be skinny) he had a history of stomach ulcers and his stomach is clean he hadn’t had any ulcers since I have had him on it 10/10 deffo recommend thanks to Meg I found a feed that suits my horse incredibly well ❤️
Love your vlogs Meg. I don't have horses now. But I so enjoy seeing you & Hobbit love and care for your horses. As a former nurse I do worry for your backs carrying the water for your horses. Have you thought of a 'pull cart' to put the water buckets on, fill up and take to the stables. Just a thought I had ('elf & safety for your Vlogmas🙂 - apologies, I couldn't resist). Stay safe. It's so interesting to see the differences between how you keep horses in the UK vs how we do in Australia. It kinda blows my mind that you don't get chaff in separate bags!? It's all just in one bag! I'm with Hobbit, feeding my pownies is one of my absolute favourite things in the world and mixing the feed is part of it!
Hobbit is awesome just adore her !!! I love feeding the horses and I always give a treat when catching and taking them out to their field lol I have a bad back n bad hips too so I don’t sweep either if I can avoid it 😂 love this video!!! The treats on top of their hay is like a mint on their pillow lol are all the giveaways U.K. only
We have a good mix in Denmark, which i love because my old pony ar 22 cant eat anything but pellets because of his teeth 😐😐 if he gets anything with straw in it gets lodged in his teeth and becomes infected. But its so nice to have many options! I hope you guys soon will have it too! 😍😍😍

I have an idea for pure... What if you did a customized feed? Like you fill out a survey about horses then they can put together a feed that helps your horses/ponies? Is that a good idea? I live in the USA btw
Meggg nooo, you opened the pure feed bags wrong🙈🙈 that little piece of string that’s on the egde is for opening. Just pull that string and it opens the bag😅😅. This is no criticism but I figured it out last year and it’s so much easier, also you don’t have to look for scissors (which I can absolutely never find😂)
I had a pony in a city riding program who seems to magic herself into the old mare field. The program guys thought I was coming out to use her and just not paying attention to the fact that they were trying to rest that. In truth, she was the low man on the totem pole and liked to be by herself. They finally caught her at it. They would turn her out with the rest of the mares and she would then go to the one section of fence (3 board in that paddock) that was missing a half section of the middle board. She stuck her head through then would hunker down and get one leg through at a time. She was the only one small enough to fit through, Happy pony...no bossy mares here!
When you soak them you have to be very precise with the water, otherwise it loses all its soakability and wont soak up all the pee. So you have to much out the wetness way more. Whenever im starting up a new stable i usually do soak half of the pellets to put in the bottom to create a madras kind of thing, we dont have mats in our stable thats why and then the other half i just trhow in the pellets and then let pee and the horses expand them.
@@user8241 mine has never eaten them and they are hungry ponies 🤣 also I do prefer straw, but it's just so hard to mug out and my horse is an absolute pig with straw. 🤣 And mine is about 15 cm of hard pressed Madras and then it has a layer of 10 cm of loose fluffy top layer.
I absolutely love your videos! I wouldn't consider myself an equestrian but I have learned to ride and I've always wanted a pony. I live on a farm and thought it might be possible but so far my dreams have not come true. Your videos have taught me so much and always make me laugh, keep them coming!

My gelding stops to wee at the exact same spot everytime I take him back to his field, so Bear's not the only one!
He's gotta mark his territory. We all know dogs copied horses 😄

I don't understand why feeds like this aren't a thing in the states. It's so much harder here to get away from feeding so much pelleted feed/grain.

Slow feeder hay nets are my favourite method of dealing with greedy horses.
In other words meg couldn’t be bothered to clean it up 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️

You know the wood pellets you use how come you don't pre soak them so they expand in to a more sawdust like consistency
Meg made a whole vlog about the bedding they use for the ponies. Meg can somehow make even picking up poo interesting haha!😄

my pony slipped on the concrete in her stable tonight and i’ve felt so down incase she’s hurt herself bad 😔, your vlogs always help❤️
