    Hey, your video helped me a lot. Could you tell me how you mounted your follow focus underneath the lens? I have a problem ob it skipping gears, or even worse, it being to close to the camera because of small lenses... what parts do I need for that mount?

    • @BallysRealm
      @BallysRealm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoyed the video. I just used the stadard parts with the follow focus but had the motor come in from the bottom instead of the side. Have a look at the video and pause it on the screen where i show it. You can copy that way as well.

    When I put the plate that attaches to the camera it blocks the zoom ring very tightly so I can't rotate zoom. How to fix

    Hey, do you know how to use the record button via the joystick on the gimbal, but without charging the Sony A73? I only want to use the batteries power for the gimbal. Best

    • @BallysRealm
      @BallysRealm  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have an A73, but there may be an option somewhere in the camera menu to not charge from the USB socket (there is one in Panasonic cameras).
      As far as controlling the record from the gimbal, I think you have to set the camera brand in the gimbal settings to anything other than Sony for some reason!

    Hello Bally,
    Please what is the microphone support attached to your gimbal? I don't find it in your list.
    Great thanks.

    Thank you for the balancing video! I have an important question-do I need the imaging transmitter to use my cell phone as an attached monitor, like yours? 2. Is the zoom motor needed as well (I heard from one photographer that he never used the zoom motor after buying it)? I travel/shoot alone-no crew, and don't want to buy equipment I'll never use. Thanks for any help with these questions!

    • @BallysRealm
      @BallysRealm  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi,
      Yes you do need the image transmitter to view the image on your phone.
      You do not need the zoom motor, but it does come in handy if you want to use it to control either the zoom on a zoom lens or manual focus on your lens. I even saw that you can use the motor to control a variable ND filter.
      Glad you enjoyed the video.

    • @pf4773
      @pf4773 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BallysRealm Thanks for your reply. So, any monitor attached to the gimbal, including your phone, needs the image transmitter? I wonder if I can see the image on my camera screen on the A6600 so I wouldn't need a monitor-I've never shot with a gimbal so don't know how important it is to have a monitor.

    • @BallysRealm
      @BallysRealm  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pf4773 Only a phone needs the transmitter. You would connect any other monitor via an HDMI lead connected to the output of your camera as you would without a gimbal. You can see the image on the inbuilt screen of your camera but at certain angles, you may not see it. plus a monitor is usually bigger and brighter than your camera screen.
