    There is something really spiritual about early morning Tench fishing using the Lift method, with the mist rolling over the water. A couple of great Tench and a wonderful Video Mark.🎣🎣👌

    I’ve had that rod about 4 yrs now absolutely love it. I’ve had big carp on it whilst tench and perch fishing. If you’ve seen Matt Hayes vid where he had to catch two twenties in 24 hrs, he caught a 37.6Lb carp off the top on that rod. Anyway another great vid mark and well done.

    Some beautiful tench there mark. There used to be an absolute bucket load of tench in my local lake years ago up to double figures. Then all of a sudden some of them were getting caught with red spots on them. People don't even catch any nowadays. Think it might have been a disease but we never saw any bellied up. Strange.

    Love it. How much of the groundbait did you end up using? I always worry about overfeeding a spot on a lake when im fishing short sessions like this one.

    • @francolinobasco
      @francolinobasco  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! Right so although you see me with that tub of groundbait I certainly do not pile it in as if there is one thing i have found with tench over the years is that doing so can be the kiss of death as they then become preoccupied too much, so what I tend to do is feed some small golf ball balls in and taper it to match the bites then with what is left over at the end of the trip will either be taken home or used to prep.

    • @francolinobasco
      @francolinobasco  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EricPollarrd Quite simply put low stock density of carp. I have another lake i fish for tench and have only been smashed up once by a carp once again due to the lower stock populace of carp so the simple equation is if i am fishing for tench on a water that has a higher populace of tench than it does carp then chances of connecting with a carp will always be a lot lower. Most of the waters I choose to fish are lower stocked ones in general.
