I went over to ios with the SE3 for the following reasons: I use my phone for text and calls as well as listening to music. My old android was running out of memory and after 5 years was getting juddery . I did not need the aggravation of learning new gestures and it buttery smooth, with good battery life of 60 per cent by the end of the day. That are real word figures when taking calls, listening to music and checking social media. I went from having 16 gig of memory on my Nokia (and having to delete apps when essential apps would not download due to lack of memory) to having 104 gig left on the iPhone after loading apps and adding 400 songs on I tunes! It is a pocket rocket!
I've had my SE 2022 for almost a week now and it is amazing! It's much better on battery compared to the 2020 model and the A15 chip is super fast. I love the touch ID and I wish Apple would implement it in the newer models because that's my main reason for sticking with the old design. It just works so well it's perfect!

Great review! Nice to see one that doesn't say "I tested this for 4 hours" then proceeds to rag on it. I have this and I am the opposite end of the spectrum from a power user. I mainly text with the rare phone call. So this price point, camera, and form factor is perfect for someone like me.
I would hands down get an iPhone that was the size of the Mini or SE but with the 120 promotion screen from the pro's and a side mounted power button with touch id and type-c charging, that would be my ideal iPhone

i would have to agree with you, that would be the perfect balance of things i want in a phone as well. the battery life on something like that would be horrendous i believe. i've had the 2020 se for a while and the battery is starting to get in the way and be inconvenient. i could only imagine what that would be like with a crisper and faster and bigger display in still the same form factor
The SE will outlast all of those budget android devices (almost guaranteed), and have at least 5 years of software updates, for just 429 bucks (plus tax lol). If you want a phone that just works, and works well, this is the phone for those people. I don’t know why so many reviewers miss this point.

On my SE 2022 now and it’s good enough for me. I don’t take pictures and don’t do heavy gaming and I am comfortable with the home button as I came from an iPhone 7 Plus.
I used to have an iphone 6 and this iconic design is the most comfortable and compact experience ever.

If anyone buys this phone thinking the battery life and display should be on par with IPhone 13 pro , 13 and the max then you need to take a class or something on smartphones. Also why complain or compare a phone with another phone that isn’t in the same class. iPhone SE is for someone who knows what they are buying , everyone isn’t a heavy phone user are caught up on all the bells and whistles of a phone . There is, such a thing as basic users which this particular IPhone caters to . Bottom line it’s a IPhone built with quality and packing the same chip as the 1K IPhone max . Enough said lol

The display on the iPhone SE3 is still good. I compared it to several OLED displays while I was in the store and the Retina display was just as good as many of the low to mid priced range android OLED phones......I wonder if there are different levels of quality for the OLED displays?

I just got the iPhone SE (2022) & love it! I want to do more phone photography & videography. I’ve owned Android phones for years. Unfortunately, mobile phone lens manufacturers produce accessories & lenses mainly for iPhones. That’s why I switched to Apple. I can’t wait to start shooting pics / video with my Moment brand mobile phone lenses! These lenses enhance the capabilities of the built-in phone cameras.

Is the battery life that trash? I have minimal video consumption, occasional WhatsApp telegram Instagram, browsing, mobile payments. Will the battery atleast last till the evening ?
I bought it because of the home button Touch ID. On my new SE 3 it’s sometimes very difficult to move files, audio, video.

I use SE3 coming from Poco F3 & iPhone 6s .... I don't regret at all .... F3 had Super amoled display with 120hz and a Flagship SD 870 processor ....

I just traded my 12 Pro Max for a 2022 SE. I love the simplicity of the SE. I have an iPad Pro for media consumption. My phone is primarily for phone calls and picture taking on occasion.

It’s taking a lot for me not to go down to apple and get one! I’m even willing to get rid of the 12 pro max I have haha I miss that body style and home button. I don’t mind the thick bezels since I usually use my iPad Pro for viewing content on the regular anyways. So with the se I get a small form factor, rounded edges, & the home button. It’s a win win
About touch id: I had the hardest time navigating the phone until I found out you are only supposed to do a Short press. I was pressing for way too long!
Now I love the phone. Also, I was happy to find out I could use the keyboard fine, even with my clumsy, fat, short fingers.
If I’m at work at my desk or in my car, I always put my phone on the charger…I’m starting to think that I am the only person that does this.
Idk why but just compressing informations into small 4.7 inch screen feels smoother. You get all info within your eyesight instantly. Double that with one hand use it's a bless.
Great review. People always complain about the outdated design of the SE, but it crushes any $400-500 android in terms of performance and cameras. I love Touch ID. I’d even argue that the SE 2020 is an even better value now. I just got one yesterday at Cricket brand new. $175 with a plan and activation. If you can get a deal like that I believe you are much better off. Because you get all that iOS offers at a great price. And will still last well beyond any android except maybe Samsung or Google devices.

What does it crush exactly? It's measly battery? Definitely not that display. Just because it has a powerful chip, doesn't mean it crushes. The chip is there because Apple I've produced. The screen is outdated, the design is outdated, the battery is small, the camera has no flexibility, the charger is outdated. Outdated is an understatement

The LCD color gamut beats even some OLED panel.
I wish that I see three would have come out with a full screen but I prefer iPhone over Android any day business or not it just seems to be I don't know better or more secure the only thing I would miss with Android is the battery life but the performance of an iPhone is better I think

I currently own a Poco F5 but still I want to try an iPhone.. and SE 2022 specifically.. I want it as a contrast to Poco F5,.. with Poco I am tempted to play lots of games, watch lots of content.... Maybe with the SE I'll be able to control my Phone addiction.. and just use it the way it is supposed to be, a very pocketable phone.

The SE is good with the new chip but what really kills it is the battery life and the display which are one of the the main reasons for buying a smartphone, still can't ignore the cool touch ID tho ✨👌

I have the se 2022. I love the size of it and the Touch ID . I could have got the 13 mini but I don’t like the awkwardness of the buttons for Apple Pay , and turning off the phone . For me the se 2022 is great. I don’t mind the fact it’s a dated design . I only have small hands . If Apple don’t make any more small phones I don’t know what I’ll do. There’s no decent android phones in a small form factor
I would love to see an "iPhone SE Plus" based off of the old plus model iphones.

Funny no one has a problem when you take an old car and over haul it to soup it up and make it better under the hood so why not a phone people who still have an iPhone 8 7 or even a 6 wont be able to get 5g but want to keep there phones cause nothing is wrong with it are glad to see this phone I had the iPhone X and it was just ok but I can care less about gestures and extra cameras and people screaming and comparing this phone to what it’s not is ridiculous if the iPhone 13 is better for you then get it I got the SE 3 free so that’s huge cause I didn’t have to shell out anything but the tax so keep your high dollar phones this phone will last just as long specially when it’s in a good case and does everything I need it for

They could have made this phone with the body of the iPhone X or any other phone they've made without all the borders etc. BUT apple wants to make $ off their old design which is a smart biz move. Either way I just bought mines. Red and 128gb and this is bound to last me years. I looooooove touch id and I have honestly had it with Android. I'm finding it very inconsistent and one app will literally glitch out your phone until u figure it out. Bye Samsung. See ya in maybe 5 yrs? But I'm through with brand loyalty at this point. My needs for a phone are generally for social media, browsing, casting through Netflix and listening to music. I take pictures too. But gaming and streaming are just not that important to me anymore. I feel like the avg person is wayyyyyy too attached to their phone. Lol

The screen is still too small though, but I get the point - a device with an a15 chip for around 400-500 bucks is definitely a steal. Judging from this video, the SE reminds me of my iPhone 7, the struggles I had with it and how I hated the wide bezels. :) Going from a smaller screen to a bigger one was a nice change for me and I can't imagine going from the iPhone 13 Pro Max to the SE! LOL

Buy the Lightning to headphone jack adapter; it costs €10/$10. I have had mine for 3 years and it still works flawlessly. The adapter has been used a lot (5 out of 7 days each week).
@@DutchBulldog Is the volume low? Oneplus 6T had this usb-c-3,5mm adapter and the volume was painfully low even my ability to hear is more than good according to medical test.
A midrange android will not perform as it is in new condition after 2 years it will stuck on daily use

Apart from the touch i.d nostalgia, the phone is outdated and won't recommend it to anyone. You can get bloody good hardware for that price and apple is stuck using the design from an iphone 6. Terrible
This iPhone SE is for boomers who want home button and Touch ID, otherwise Apple would move on from this design.

For 440, you can get, 1080p OLED with high refresh, fast charging in the box, a large battery, a modern design and a great camera. Oh and a display that you can actually enjoy using. S.e Not even worth the box that's shipped in
this phone is more than enough for me, what i like about is small device u can carry around without the need to put it in a case and it does all daily work. this phone without any doubt beats all 6 camera today huge ugly phones

@@aninditabasak7694 face ID is cool but I don't always want to pick up my phone and look at it square on or like lean over to my bedside table to unlock it, when I can just reach over and tap the screen and scan my finger
