Wonderful review! I definitely believe that the iPhone SE (2022) is a great bargain. To be able to get that A15 processor at that $400 price point is amazing. This is a phone for people diving into the apple eco system or people who don't want to spend loads of money on a device. As a flagship 13 user I really think that SE users are getting a great deal. Smart choice for sure :). Great job! LOVE A NICE BUDGET PHONE :)
Nice Budget Phone! I upgraded to the 11 in January, and I have no regrets whatsoever. The performance is amazing (although I have only ever had crap android phones before this), its simple things like the camera on snapchat loading immediately. Keep up the good work, loving the content!
The SE’s in my opinion are amazing that apple provides them. They are very good phones and a apple phone being under $500 in unheard of now a days. Good review. 👍
I'm one of those people that like both iOS and Android and this is a really inexpensive way to be on iOS while also having 5G capabilities. My other budget phone is a Pixel 5a with 5G. Great video as always!
Had mine for a week. Upgraded from a 5 year old Nokia 3. Handy for those that don't want to pay 300 more for the 13 and fits in your pocket....comfortably!
This week I bought a customer return almost new iPhone SE 2020 for £229. It does a similarly good job as the iPhone SE 2022. I do not need 5G because it is unavailable in most of the places that I visit.
To me the only downfall of this phone is that Apple chose not to have night mode in the camera. The performance seems to be excellent, as well as the battery.
Wouldn’t agree on the ‘Xr design’ part. People who usually get the SE is because of its price and size. I personally have the Xr and it’s too heavy and bulky for me. Just don’t want the constant reminder that a phone might potentially pull my pants down in my pocket.
We complain now ”iPhone SE2022 is so tiny” no it really isn’t. WHO remember iPhone 3 g and iPhone 4/4s and ip 5/5s, first generation ip SE 2016? These phones are tiny. This was regular phone size in 2014-2018
Ngl, I was using my iPhone SE 1 as my primary device in 2023 for 7 months. With my requirement being social media, calling and browsing, I faced no problem at all. I downgraded from iPhone 13 is the point to be noted. I received more compliments holding the iPhone SE 1 than when I was using iPhone 13 From children to old people, everyone was fascinated to take a look at my phone.
I love my 5s! But, the ios restricts certain apps. I am forced therefore to get an se 3. Why? Well, it is the perfect size, it has the fingerprint "thingy" and I guess, the price is pretty reasonable. What I don't particularly like are the "rounded edges" and the lack of colour choice. Bring back small phones, fingerprint displays, square edges, and Space Grey (so elegant!) I have ordered the "midnight" it should be here any day now allowing for Bank Holidays. I would have gone for the new green 13 mini if it had had a fingerprint button, and a better price, but.....ce la vie.
I highly recommend this iPhone. It may not be "top tier" or has a "dated" design, and uses LCD instead of OLED. But all of these things are always overlooked. 1. Not top tier -- not everyone needs the gimmicks and not willing to spend over $1000 on a phone where they are not gonna use half of the features. The fact that the SE has a processor the same as the flagship iPhone 13 models is more than enough -- set aside the "compromises", it will perform just as well as the flagship counterparts. And, it will get software upgrades for the next 5-7 years. 2. Dated design -- yes it reuses the design of the older models, like iPhones 6, 7 and 8. But while holding the phone in landscape means I can hold it firmly without my hands blocking the screen -- thanks to the bessels. Secondly, the fact that the SE has a physical home button with touch ID to me is more faster than FaceID. Lastly, anyone upgrading from the iPhone 6, 7 or 8 after 5-7 years -- or no longer getting software upgrades, or repairs are too expensive -- this SE release is a great option because not only is it affordable to get, it also does not affect muscle memory and old accessories will still work with this new phone. 3. LCD -- having LCD on this phone is necessary because of the following: a) small form factor, means smaller battery. Even now that this 2022 model has 5G, that will use up more power. So other than having a little more battery for 5G, LCD can too contribute to longer battery life because it is not as vivid and high contrast with bright colors as OLED is. And OLED too is a contributing factor to draining battery fast. b) Because OLED panels are vivid and have a high contrast rate and brighter colors than LCD, OLED however can cause pulse width modulation (pwm), making users feel sick, have migraines and headaches. So having every phone out in the market using OLED is not catering to those that cannot use such screens.
I need to have Touch ID really. I wear safety glasses at work and mask or respirator at times and it makes Face ID a hassle for me. I’m still very happy with my iPhone 7 and it has a new battery. When I’m ready to upgrade I may be looking at getting the new SE.
My mum got this iPhone while I have the iPhone 13 pro. I personally feel iPhone 13 pro is better as the iPhone se 3 has an lcd screen which is too small in this day and age. The only thing I like is the bezels which in my opinion is better than a notch.

I love my iPhone 8 it’s still fast and I just had a new battery put in it but I will get one of these SE threes, even in two years and it will still be good for years
Work took my Samsung phones away and issued me with one of these. Tried it for 2 months but really couldn't get on with it. I found the battery life really poor. It's now back in the box and I bought a second hand Google pixel 5
I have a 15 pro but I’m going to get this because I think it’s great and small and cute and like retro. I’ll switch between the 2 phones every 6 months or just give one of them to a family member :)
One of the great things about this phone is that it makes you reduce your phone use. Because of smaller screen, you dont get addicted as you do with bigger newer model. A good thing if you want to reduce your time spend on phones.
How’s about going a bit further back. Technofiles don’t even want to talk about the iPhone 10 these days. Or the 10s/Max. The 8/Plus and the 10 are still fantastic devices for the majority of the people out there. And the truth of it all is most people who own a 7 or 7+ never use it to its capacity. For the majority of the people, a GinFoxi battery case would take care of the 7s shortcomings. I came from android and was shocked at how well iPhones worked on such small specs. Finally I bought a 7 just to see how well this old horse ran on two gigs of ram. What I found was the only thing wrong with the phone was battery longevity. Checking health I saw I was at low 80%, phone bought reconditioned. Had battery replaced and it was improved but still not great. The GinFoxi case was the cure. Back on track. My point is, many people don’t need what a 12, or even a 10 has to offer and can get by perfectly on a 7 or even older phone. Save money and give new purpose to an older device and keep it out of a landfill.
Nice Budget Phone! The SE is a great phone for people who don’t care about the fancy hardware and features. Personally, I’ll miss the larger OLED screen and ProMotion. Nice budget Phone! 🌟
Thank you 🙏
Great video! I recently picked up the last model for work. Bad timing though! :)
Would you be able to do a Tesla review for the increased costs of electricity - interested in that effect.
I have the 11 now but I’ll get the se 3 next month :3
Banger
haha cheers
It is worth buying because the phone is newer, especially newer than the other iphone se generations
Thanks for the review if somebody wanted an iPhone and they wanted to pay the least I would get the iPhone SE 2 as 5G kills batteries in this already has a small battery screen is the same the camera is the same the SC2 will get many many years of software support and you can get one much cheaper then the three
Great review! You mentioned iPhone 11 from 2019. If I buy it now (in 2022), can I use it without problems 4-5 years and receiving the latest IOS updates?
Yes you can 2015 is the last year of updates for the iPhone 11
What in SE 2022 shooting in 4k! My iPhone 13 mini can’t even do that. But I’m not a fan of home button anymore. I get confused when using my iPad. Wouldn’t be nice to have the SE as a backup phone.
The 13 mini can definitely shoot 4K, you need to tap where it says HD in the top right while on the camera app.
@@_ajf thanks for the tip. I’ll shoot videos in 4k 30fps from now on. 😁
@@memori365 no problem - just be aware that the file sizes will get very large very quickly meaning it can be a pain to send videos on some apps. You only really want to use 4K where quality is really important 👍
Nice budget phone!honestly i wouldve saved a lot more money buying this instead of a 12 pro which i only use for tiktok and instagram dont use it for hours and hours a day
We always overspend on tech we don’t need haha. Marketing at its best 😅
@@SpawnPoiint is the giveaway thing legit
Nope, that was a scam.
@@SpawnPoiint thanks man
iphone se 2022 or the samsung a53 (i know the a53 has a bigger/maybe better screen but what i care for is mostly futureproof )
Tough one. I guess it depends on the system you'd rather be with. Like I know the S22 range is awesome, but I prefer the iPhone 13 Pro as I use it with my Mac/Apple TV etc. What are you with now?
@@SpawnPoiint both a53 and se 2022 will last atleast 3 years without any lags ?
@@ΔημητρηςΣτ-ν8σ Honestly if a smooth experience is what you're after I'd say go for the SE. My previous experience with the Galaxy A range is that software on those phones is really lacking in comparison to the flagships, with the difference being much smaller with iOS devices.
“Nice budget phone. “
I’m happy with mine and I came from Android. (Pixel 5 actually )
Thanks for watching, great pickup too.
Nice budget phone 👌
Cheers for watching man, I appreciate it.
What a NICE BUDGET PHONE that’s sadly not the perfect fit for me but it looks very handy.
Thanks for watching though Samuel!
@@SpawnPoiint 🙏🏽 Thanks for your awesome videos.
I like it, but this day in age battery life is everything and that is why many of us will shell out the more money for a iPhone 13.
Nice budget phone!
Thank you 🙏
probably gonna buy this new year refurbished if its same as the 2020 now 160-200€
I was wondering if at some point you could take a look at the oculus quest 2 and compare it, and I know this sounds weird, but to your Tesla?
That's an odd one haha. I'll have a look
a lot more than the newer IPhone with out the home button
Is it worth upgrading from the 2020 SE. I have that and I’m curious if it’s worth an upgrade
Yes. I did it also. Battery is much better on the 2022.
NICE BUDGET PHONE!
Android 12 class includes pixel 6 but no s22 Samsung???
