To be fair even if Patrick is a nit, because of the lack of stack depth it would be a pretty suicidal river 3-bet bluff from anybody, not just a nit. There are very few players that would actually attempt that with something like the bare Ah. It's a good fold no doubt, but not that crazy by any means.
Rampage: "Well I've got the king high flush here, the 2nd nuts, and I'm never folding, so I put in the call AND......... get immediately shown the bad news. What an unfortunate runout." Luckily that was Mariano instead, and he made a great fold. You've got a lot to teach your boy!
Not sure its even a good fold tbh. I mean does dude jam lower flushes too after the turn check back. Also you have zero calls in this spot basicly if you fold 2nd nuts here. Solver prolly calls imo
I just gotta say, the clueless haters who lump Mariano and Rampage together as aggro luckboxes of similar skill need to watch that K high flush fold. I know they're good friends, but Mariano is on another level entirely.

34:00 That was clearly the shovel. Most players will get stupid against an action player and convince themselves their opponent is on a draw or bluffing and end up going broke when there was minimal money in the pot to begin with. Good fold.

Marino and Rampage have always had completely different play styles Marino is amazingly skill built up from small stakes very analytical Rampage is more reckless and loves to throw in some crazy bluffs but gets caught a lot of the time Marino has a lot more mystery behind his bluffs. Rampage is a better tournament player but Marino crushes cash games . Love your analysis and crazy skills bro well played as always! 🎉❤
Mariano... you played "flawless" poker(kinda)... the folds were better than the victory's!!! Thanx for sharing, bro. PS, I had a service call in Bermuda Dunes yesterday(5/7) pulled the bike out and hit the highway!!! *beautiful ride 2.5 hrs from Torrance. *Morongo lookin a little "dusty" these days 😬 (Guess it looks better with the "lights" off?) 🤷
Folding the second nuts (king high flush) is insane, especially since it was such a good price. I truly cant believe that, I dont think any other poker player in the world makes that fold
The secret truth about Poker: There will always be someone who cares less about money than you do. That last hand you would have called almost any amount any day.
