Hey guys, here are a few things that are coming up on the schedule for me that will be really cool events if you can make them, also a chance to a trip to India for the WPT Prime series out there:
Florida MUG @ Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL on April 19th as part of the WPT Main Tour - We'll be playing 2/5 NL starting at noon, but you may want to show up early if possible. I'll be back at Hard Rock April 28 - May 3 to play the $3500 WPT Main Event. Here's a link to the entire series: www.worldpokertour.com/event/main-tour-wpt-seminole-hard-rock-poker-showdown/?use-theme=wptgap
The Lodge Championship Series in Austin, TX - The entire series goes from April 26 - May 16. We're actually doing an official MUG with me, Andrew, and Doug on April 25th to kick things off. The MUG will be a special 1/2 NL game with buy-ins from $100-$500. I'll be in Austin before the series starts and for the beginning of it from April 20 - April 27, then I come back for the $3,000 Main Event that has a $2 Million GTD Prizepool May 10 - May 16. Here's a link to the whole series: thelodgepokerclub.com/lcs/
WPT Prime India Giveaway that I mentioned at the end of the video:

Keep grinding Brad! In a way, this sort of session gives more inspiration to less experienced players like myself, than the winning ones do. Anyone can post huge wins but it's hard to show your big losses. When players are going through a downswing ourselves, it's nice to know the players we look up to go through the same thing regardless of stakes. We know you're a great player and will get it all back plus more, that's where the inspiration comes from, thanks as always.

I think he's advancing too fast. I don't think, a youtube video like this makes 100k and I don't think his 20% stake in the lodge is raking in 1m+ a year. Boy is loosing 50-100k per session and if he keeos on playing on those limits, he's gonne be bankrupt in no time. I loved to see him advance in the cash game, but ever since he's playing in the lodge, he's done overdue. He will go broke and no youtube or lodge- or wpt revenue will save him from this. Even at 200/400 - you cannot lose 3 or sessions in a row. There's no coming back - even if you make a million or two on youtube.

You should have folded that AK on the flop against Taras. Pot was only laying you 3 to 1 and you need 4 to 1 or better for it to be pot odds. Also it's not wise to make these gambles with your entire stack. I would have only made that call if I was getting 4 to 1 and it was less than 50 percent of my stack.

My 23 year old son turned me on to you a couple years ago. Great watching I really enjoy it👍🏻
At the risk of getting berated by everyone on here I would like to ask you a few questions.
When you're editing your vlog I would think that you would have to regret some of your plays. Not because you lost of course but because you didn't need to take that big of a risk on some hands . Such as calling that much with AKs and no made hand. Yeah, I understand the back door flush, equity, and % of times you will win. It's easy to know that when editing but in the heat of play it's not sometimes. I was hoping you would've folded that AKs when I watched. I get street poker I've done it at $2,500 stakes.
Some people just have more money than brains though.
Anyway your head and shoulders a better player than I am. So my 2 cents here may be funny to you. You should never have 11 losing sessions in a row, ever. You're too good for that to happen young man.
I'm confident I'll see a run of winning sessions soon by you 👍🏻

It's a horrible feeling when you're on a bad run. I know I've been playing for years. Keep ya head up, bud. I wasn't expecting that ending, but stay optimistic n Remember pace yourself it's easy to get really excited when you had a great run prior, but after that, take time n meditatate savor that feeling. B4 u get back on the tables

    This Guy!
    Brad Owen - YOU’RE ADDICTIVE
    So likeable and good.
Patches baby… upswings come with some downs. Sometimes a little too tight, but you aren’t playing bad.
Would love to play in stakes like this.

Note, this is coming from a 1/3 player. IMO, Hook is raising this much on the river with a seemingly insane story because of the stakes. He *KNOWS* that much money will make you blink, unless you have the absolute nuts.

Keep your head up Brad. You know the game and the good streaks flow as often as the bad. Stay your course, trust your strategies, and you will be back on the rise.
