- We search all across NY and PA to find the best places to camp, and in this episode we are in the 1000 Islands of NY camping at Wellesly Island State Park. Come check out the heart of the 1000 Islands, see the castles, check out the wineries, and eat some Lobster with us and our friends Zach & Jessica from Market Seafood.
We also get to see Kevin's face as he drives the camper over a bridge tall enough for barges to pass under. Kevin hates bridges. We break the video into chapters so be sure to skip to the part that interests you.

I stumbled on to your video of Wellsely Isl SP., really enjoyed it as it brought back many family memories. My parents would take the family there every Labor Day for camping and fishing. That was back in the early to late 1960s, then back in the early 1980s I took my family there. I really need to get back up there one time soon. Love that area so much! I am from Plattsburgh, NY and now live in the Hudson Valley area since the 1960s.
What a wonderful compliment to hear this brought back fond family memories! We have friends that live in Hudson Falls and Argyle. We meet them several times in the summer around halfway. Last summer we took a drive to meet them at Ausable Point! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

You didn’t meet any Semi trucks on the bridge. That bridge and interstate 81 are a main route for trucks between US and Canada
