As a Christian you would think I would have peace about dying, but I've been afraid of death since I was a child. I'm hoping by watching some Christian videos on death I'll find some kind of peace on it..
Now im a christian with a HEALTHY fear of death! Yeah, that's it! It's not a sinful fear, it's a healthy cautious fear, cause I gotta make sure im a christian before I die, and my soul gets ripPEd from mah body! Ahhh! Lol 😁
I completely understand it’s hard to wrap our heads around, it’s hard to think about what comes after. I used to fear death and what comes after, if it’s nothing if I become a ghost to wander the earth for eternity, am I going to hell or heaven? But I have strengthened my love and faith in god and to imagine eternity with him is just so calming, and makes me believe and hope I will be with him when my time comes. Of course there is always a part of me that says what if it’s something different but I believe that’s the devil playing mind games with me saying that there is no heaven when I know well enough in my heart and in my soul there is heaven and there is god waiting for his children to return to him.

I fear death the same as anyone else. But at times I think to myself. Do I remember not being born? Did i feel trapped, stuck or alone? No. I didnt experience anything. It wasn't awful or good. It was simply nothing. We didn't know we weren't alive.. sometimes that helps me be at peace about it..we will be reborn again!! We can't die. Only the body were using.

I want to share that i've been a long time hypochondriac worried about getting sick, dying etc since i was young. I guess i enjoy living in general on earth. But when i came closer to GOD recently, ive realized that there is much better and more than this earth. It took me a while to come to realize that GOD is real. And by logic and common sense i realized the true creator of our universe and much more is God.
I did not think there was other people like me about worrying about death. Yes I do believe in God. I am just so scared that I will just die right there. I know we don't know our time. It is just scary. If anyone might know a book about death in the bible please share. Because I don't want to fear, I just want to feel relived that I will see my God

I mean everyone will be going to hell cause all of us is sinners, but God loves us so he send his Son, Jesus that who shall ever believe in him shall not be perish but have eternal life, So don't think God don't want you anymore he won't sent his son for us, if he don't love us. If you choose not to sin you don't know you're sinning but if you choose to sin you know your sinning (i dont know if you get my point sorry can explain properly😅😅) You think you're going to hell(which same here) it's just mean we're both doubting and don't have enough faith (we need to change this to have faith as long there's a time) And trust Jesus with no doubt. I don't face death theoretically, as in 'we all die'. I have an illness that will likely lead to an early death. Maybe in 2-10 years. I will leave a family, and if my timing is later rather than sooner, my children as young adults. I trust that our Lord will guide and keep them. That's one concern. The other is the daunting reality of coming into the unalloyed presence of God! Scary (in a good way). God is no trick pony, no sideshow, no cute doll on the sill. He is the almighty everlasting creator. I have silly thoughts: what will it be like, what will I experience, what will I say and do. Will it be cold (chemotherapy makes me feel very cold)? Will I be lonely? A friend in a similar circumstance likens the feeling to the anticipation of a roller coaster ride: a thrill-fear of a great impending unknown...then there's the horror of death itself for all affected. As the scriptures teach: it is the enemy, it is a deprecation of the 'very good' creation and life itself. For we Christians, it is the threshold of eternal fellowship and joy in the presence of God. But this is so gobsmackingly more than we can think or imagine...it is daunting. What I hold on to? The resurrection of our Lord: he triumphed over death and has given us new life.

I’ve always been concerned for my brothers and sisters in Christ who fear death. Jesus has defeated death…he tells us over and over again and, “I’ve prepared a place for you”…he comforts us constantly in His Word, and you still fear? That’s definitely not an indication of salvation. We should trust what He tells us and WANT to be with the Lord! ( yes we have a strong will to live, but we should be joyful about our new home, not fear it )
It's easier to say than it is done. The fear we experience is normal considering that we are living in the flesh. The thought of death is terrifying to some, including me. Yet, it doesn't mean we should hold on to these fear but the believers should trust in the promise of the Lord Jesus Christ. Which is eternal life to those who believes in Him.
God is love. I hope he doesn’t punish people for getting their theology wrong but judges them on how they loved and treated other people. How did you treat your enemies? How did you treat people who took advantage of you? It easy to only treat people good who treat you good. The king of the universe treats all people with love, compassion, and mercy.
