I just spent 2 weeks in the psych ward after planning suicide. My Pastor took me to the hospital and had me admitted. My life was saved that day and my faith in Jesus has been renewed. I will be getting baptized on Saturday. The enemy had me in his grip for a long time and I fight this battle daily but with Gods help I make it through each day. I want to be in God's presence but ONLY when He brings me there.
My son in law passed away 2.5 years ago. He was an Army veteran and fought in Afghanistan. He had a ptsd breakdown. He was hearing voices and thinking people were after him. He even went to the VA hospitals and signed his self in to get help. He was home for 2 wks before he went missing on a friday. He was found on Sunday but it was to late. I now help raise my grandson's. I really needed to hear this.
I myself am a 55 yr old vet with ptrd, I've been battling with my demons horribly the last three weeks and I can see how someone can think it might be a way out but I can't be! I have to believe if you kill yourself for ANY reason you are hell bound. Unless you do it to save someone else's life. I can't fathom ruining my shot at heaven, I just couldn't do it. Joe

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss…. My brother also served in Afghanistan, many years ago, and came home with severe PTSD and just last year was diagnosed with schizophrenia.. it’s been heartbreaking to watch him go through that… I pray, In Jesus name, that you and your family will feel the compassion of the Holy Spirit and will be surrounded by endless support and compassion as you grieve. I can’t imagine the pain you must be feeling, but I pray that you will feel the Peace of His presence as the Lord carries you in His loving arms.
I don’t share this a lot but I’m thirteen. When I was around 10 I had these really bad suicidal thoughts and tried to hang myself a couple times. Eventually the school found out and called my parents and apparently they were going to send me to a mental hospital without telling me and my parents had to literally beg the school not to. I became more in touch with God after that, and I went into therapy. I’m happy to say, that I only have mild anxiety and ADHD, but I am enjoying life and am happy with myself!! :3

I am diagnosed with Anxiety and depression. It’s really severe and I get help now. I got closer to god! I’m blessed. I did try to commit and cut scars. But thankfully I stopped and somtimes I have suicidal thoughts when I fight them. Pray for me ✝️ I’m in recovery. Thank you and god bless
My aunt committed suicide in 2020, I heard she had hung herself by her neck in my dad’s shop with my uncle walking in on her dead body tied to the ceiling, it made me devastated. Rest in peace Aunt Sarah ✝️🕊️ May God hold you in his kingdom safe and sound no longer sick.

I tell you brother I like a lot of the messages that your brain but you are so wrong on so many points here. There are numerous scriptures that talk about losing your ability to be saved. Very clearly the Apostle Paul says we are being saved, not that we are saved no matter what as you claim. Jesus talks about bearing fruit or being cut off the vine and being burned in the internal fire. The Apostle Paul said I run the race with endurance lest after preaching others I myself in disqualified. He also talks about being enlightened and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit and then going back to your life of sin and they're no longer remains a sacrifice for your sin but rather a terrifying expectation of judgment. The message that says you are saved no matter what is the most dangerous preaching in the church today.

Im not Christian but followers like this are why I have so much love for Christian people. I was skeptical at first, but really had respect for this message toward the end. This person reached out with love and understanding.

you should join the Christian community then! it's filled with people who are friendly and loving and are devoted to serve and honour God (but don't be deceived by those who put on an act just for show, you'd regret being around them). we'd be really happy if you become a Christian but don't feel pressured to become one :)
I find that many who say they aren’t Christian are some of the most nicest people with hard core morals, and I just think if they were a Christian they would be a strong one 💪 I pray that He reveals Himself in time because His timing is perfect

I had a Catholic friend who tried to commit suicide. Unfortunately he succeeded, and as the video states, it left immense grief. For the longest time, I was extremely worried where he would end up. This video helped ease my worries, but also a request for those who read this: please pray for his salvation in the face of his suicide.
Several years ago, I struggled with a horrible anxiety. I did “everything”, but every day the anxiety was getting worst and worst. I prayed and prayed to Jesus and God to heal me, but I was feeling they weren’t listening to me. In the end they were always there. I’m here today, because they healed me…they never let go of my hand.

I saved a loved one’s life when they attempted suicide. They had a terminal illness and were a person of great faith. It was the only time I ever saw an angel. I had stabilized her (I had advanced first aid training) and I was waiting for paramedics and I saw a beautiful angel sitting with us. I felt a deep sense of calm. I asked the angel if they were there for her and the angel said, “I’m here for both of you.” Praise Jesus for a gospel of grace. I believe that suicide is forgiven, as it is the depths of pain and sorrow, something only Christ can truly empathize with. Thank you for this video.

Personally, no matter how depressed I am or how many suicidal thoughts I have, I would never attempt to end my life again and risk spending eternity in hell. Where you will be spending eternity is important, and it is something you can't undo once it happens, so please don't risk spending it in hell and instead continue to live for Jesus because you're alive right now for a good reason and God loves you!!

My cousin recently passed away last week from suicide she suffered from bipolar depression. it was really heartbreaking to me and hurt my heart very badly and it was a big shock to not only me but my family as well. My best friend on ten years died by his own hand. I don’t know how religious he was, but he taught me many things. He’s one of the reasons I regained my faith. However his mother hated him, blamed him for everything and he wanted her attention and love. His sister tried to kill herself years prior, but failed and she was showered in love. I think he tried to do the same and went too far. I light a candle or turn on one of those candle lights in his memory every Saturday I go to church. He saved my life and even though he took his own, I hope god acknowledges all that we did for each other. I hope that counts for something. I hope he’s there when it’s my time to come home. But forcing someone to live a life they never asked for or want to be in is a bit cruel. During my worst thoughts, and during actual serious consideration and planning to commit suicide, I found Jesus. He put little signs in my life, telling me to look for Him, to start having hope. I wanted to cry when I figured out how much Jesus knows about my suffering and everyone else's. I now feel so much closer to Him, to the point where hearing or even thinking His name feels so much more impactful and brings grace back into my heart. I fight battles and repent against sin in the name of Jesus.

As a believer, I have fought almost daily against suicidal thoughts for 40+ years. I never questioned that God's grace was enough if I made that final decision. I am thankful that I haven't made that decision yet, but tomorrow is another day.
I lost a friend in highschool to suicide 😢. After seeing all the people at his funeral I was saddened that he didn't realize how many people loved him and will miss him. But I believe he's in heaven, because he saved me. I just thought about how many people my death would affect,and it made me stop. His death was ~35 years ago and I still remember everything about the day we learned about his passing. Now since I've become a reborn Christian if I feel darkness attacking me I call out to our Lord Jesus Christ and ask him to dispell the darkness and shield my mind so it won't return.

A man can not unknowingly comment suicide but if that man has any knowledge of God, even through reading one scripture of God he has gained at least a little bit of knowledge once he understands what he read but with a 1% chance of forgiveness and mercy of God that man will rest through Jesus Christ and a man with no knowledge of God commits suicide... that man has a higher chance of being forgiven but I highly believe that God will show himself to a man with no knowledge of God. I’ve been a Christian my whole life, saved and baptized… but have endured a series of traumatic events all through out my life (I’m 27) that had weighed so heavily on me that I felt extreme hopelessness and made several attempts on my life and developed an addiction to SH.. by the Grace of God I am still here.. 2 years ago I joined a faith-based recovery program and God really worked on my heart. It’s been nearly a year and a half since I last gave in to SH and longer since my last attempt… I may have scars covering my body, but I know God has a greater plan for me and I can use my story as a testimony of God’s Grace and love and kindness and compassion.

@@19and23areCode It’s a little difficult to understand exactly your point of view through a comment with just text, but I think what you’re saying is basically what I meant, that we are not supposed to continue in sin. People make mistakes but willingly living in sin is different then messing up once in a while. That also doesn’t mean to use “messing up once in a while” as an excuse to sin. Hebrews 10:23 says “if we continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins” and yeah 1 John 3 says similar things as well. Ephesians 2:8-9 says we are not saved by our own works but by grace through faith, we did not receive salvation through our works, it was a gift, but it’s also out of respect and obedience that we continue to not sin, because God hates sin and can’t be around it. If we did continue to live in sin, we’d be doing an injustice to the one that endured so much for us (Jesus). Imagine going through so much only for us to continue to live in sin. Besides that, if we are truly Christians, aka literally followers of Christ, we will try to be more Christ like every day (and the Holy Spirit will help us with that) while also not being perfect, if we were perfect, we wouldn’t have needed Jesus.

Extend your life by eating healthy, exercising, and getting plenty of sleep! Be a role model for those around you and encourage them to embrace the gift of life as well!
The idea that suicidals go straight to hell is literally one of the major factors that kept me away from God and from my faith for many years. It’s disgusting. People commit suicide for a whole range of reasons, but more often than not it’s because of the monstrous actions of other people, and those said monsters wearing human skin will in all likelihood show up to the funeral pretending to be grieving knowing full well that they purposefully caused it. If anyone deserves to be thrown into the pits of hell, it’s the people who drive others into suicide, not (more often than not) poor innocent people whose lives are so miserable and scary that they feared it more than they feared dying!

Very well presented video, thank you. I am almost 64, and started feeling depressed at age 8, and suicidal by age 11. I was undiagnosed until age 31, and have been on and off prozac and other meds for 25+ years. I have been a born again Christian since I was 31 also. I still get attacked every 2-3 years by thoughts of suicide, but have become better and getting help when it hits and starting to fight back by prayer to God to stop the thoughts and attacks. It isn't easy, but I am still here and loving my life!

Praise God. I have been suicidal before. I told God to let me just die when I was 20. At work a piece of sharp steel went right thru my left calf. The artery was cut in two. I almost bled out. After that, I didn't want to die.
Jesus saved me when i was at my lowest point. The demons were fighting so hard for my soul not to end up in heaven and I'd think about suicide every day, but God was with me and i eventually found him which im so grateful for 😢❤
This is so good to know. About eight years ago my brother committed suicide. He was such a good man a loving man a loving father a good husband. However he was going through a lot very private so didn't discuss it with anyone. It was a shock to us when we found out what he did. I watched this testimony from TH-cam before, the lady shared her son having mental illness too and chose to suicide and they are Christian, the mother was so upset but God gave her a vision to show her that her son is with God, i think suicide due to mental illness was something exceptional? Well, only God will know what happened to a person what he/she is facing...... , if you are willing, continue to pray for your brother's soul, may God have mercy....❤

Lost my Brother to suicide August 25th, 2022. My Brother loved Jesus, so when my nephews ask if he's with Jesus, I answer yes. Doesn't make this not difficult to hold onto and trust in, through the damage it's left behind. If you're thinking about it, just know it's going to cause unbearable pain to those of us still here. Fight for your life, lest you pass your pain onto those you love and love you. It's more wirth it to struggle than to leave that with someone else. Jesus loves all of us, keep the faith.
I had a friend who intentionally overdosed on drugs. She was depressed after her infant son 's tragic death a year earlier. She did accept Jesus about a month before her death. She seemed ti getting better after her salvation, so her death shocked all of us. Before this, I had always believed that suicide was a one way ticket to Hell and even told her that. However, on the day if her official passing I had a vision and was caught up to Heaven. I saw her in Heaven and she was holding her infant son in her arms. She said, "Don't be sad for me, be happy for me, because I'm happy." She then said to me, "Thank you for always being there for me and thank you for never giving up on me." I said to her, "When I'm ready to come home, you and Gage (her infant son) better be there ready to greet me!" She leaned in closer and said, "I will". Her parting words to me were, "Help Steven." (the father of their other 3 children). Then the vision ended.
Infants don’t exist in Heaven. What purpose is an infant in heaven? A helpless baby that does not grow? That seems unfair, doesn’t it? It’s selfish thinking that a mother who lost their small child will see that person again as a small child. Selfish because the parent wants that child the same human size they had on earth. That’s not fair for the soul that is that child, to have a helpless eternal body.

The person had previously believed suicide was an instant ticket to hell and if someone close to someone with this mindset committed suicide they would be immensely distraught. My friend suffered schizophrenia and depression after a prolong period of stress, lack of sleep, along with an unhealthy diet high in sugar. Now she has managed the condition very well after seeing a physiatrist, exercise, get healthy diet with good fats and proteins. Above all, God came to her rescue, surrounded her with many good Christians to give her support. Previously a nonbeliever, now she has come out of darkness, is full of faith, strength and vigour for life. In Christ, we are a new creation. don’t give up. Praise and glory be to God.❤🙏🏻👍🏻😊

The context of this passage is about not building your beliefs and theology around human leaders and specific teachers. I personally would find an interpretation around "destroying the temple" as destroying the gospel focus of my life by over emphasizing a specific leader, not as suicide.
I struggled with depression and had suicidal thoughts, i actually believed that if i’m gone everyone who knew me would either be happy i’m gone or wouldn’t care. I talked to school counselors, i even told friends, other than the counselors the friends i told how i was feeling they said they don’t believe me, until it gets to the point where i actually take my own life they’ll believe me, I prayed every night so God can remove my depression and fill my mind with joy, now i’m free from depression, I wouldn’t say I’m really happy but I’m no longer upset 24/7 and the depression is gone so I thank God for that.
Never stop praying...just like how God has saved me and gave me a new strong mind....you can be strong too but you also need to know that there are demons behind every depressions pulling the strings....renounce the devil and resist him n he will flee from you... Stay in constant prayer....may God give you peace,love and strength in Jesus mighty Name🙏

This year has been extremely hard for me. I had never struggled with my mental health like I have this year, it was terrifying that I felt I was not in control. I knew I wanted to live a life by God’s word but I felt attacked and in a deep hole. The only reason I am still here is because I told God that I needed His help or I would perish, and then I kind of let go. I pray for everyone out there struggling with these issues, I hope that soon we can all be okay
Life doesn't necessarily get better but He is the deliverer. It was a demonic spirit urging me to suicide several times over the years. I cried out to God and he answered. Ive lost my trucking Job due to overwhelming anxiety and stress after five years. Ive struggled with finances and my mental being. I felt really deatached from reality because i would get frequent panic attacks. I would pray to God most of the time to motivate me and make me stronger. Here i am 7 months from now i do feel better and i am able to work again. God is my savior. I love him because he was there when noone was there.

My son committed suicide. His diagnosis from Stanford Hospital was schizo-affective disorder, which means that he would drift into schizophrenia frequently. At the end, he heard them all the time. Ten months after his death I heard him say ‘Mom’ telepathically. No message. Just ‘Mom’. I made a note on my calendar. Some time elapsed before I realized that that was the date of my father’s 105th birthday. Shortly before he died, he told me that he really missed ‘grandaddy’ - my father. I am so looking forward to joining him and the rest of my family when it’s my time. But not before my time.
One of Jesus's famous parables of Lazarus and the rich man in it he talks about how there is a chasm between heaven and this world and that the dead cannot cross back over (found in Luke chapter sixteen verse twenty six). That’s why it’s hard for me to believe a true believer would ever commit suicide. I would have at one point in my life if I had not had the true Source of strength to turn to each day until the worst of my trauma had passed. And it took years. We have someone we can turn to and not give the devil satisfaction. Saturate your day with scripture, prayer and praise music. I put encouraging scripture on sticky notes all over my apartment, everywhere I looked. It was plastered. I wrote out my pain to the Lord in a notebook and cried out to him to take my pain away and help me. I had worship songs playing to help me focus on God. Focus is so important.
You know, despite not even knowing as much about scripture back when my father lost his life to the enemy, I still believed he went to heaven and that alone was enough to change me and dig even deeper into my faith and how I can bring awareness to such a thing to other people.
I have a very close friend that I met online in 2021 and she sometimes told me that she has suicidal thoughts because she has some family problems. At that time, I was scared because I don't want to lose her so I tried to asked her to changed her mind because God has a purpose for her. Then after many years, I thank the Lord that she's still doing okay until now. I always told her to keep moving forward and don't lose hope because God will always guide her everyday. We've been online friends for almost three years and we promised that we will going to meet each other in real life in the future. I pray to God that she's doing okay. They're tired 😢and they chose that as away to rest from their families. I think they also want to take revenge on those toxic/controlling/ abusive families and/or whoever they deal with. This story has the best ending and a beautiful beginning. All my life, I've gone through physical and mental torture from my parents and all of the stepmoms I've had. On my 18th birthday, my father and his at the time wife had taken me to their church for marriage counseling. There was a girl 1 year younger than me who was fond of me. She followed me around wherever I went around the church. I never asked her to. My stepbitch ended up telling the whole church that I had pedophilic feelings towards her. This is the day I became an adult. My dad didn't even try to help, so I moved to New York to live with my mother. Even there, I still had nobody to turn to for help with bullies, abuse, etc. After 5 months of surviving, I found myself at the ledge of a bridge with a 120-foot drop into shallow waters at midnight. I saw a set of headlights approaching and started slowly leaning forward. I heard the opening of a car door and not even a second after that I was yanked back onto the bridge by my teary-eyed father whom I thought was still in Missouri. 3 years later, I'm happily married, with a son on the way.. 'Niko Alan Wolfe.' Take it from me. You have so much to live for!
Wow if that's true thats an incredible story. God saved your life that night, without any doubt. That was the heavenly Father who knew you would be there that night, and arranged for your own dad to be there too. Think of the pre-planning that went into that miracle from God. He had to set so many things in motion, far in advance, to make that happen for you. Jesus truly is a wonderful King and all-powerful Savior... this story shows me just how much Jesus loves you. He even went further than this for you. He gave his life to forgive your sins. He rose to give you the hope of eternal life, if you put your faith in him. I think he's earned your faith. ❤✝️

@@Nothingbutdust_ I was always pretty sensitive. I have a really low self image and I take rejection hard. Over the years I've been through so many rejections, insults, exiles, abandonments, etc that I find it extremely hard to even approach living in a community, or becoming part of a church family. I just cannot get myself to go back in again. I can't meet new people or make friends, at least in person. God is telling me that church and family are good things. I just can't do it. Maybe you can relate to some part of that too.

Suicide is a sin. Anything that separates you from the love of God is a sin, this being suicide because you chose not to trust in God and didn't believe in him,therefore being separated from his grace. Yes, we are sinners and that's why asking for God's mercy is important. If you tell me that just by faith alone we are guaranteed to go to heaven,you are sadly mistaken. Faith without action is dead.As believers we first believe in Christ along side repentance and pledging our lives to God,where we are called to live in righteousness.Everyday we are alive this opportunity remains as we can work towards our salvation in him. If you die not only do you sin against the temple of the holy spirit,but in doing so cut off the grace that was given to you,it being life.The dead cannot repent.I would like to give an example. There once were two men who were loyal ministers of God.They loved God immensely and strived to preach the Gospel to whoever hadn't received it. One day while still in the ministry,they were captured by people who didn't believe in God and were threatened with their lives.They were asked to deny God or face death and were told that if they denied God,they would not die.One of them refused but praised God even more,ultimately,being killed.The other being fearful, asked if they would let him go if he denied God.The people promised to do so,and so he did.He denied God but was killed immediately after.One went to heaven and the other hell. This comes to show,you might live in holiness your entire life but end up in hell because of what you did before death.The same as a sinner repenting and giving their lives to God before death. Walk in accordance to what the holy spirit says and you will live a life pleasing to God. The holy spirit comforts,guides and convicts remember that and trust in him. Praise be to God.Amen. 🙏
I was not looking for a video about this topic. It just showed up. I very recently know someone that committed suicide, the person accepted Christ but was battling drug use. I believe he fall to the addiction one last time and in the end did what he did. This video is helping me to process it all. Thank you and thank God for showing/leading me to this video.

It always bothered me when Christians would flat out condemn someone, a person who was mentally hurting, suffering, and not getting the help they needed, to hell based on their suicide. I think Catholics tend to make condemnation by a person their belief system. I always felt that my God was not quite so black and white. He knows our minds, hearts, and souls. I had been struggling with anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, and I have never struggled with my mental health like I have the past few months, I had thoughts of loneliness, depression, or being a failure in life. But one day my friend invited me to go to church with him and I agreed. When I went there, something in the atmosphere felt different. Everyone was nice, my friends were there, people were talking and laughing, there was no sign of pain or suffering. We had a pastor, and one thing he said stuck out to me the most. “The air you’re breathing is a gift, Your eyesight is a gift, and your life is a gift” it gave me a new perspective on life. I realized, hating life is not something to hate, because everyday is a blessing. To live is a blessing. To laugh is a blessing. And the thing is, if you really have faith in god and you have salvation, that doesn’t mean commit suicide. It causes so much more pain and suffering for those who knew you and loved you. I’ve been dealing with suicidal depression since I was 7 years old. I’m now 30. That’s 27 years of fighting and collapsing under the weight of these thoughts and feelings. I have a wife, and 2 handsome boys who love me, yet there are still days when I wake up and wonder why I’m still here. It’s only been in the last 2 years that I’ve actually sought out help, and received it. About 2 years ago, I was going through a lot, and I was at work one day on the side of the road, and all I kept thinking was “It would make things so much easier, if I just walked right into traffic. The boys, and everybody else would be so much better off without me. I don’t have the resources or the heart to just run away and start over, so I might as well end it.” I’m glad that I didn’t. I’ve received so many incredible blessings since that day. There have still been unfaceable hardships, but there have been more incredible miracles that can only be God’s Grace. I understand how taboo asking for help with this is, especially as a black man. But we can’t fight this battle alone, and we can’t fight in silence any longer. So to anyone who is reading this comment right now, If you, or someone you know is struggling with this monster that is suicidal depression, please, I implore you with all of my heart, go get help. I always pondered that question. I struggled with suicidal thoughts since I was a young child and it got worse and worse as I got older. Even after being saved I still struggled and even planned my suicide. The only thing that kept me going was the thought of how sad my loved ones would be. I started a program with my husband at out church called ALPHA. I was uninterested but through the course I truly opened up for the first time. I also began seeking God, fasting and doing whatever I could to build my relationship with God. At the end of the course I realized that my suicidal thoughts were gone and for the first time ever I was truly happy. It's been a roller-coaster ride trying to figure out who I am now but I would never trade anything for what God did for me. All I can say is please don't give up. It's hard and unbearable at times but it will be worth it when you finally make it through. God 🙌

I wanted to leave a message here, as a survivor of trying to take away my life, there's always a chance to survive and be hurt. But there's always a 100% chance to hurt those you were close with. Especially those who know you. People can be touched by how you treat them. And it's good and bad depending on the circumstances. Even a small amount of time being in someone's life can mean a lot to someone. I hope anyone out there who struggled like I did will find their way like I did. As it wasn't my time to go. And I am glad to have been given a second chance.
I've been to the funerals of two young men who ended their lives.😢 Two good and talented men. So unexpected. You can talk to a person and never know what they're going through.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but don't let temporary problems cause you to take permanent action. It took me a long time to realize my life is not mine to take. I was going through a lot. I woke up one morning and realized that life is not about getting my way. Sometimes things go wrong. I started finding ways to heal my heart. Mostly focusing on the Bible I found scriptures that helped me. I still struggle sometimes but I start speaking God’s Word to myself and finding new things to focus on that I enjoy. Also realize that it’s not worth the risk of going to hell. Go get help! Forgetting those things that are behind me I press on toward a higher calling in Christ Jesus! Find a way to beat the thoughts out of your mind and replace them with God’s joy!
The enemy knew that one day my testimony would be so powerful that it can turn hearts to Jesus. I had accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior but no one walked with me. So from a young age I struggled in my faith and was very depressed during my teen years. Now at 55 Holy Spirit showed me the truth. He has preserved my life from many attempts in the past to testify in this hour. I was broken. I was lost. But Holy Spirit broke through it all last year and brought me back to Jesus. Now my testimony through thick and thin is being used to bring others to the love of Jesus Christ ✝️

My younger brother took his life 12 years ago. My last real conversation I had with him lasted for over 3 hours and in that time, I had the honor to share with him the Gospel and prayed with him a prayer of repentance. He said at the time that he didn't know if he truly meant it or not and that was because he had a lot of demonic activity against him. At the end of his life, we found he had a lot of journal entries that had talk about GOD and Jesus that all started after our conversation, he also had started reading a book on his own about starting your new walk with GOD and he ended his final note saying that he know what he was doing was wrong but he hoped that GOD would forgive him so he didn't have to spend eternity in hell.
I have suffered with severe depression and anxiety for many years and sadly I have thought of suicide. I have 3 daughters and a husband and my mind kept telling me that they would be better off without me. I did get help though and I am doing better. I still struggle at times but the thought of suicide doesn't cross my mind anymore. It was honestly the thought of an eternity in hell that helped break me from those thoughts. I didn't want to leave my personal hell on earth just to go through an even worse hell that would never end. If anyone reading this is struggling, please know that you ARE loved very much. Suicide only takes our trauma and it passes it on to the people who love us. Please seek help. I will be praying for all of who is suffering. 🙏🏼

I had been struggling with suicidal thoughts from the age of 11, and then it started to get serious and I did things I am ashamed of but then I found God and he showed me how to love myself again and he truly healed me and I am proud to say that I have been clean for a little more that 5 months I am now seeing a psychologist, and I was also diagnosed with depression, ADHD, and dyslexia. It can still be hard at times but that is all apart of the journey, now all i want is to be with God.

The message at his funeral was spot on in so many ways, but the line that sticks in my mind is when his pastor said, "Terry lost the battle for his Earthly life, but Jesus had already won the war for his soul." I remember the devil used to constantly lie to me saying that if I killed myself I would come back as a better person on earth, and be able to start over again, and be able to not make the same mistakes as I did last time. For any believer struggling still with depression, allow me to give a little detail about what Riyaah is talking about... 1. It was alluded to in the video, that suicidal thoughts come from demons. God has given us authority to trample upon the serpent's head, to bind demons, that they would flee and afflict us no more. 2. The Bible says that in the last days, which we are in, people "will have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof." Please, for your own sake, do not deny God's power which he gives to YOU to use to counterattack the enemy of your soul! Say aloud with confidence and authority, something along these lines..."right now I bind the strongman (which is Satan, see Mark chapter 3)I breaking the power of hell coming against me right now, binding every devil, every unclean spirit! Lying demons! I have dominion over you, and use it to render you powerless against me! I have victory, purpose, and salvation in Jesus name! BE GONE, NEVER TO RETURN!" The Power of words cannot be overstated (spoken about extensively in the Bible), nor can the authority God has given us.
Sometimes depression can come from the demonic, but it can also come from biological aspects as well (hormone imbalance, head injury, etc) or undealt with trauma. Even Jesus was called the man of sorrows. Being a Christian doesn’t guarantee that we will stop struggling with depression. Sometimes it’s our cross to bear. I know it’s mine.

But you don't think God can heal head traumas also, for example, to take away depression? Sorry, but I've seen and experienced way too many miraculous healings to believe he can't.
I know a friend of mine who had a girlfriend. She committed suicide last year due to a family member not accepting her boyfriend because of the color of his skin, she was white, he is black. It went on for so long that it drove her to take her own life. I might not have known them personally, but I had a helping hand that got them together. It was devastating when I got the news, but I know it hurt my friend the hardest since he and her really loved each other.

Thank you with this video really needed this, been followong God and Jesus since i was born and always loved church when 2020 came around i felt as if i was drifting away from them but then my best friend whos very religous told me about Jesus and God again and found one of my small bibles and felt happy once again i felt like i had them in my life. 2022 i was assaulted and felt lost i went to therapy and been diagnosed with ptsd and struggled with the bad memories but every time i felt sad i remembered Jesus and God i felt safe again and loved again. Those of us who have lost loved ones to suicide should also remember that we don't know what our loved one's final thoughts or even prayers were if there was any time between the act and their passing. The act was wrong, but it is possible it was regretted once it could not be taken back. I lost one of my precious younger sisters to suicide many years ago. Who knows what went through her mind in the minutes or hours before her consciousness was gone, or in the days she was on life support. I don't know, but I hope she remembered that despite what the enemy had told her we loved her beyond expression, and I hope and trust that she was not alone.
If she was saved by the Blood of Christ and was a true believer, she is with Christ in Heaven, I assure you. Once we are saved by Christ, no sin can separate us from His salvation, except the blasphemy against the Lord.

Amen. My cousin committed suicide by hanging himself, he was saved two weeks before that but, he had been apart of Satanism since he was a child. Even though he was saved he was still in bondage and he had many unhealed wounds from his horrific childhood. I have prayed to God about where he is and I feel that he has given me a knowing in my heart that he is with Jesus. I don’t believe it was even him that took his life, the demons took over. Now, he doesn’t have to suffer anymore and he will be loved forever, until I see him again.

As a 20 year vet who jumped into Panama, and been In everything since, and retired in 08 than becoming a Firefighter I truly understand when people near that point. I use to think suicide was a weak move but over the years my mind has changed. What keeps me going is my family for those others please get help. It’s a hard path but it can be traveled.

Tough subject but necessary indeed. My elder brother took his life in 2008. In one of his "letters" for the family, he stressed is belief in God. I've always struggled because I know he believed but his was too weak to overcome it. Ultimately, only our Lord knows our heart, and He knows my brother's heart. So at the end of the day, I will know someday when my time to leave comes. I made my peace with my brother's choice and I still miss him. And the rest is up to our God in heaven. I will say this to everyone, put your trust in Jesus, for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. And if you have these "thoughts' of suicide, absolutely reach out for help. God Bless you all.

My grandfather was a faithful follower of Jesus. A decade ago, he smiled as he went to his next journey. He was a humble hard working guy who spends his time reading Bible and singing gospel songs. My best friend Elijah who was my best friend for years, we were best friends since we were children. Elijah never ever thought suicide was okay, because he knew people who committed it. And he was disappointed with them, he hated when people did that. In 2020 he was going through a lot of trouble, such as talking to people that he shouldn't have been talking to, on messenger and Facebook. Elijah was a very over weight guy, and wanted a girl friend, he said to me I'll never forget it. Jeremiah I want to have what you have, meaning a wife and children. I told him you will man, just wait the right girl will come along. Elijah loved the Lord very much, he said to me Jeremiah I want us to go and preach and bring people to the gospel. We never got the chance, but I study at 29 years of age Christian apologetics and preach. In 2020 same year, I noticed that Elijah was not himself, he was acting weird. He was wanting to hurt people, and he almost went to jail on a couple of occasions he was in front of a judge, like I said he never ever acted like this. So in 2020 he was from what his mother and sister told me, is that he was talking to girls that were our age, late 20's. His mother and sister said to me that he was wanting to date, and I was later told that the girls that he was talking to, the were cyber bullies Elijah didn't know that. All he wanted to find was a girl to date, he was on a dating website, then spoke over messenger from Facebook. He accepted their friend requests. And like I said he was talking to them for a while. In the end these girls started manipulating him, calling him names, and hurting his feelings, telling him that know one cared about him at all, Elijah believed it, and they told him to kill himself, and on September 21 he went into the bathroom of his mother's home and took several bottles of pills, and started swallowing them. He then later collapsed in the bathroom. He was rushed to flower hospital here in Toledo ohio in critical condition. His sister called me crying trying not to anyway, she told me what happened at 3:00 in the morning. I couldn't sleep the rest of the day, because like I said Elijah was not just my best friend, by my brother. That day on the 22 of September Elijah passed away in the hospital due to suicide he was 25 years old. The six girls that have a history of doing this, are still on the loose, and I hope that they will be found. Elijah Northcutt I miss you always my brother, every day I think of you and I never forget the memories. Please everybody remember him he was the sweetest person in the world, he had a laugh and a smile that was filled with joy. When he smiled you smiled. I miss him so much. Elijah Northcutt august 10 of 1995 to September 22 2020.
I too am a survivor of a loved one's suicide. My brother took his life at the age of 20. I survived my suicide attempt that I did a long time ago. I learned that there are many people who have your back and that your life is important to God and to those around you who love you. I hope that I have not committed the unforgivable sin- I don't think that I have- but I hope not. Also- I know from my experience that the most important thing to do- is to ask for help as you mentioned in this video. It has been several years now and I am now married to my wife and we are enjoying our marriage together and we spend time with family and friends. So all hope is not lost. Ask for help and trust God.
I just spent 2 weeks in the psych ward after planning suicide. My Pastor took me to the hospital and had me admitted. My life was saved that day and my faith in Jesus has been renewed. I will be getting baptized on Saturday. The enemy had me in his grip for a long time and I fight this battle daily but with Gods help I make it through each day. I want to be in God's presence but ONLY when He brings me there.

I've spent a week in the psych ward for having thoughts of suicide a couple of years ago. I had admitted myself because I knew that I wasn't okay.
My son in law passed away 2.5 years ago. He was an Army veteran and fought in Afghanistan. He had a ptsd breakdown. He was hearing voices and thinking people were after him. He even went to the VA hospitals and signed his self in to get help.
He was home for 2 wks before he went missing on a friday. He was found on Sunday but it was to late. I now help raise my grandson's.
I really needed to hear this.

My brother also served in Afghanistan, many years ago, and came home with severe PTSD and just last year was diagnosed with schizophrenia.. it’s been heartbreaking to watch him go through that… I pray, In Jesus name, that you and your family will feel the compassion of the Holy Spirit and will be surrounded by endless support and compassion as you grieve. I can’t imagine the pain you must be feeling, but I pray that you will feel the Peace of His presence as the Lord carries you in His loving arms.
I don’t share this a lot but I’m thirteen. When I was around 10 I had these really bad suicidal thoughts and tried to hang myself a couple times. Eventually the school found out and called my parents and apparently they were going to send me to a mental hospital without telling me and my parents had to literally beg the school not to. I became more in touch with God after that, and I went into therapy. I’m happy to say, that I only have mild anxiety and ADHD, but I am enjoying life and am happy with myself!! :3
In my country, if a school or the police try to put a student in a mental hospital, they will find themselves in court.

I tell you brother I like a lot of the messages that your brain but you are so wrong on so many points here. There are numerous scriptures that talk about losing your ability to be saved. Very clearly the Apostle Paul says we are being saved, not that we are saved no matter what as you claim. Jesus talks about bearing fruit or being cut off the vine and being burned in the internal fire. The Apostle Paul said I run the race with endurance lest after preaching others I myself in disqualified. He also talks about being enlightened and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit and then going back to your life of sin and they're no longer remains a sacrifice for your sin but rather a terrifying expectation of judgment. The message that says you are saved no matter what is the most dangerous preaching in the church today.

Several years ago, I struggled with a horrible anxiety. I did “everything”, but every day the anxiety was getting worst and worst. I prayed and prayed to Jesus and God to heal me, but I was feeling they weren’t listening to me. In the end they were always there. I’m here today, because they healed me…they never let go of my hand.

I saved a loved one’s life when they attempted suicide. They had a terminal illness and were a person of great faith. It was the only time I ever saw an angel. I had stabilized her (I had advanced first aid training) and I was waiting for paramedics and I saw a beautiful angel sitting with us. I felt a deep sense of calm. I asked the angel if they were there for her and the angel said, “I’m here for both of you.” Praise Jesus for a gospel of grace. I believe that suicide is forgiven, as it is the depths of pain and sorrow, something only Christ can truly empathize with. Thank you for this video.

Personally, no matter how depressed I am or how many suicidal thoughts I have, I would never attempt to end my life again and risk spending eternity in hell. Where you will be spending eternity is important, and it is something you can't undo once it happens, so please don't risk spending it in hell and instead continue to live for Jesus because you're alive right now for a good reason and God loves you!!

My best friend on ten years died by his own hand. I don’t know how religious he was, but he taught me many things. He’s one of the reasons I regained my faith. However his mother hated him, blamed him for everything and he wanted her attention and love. His sister tried to kill herself years prior, but failed and she was showered in love. I think he tried to do the same and went too far.
I light a candle or turn on one of those candle lights in his memory every Saturday I go to church. He saved my life and even though he took his own, I hope god acknowledges all that we did for each other. I hope that counts for something. I hope he’s there when it’s my time to come home.

But forcing someone to live a life they never asked for or want to be in is a bit cruel. During my worst thoughts, and during actual serious consideration and planning to commit suicide, I found Jesus. He put little signs in my life, telling me to look for Him, to start having hope. I wanted to cry when I figured out how much Jesus knows about my suffering and everyone else's. I now feel so much closer to Him, to the point where hearing or even thinking His name feels so much more impactful and brings grace back into my heart. I fight battles and repent against sin in the name of Jesus.

Since then, I had been extremely worried where he was going to end up. This video has been incredibly helpful in easing my worries, but also makes me have a solemn request for anyone who sees this: please pray for his salvation in the face of taking his own life.
Your friend is okay. They have gone home and all is well. Father loves us unconditionally and as a father he wants us to be happy. He knows all our struggles, he knows all our pain. As a believer, I have fought almost daily against suicidal thoughts for 40+ years. I never questioned that God's grace was enough if I made that final decision. I am thankful that I haven't made that decision yet, but tomorrow is another day.

I lost a friend in highschool to suicide 😢. After seeing all the people at his funeral I was saddened that he didn't realize how many people loved him and will miss him. But I believe he's in heaven, because he saved me. I just thought about how many people my death would affect,and it made me stop. I’ve been a Christian my whole life, saved and baptized… but have endured a series of traumatic events all through out my life (I’m 27) that had weighed so heavily on me that I felt extreme hopelessness and made several attempts on my life and developed an addiction to SH.. by the Grace of God I am still here.. 2 years ago I joined a faith-based recovery program and God really worked on my heart. It’s been nearly a year and a half since I last gave in to SH and longer since my last attempt… I may have scars covering my body, but I know God has a greater plan for me and I can use my story as a testimony of God’s Grace and love and kindness and compassion.

@@19and23areCode It’s a little difficult to understand exactly your point of view through a comment with just text, but I think what you’re saying is basically what I meant, that we are not supposed to continue in sin. People make mistakes but willingly living in sin is different then messing up once in a while. That also doesn’t mean to use “messing up once in a while” as an excuse to sin. Hebrews 10:23 says “if we continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins” and yeah 1 John 3 says similar things as well. Ephesians 2:8-9 says we are not saved by our own works but by grace through faith, we did not receive salvation through our works, it was a gift, but it’s also out of respect and obedience that we continue to not sin, because God hates sin and can’t be around it. If we did continue to live in sin, we’d be doing an injustice to the one that endured so much for us (Jesus). Imagine going through so much only for us to continue to live in sin. Besides that, if we are truly Christians, aka literally followers of Christ, we will try to be more Christ like every day (and the Holy Spirit will help us with that) while also not being perfect, if we were perfect, we wouldn’t have needed Jesus.
Your life is a precious gift. NEVER THROW IT AWAY. No matter how dark things get, there is always something or someone worth living for, I promise you! Extend your life by eating healthy, exercising, and getting plenty of sleep! Be a role model for those around you and encourage them to embrace the gift of life as well!

The idea that suicidals go straight to hell is literally one of the major factors that kept me away from God and from my faith for many years. It’s disgusting. People commit suicide for a whole range of reasons, but more often than not it’s because of the monstrous actions of other people, and those said monsters wearing human skin will in all likelihood show up to the funeral pretending to be grieving knowing full well that they purposefully caused it. If anyone deserves to be thrown into the pits of hell, it’s the people who drive others into suicide, not (more often than not) poor innocent people whose lives are so miserable and scary that they feared it more than they feared dying!

I am almost 64, and started feeling depressed at age 8, and suicidal by age 11. I was undiagnosed until age 31, and have been on and off prozac and other meds for 25+ years. I have been a born again Christian since I was 31 also. I still get attacked every 2-3 years by thoughts of suicide, but have become better and getting help when it hits and starting to fight back by prayer to God to stop the thoughts and attacks. It isn't easy, but I am still here and loving my life!

Lost my Brother to suicide August 25th, 2022. My Brother loved Jesus, so when my nephews ask if he's with Jesus, I answer yes. Doesn't make this not difficult to hold onto and trust in, through the damage it's left behind. If you're thinking about it, just know it's going to cause unbearable pain to those of us still here. Fight for your life, lest you pass your pain onto those you love and love you. It's more wirth it to struggle than to leave that with someone else. Jesus loves all of us, keep the faith.

I had a friend who intentionally overdosed on drugs. She was depressed after her infant son 's tragic death a year earlier. She did accept Jesus about a month before her death. She seemed ti getting better after her salvation, so her death shocked all of us. Before this, I had always believed that suicide was a one way ticket to Hell and even told her that. However, on the day if her official passing I had a vision and was caught up to Heaven. I saw her in Heaven and she was holding her infant son in her arms. She said, "Don't be sad for me, be happy for me, because I'm happy." She then said to me, "Thank you for always being there for me and thank you for never giving up on me." I said to her, "When I'm ready to come home, you and Gage (her infant son) better be there ready to greet me!" She leaned in closer and said, "I will". Her parting words to me were, "Help Steven." (the father of their other 3 children). Then the vision ended.
Infants don’t exist in Heaven. What purpose is an infant in heaven? A helpless baby that does not grow? That seems unfair, doesn’t it? It’s selfish thinking that a mother who lost their small child will see that person again as a small child. Selfish because the parent wants that child the same human size they had on earth. That’s not fair for the soul that is that child, to have a helpless eternal body.

My friend suffered schizophrenia and depression after a prolong period of stress, lack of sleep, along with an unhealthy diet high in sugar. Now she has managed the condition very well after seeing a physiatrist, exercise, get healthy diet with good fats and proteins. Above all, God came to her rescue, surrounded her with many good Christians to give her support. The context of this passage is about not building your beliefs and theology around human leaders and specific teachers. I personally would find an interpretation around "destroying the temple" as destroying the gospel focus of my life by over emphasizing a specific leader, not as suicide.
I struggled with depression and had suicidal thoughts, i actually believed that if i’m gone everyone who knew me would either be happy i’m gone or wouldn’t care. I talked to school counselors, i even told friends, other than the counselors the friends i told how i was feeling they said they don’t believe me, until it gets to the point where i actually take my own life they’ll believe me, I prayed every night so God can remove my depression and fill my mind with joy, now i’m free from depression, I wouldn’t say I’m really happy but I’m no longer upset 24/7 and the depression is gone so I thank God for that.

This year has been extremely hard for me. I had never struggled with my mental health like I have this year, it was terrifying that I felt I was not in control. I knew I wanted to live a life by God’s word but I felt attacked and in a deep hole. The only reason I am still here is because I told God that I needed His help or I would perish, and then I kind of let go. I pray for everyone out there struggling with these issues, I hope that soon we can all be okay

Here i am 7 months from now i do feel better and i am able to work again. God is my savior. I love him because he was there when noone was there.

My son committed suicide. His diagnosis from Stanford Hospital was schizo-affective disorder, which means that he would drift into schizophrenia frequently. At the end, he heard them all the time. Ten months after his death I heard him say ‘Mom’ telepathically. No message. Just ‘Mom’. I made a note on my calendar. Some time elapsed before I realized that that was the date of my father’s 105th birthday. Shortly before he died, he told me that he really missed ‘grandaddy’ - my father. I am so looking forward to joining him and the rest of my family when it’s my time. But not before my time.
One of Jesus's famous parables of Lazarus and the rich man in it he talks about how there is a chasm between heaven and this world and that the dead cannot cross back over (found in Luke chapter sixteen verse twenty six). That’s why it’s hard for me to believe a true believer would ever commit suicide. I would have at one point in my life if I had not had the true Source of strength to turn to each day until the worst of my trauma had passed. And it took years. We have someone we can turn to and not give the devil satisfaction. Saturate your day with scripture, prayer and praise music. I put encouraging scripture on sticky notes all over my apartment, everywhere I looked. It was plastered. I wrote out my pain to the Lord in a notebook and cried out to him to take my pain away and help me. I had worship songs playing to help me focus on God. Focus is so important.

I have a very close friend that I met online in 2021 and she sometimes told me that she has suicidal thoughts because she has some family problems. At that time, I was scared because I don't want to lose her so I tried to asked her to changed her mind because God has a purpose for her. Then after many years, I thank the Lord that she's still doing okay until now. I always told her to keep moving forward and don't lose hope because God will always guide her everyday. We've been online friends for almost three years and we promised that we will going to meet each other in real life in the future. I pray to God that she's doing okay.

Sorry to hear that, lost my elder sis 13 yrs ago, but one thing those who take away their life is because Nobody/families listens to them. They're tired 😢and they chose that as away to rest from their families. I think they also want to take revenge on those toxic/controlling/ abusive families and/or whoever they deal with. This story has the best ending and a beautiful beginning. All my life, I've gone through physical and mental torture from my parents and all of the stepmoms I've had. On my 18th birthday, my father and his at the time wife had taken me to their church for marriage counseling. There was a girl 1 year younger than me who was fond of me. She followed me around wherever I went around the church. I never asked her to. My stepbitch ended up telling the whole church that I had pedophilic feelings towards her. This is the day I became an adult. My dad didn't even try to help, so I moved to New York to live with my mother. Even there, I still had nobody to turn to for help with bullies, abuse, etc. After 5 months of surviving, I found myself at the ledge of a bridge with a 120-foot drop into shallow waters at midnight. I saw a set of headlights approaching and started slowly leaning forward. I heard the opening of a car door and not even a second after that I was yanked back onto the bridge by my teary-eyed father whom I thought was still in Missouri. 3 years later, I'm happily married, with a son on the way.. 'Niko Alan Wolfe.' Take it from me. You have so much to live for!
Wow if that's true thats an incredible story. God saved your life that night, without any doubt. That was the heavenly Father who knew you would be there that night, and arranged for your own dad to be there too. Think of the pre-planning that went into that miracle from God. He had to set so many things in motion, far in advance, to make that happen for you. Jesus truly is a wonderful King and all-powerful Savior... this story shows me just how much Jesus loves you. He even went further than this for you. He gave his life to forgive your sins. He rose to give you the hope of eternal life, if you put your faith in him. I think he's earned your faith. ❤✝️

Over the years I've been through so many rejections, insults, exiles, abandonments, etc that I find it extremely hard to even approach living in a community, or becoming part of a church family. I just cannot get myself to go back in again. I can't meet new people or make friends, at least in person. God is telling me that church and family are good things. I just can't do it.

Anything that separates you from the love of God is a sin, this being suicide because you chose not to trust in God and didn't believe in him,therefore being separated from his grace. I was not looking for a video about this topic. It just showed up. I very recently know someone that committed suicide, the person accepted Christ but was battling drug use. I believe he fall to the addiction one last time and in the end did what he did. This video is helping me to process it all. Thank you and thank God for showing/leading me to this video.

It always bothered me when Christians would flat out condemn someone, a person who was mentally hurting, suffering, and not getting the help they needed, to hell based on their suicide. I think Catholics tend to make condemnation by a person their belief system. I always felt that my God was not quite so black and white. He knows our minds, hearts, and souls. I had been struggling with anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, and I have never struggled with my mental health like I have the past few months, I had thoughts of loneliness, depression, or being a failure in life. But one day my friend invited me to go to church with him and I agreed. When I went there, something in the atmosphere felt different. Everyone was nice, my friends were there, people were talking and laughing, there was no sign of pain or suffering. We had a pastor, and one thing he said stuck out to me the most. “The air you’re breathing is a gift, Your eyesight is a gift, and your life is a gift” it gave me a new perspective on life. I realized, hating life is not something to hate, because everyday is a blessing. To live is a blessing. To laugh is a blessing. And the thing is, if you really have faith in god and you have salvation, that doesn’t mean commit suicide. It causes so much more pain and suffering for those who knew you and loved you. I’ve been dealing with suicidal depression since I was 7 years old. I’m now 30. That’s 27 years of fighting and collapsing under the weight of these thoughts and feelings. I have a wife, and 2 handsome boys who love me, yet there are still days when I wake up and wonder why I’m still here. It’s only been in the last 2 years that I’ve actually sought out help, and received it. About 2 years ago, I was going through a lot, and I was at work one day on the side of the road, and all I kept thinking was “It would make things so much easier, if I just walked right into traffic. The boys, and everybody else would be so much better off without me. I don’t have the resources or the heart to just run away and start over, so I might as well end it.” I’m glad that I didn’t. I’ve received so many incredible blessings since that day. There have still been unfaceable hardships, but there have been more incredible miracles that can only be God’s Grace. I understand how taboo asking for help with this is, especially as a black man. But we can’t fight this battle alone, and we can’t fight in silence any longer. So to anyone who is reading this comment right now, If you, or someone you know is struggling with this monster that is suicidal depression, please, I implore you with all of my heart, go get help. I always pondered that question. I struggled with suicidal thoughts since I was a young child and it got worse and worse as I got older. Even after being saved I still struggled and even planned my suicide. The only thing that kept me going was the thought of how sad my loved ones would be. I started a program with my husband at out church called ALPHA. I was uninterested but through the course I truly opened up for the first time. I also began seeking God, fasting and doing whatever I could to build my relationship with God. At the end of the course I realized that my suicidal thoughts were gone and for the first time ever I was truly happy. It's been a roller-coaster ride trying to figure out who I am now but I would never trade anything for what God did for me. All I can say is please don't give up. It's hard and unbearable at times but it will be worth it when you finally make it through. God 🙌

Especially those who know you. People can be touched by how you treat them. And it's good and bad depending on the circumstances. I was going through a lot. I woke up one morning and realized that life is not about getting my way. Sometimes things go wrong. I started finding ways to heal my heart. Mostly focusing on the Bible I found scriptures that helped me. I still struggle sometimes but I start speaking God’s Word to myself and finding new things to focus on that I enjoy. Also realize that it’s not worth the risk of going to hell. Go get help! Forgetting those things that are behind me I press on toward a higher calling in Christ Jesus! Find a way to beat the thoughts out of your mind and replace them with God’s joy!

The enemy knew that one day my testimony would be so powerful that it can turn hearts to Jesus. I had accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior but no one walked with me. So from a young age I struggled in my faith and was very depressed during my teen years. Now at 55 Holy Spirit showed me the truth. He has preserved my life from many attempts in the past to testify in this hour. I was broken. I was lost. But Holy Spirit broke through it all last year and brought me back to Jesus. My younger brother took his life 12 years ago. My last real conversation I had with him lasted for over 3 hours and in that time, I had the honor to share with him the Gospel and prayed with him a prayer of repentance. He said at the time that he didn't know if he truly meant it or not and that was because he had a lot of demonic activity against him. At the end of his life, we found he had a lot of journal entries that had talk about GOD and Jesus that all started after our conversation, he also had started reading a book on his own about starting your new walk with GOD and he ended his final note saying that he know what he was doing was wrong but he hoped that GOD would forgive him so he didn't have to spend eternity in hell.
He isn't in Hell. Hell is a human concept. The after life is more complex than the dichotomy of Heaven and Hell.

I have suffered with severe depression and anxiety for many years and sadly I have thought of suicide. I have 3 daughters and a husband and my mind kept telling me that they would be better off without me. I did get help though and I am doing better. I still struggle at times but the thought of suicide doesn't cross my mind anymore. It was honestly the thought of an eternity in hell that helped break me from those thoughts. I didn't want to leave my personal hell on earth just to go through an even worse hell that would never end. If anyone reading this is struggling, please know that you ARE loved very much. Suicide only takes our trauma and it passes it on to the people who love us. Please seek help. I will be praying for all of who is suffering. 🙏🏼

God’s love for you is impossible to comprehend, measure or imagine. Nothing in your past or current circumstances can separate you from His love.
Rom 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
Rom 8:39 “...nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Because of God’s love for you, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for you in order to give you an everlasting life of joy, peace and love.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Because of His love for you, He continues to chase you all your life. He stands at the door of your heart. He cannot come into your life without your approval. You need to allow Him in.
Rev 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
Once you let Him in, you will enjoy His company and His love. Today, if you are still looking for joy and peace somewhere else, I can confirm to you that you will not find these outside of a loving relationship with Jesus.

Even if true Christian commited suicide, they wouldnt be in hell
I had been struggling with suicidal thoughts from the age of 11, and then it started to get serious and I did things I am ashamed of but then I found God and he showed me how to love myself again and he truly healed me and I am proud to say that I have been clean for a little more that 5 months I am now seeing a psychologist, and I was also diagnosed with depression, ADHD, and dyslexia. It can still be hard at times but that is all apart of the journey, now all i want is to be with God.
Even though i am in middle school, i know what suicidal thoughts are.

Last year, a friend of mine committed suicide when his financial life fell apart. The message at his funeral was spot on in so many ways, but the line that sticks in my mind is when his pastor said, "Terry lost the battle for his Earthly life, but Jesus had already won the war for his soul." Amen! Our God has defeated death and the grave. We trust in him even in the darkest hour.

I remember the devil used to constantly lie to me saying that if I killed myself I would come back as a better person on earth, and be able to start over again, and be able to not make the same mistakes as I did last time. I no longer believe in that anymore, and I now want to strengthen my relationship, and obedience to the Lord, and God.
I’ve struggled w/ these thoughts 🥲 as a Born again believer and ik I have the Holy Spirit, but I still struggled with suicidal thoughts. He brought me through and continues u. For any believer struggling still with depression, allow me to give a little detail about what Riyaah is talking about...
1. It was alluded to in the video, that suicidal thoughts come from demons. God has given us authority to trample upon the serpent's head, to bind demons, that they would flee and afflict us no more.
2. The Bible says that in the last days, which we are in, people "will have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof." Please, for your own sake, do not deny God's power which he gives to YOU to use to counterattack the enemy of your soul! Say aloud with confidence and authority, something along these lines..."right now I bind the strongman (which is Satan, see Mark chapter 3)I breaking the power of hell coming against me right now, binding every devil, every unclean spirit! Lying demons! I have dominion over you, and use it to render you powerless against me! I have victory, purpose, and salvation in Jesus name! BE GONE, NEVER TO RETURN!"
The Power of words cannot be overstated (spoken about extensively in the Bible), nor can the authority God has given us.
Sometimes depression can come from the demonic, but it can also come from biological aspects as well (hormone imbalance, head injury, etc) or undealt with trauma. Even Jesus was called the man of sorrows. Being a Christian doesn’t guarantee that we will stop struggling with depression. Sometimes it’s our cross to bear. I know it’s mine.

It's true that oftentimes spiritual dynamics manifest in the physical, and certainly the Bible speaks of inherited curses, over which depression could be one. But you don't think God can heal head traumas also, for example, to take away depression? Sorry, but I've seen and experienced way too many miraculous healings to believe he can't.

I know a friend of mine who had a girlfriend. She committed suicide last year due to a family member not accepting her boyfriend because of the color of his skin, she was white, he is black. It went on for so long that it drove her to take her own life. I might not have known them personally, but I had a helping hand that got them together. It was devastating when I got the news, but I know it hurt my friend the hardest since he and her really loved each other.

Thank you with this video really needed this, been followong God and Jesus since i was born and always loved church when 2020 came around i felt as if i was drifting away from them but then my best friend whos very religous told me about Jesus and God again and found one of my small bibles and felt happy once again i felt like i had them in my life. 2022 i was assaulted and felt lost i went to therapy and been diagnosed with ptsd and struggled with the bad memories but every time i felt sad i remembered Jesus and God i felt safe again and loved again. I stopped harming myself and ive been a year and two months clean of selfharm im happy to say i feel more healed then ever. ❤
Those of us who have lost loved ones to suicide should also remember that we don't know what our loved one's final thoughts or even prayers were if there was any time between the act and their passing. The act was wrong, but it is possible it was regretted once it could not be taken back. I lost one of my precious younger sisters to suicide many years ago. Who knows what went through her mind in the minutes or hours before her consciousness was gone, or in the days she was on life support. I don't know, but I hope she remembered that despite what the enemy had told her we loved her beyond expression, and I hope and trust that she was not alone.

This is a team work, The Lord has done his part on the cross, now is our turn to play our role by living according to his commands. No envy, jealously, revenge, resentment, unforgiveness, pain of the Past etc. If we say we live the Lord then we should let go all these things in order to have a free spirit to receive the Lord in our Heart/Spirit, and all these things held back our prayers because we have no free Spirit. So therefore, anyone that dies in sin shall receive the wages of Sin which is death ( Hell ) the Opposite of Life ( Heaven ).
Amen. My cousin committed suicide by hanging himself, he was saved two weeks before that but, he had been apart of Satanism since he was a child. Even though he was saved he was still in bondage and he had many unhealed wounds from his horrific childhood.
I have prayed to God about where he is and I feel that he has given me a knowing in my heart that he is with Jesus. I don’t believe it was even him that took his life, the demons took over. Now, he doesn’t have to suffer anymore and he will be loved forever, until I see him again.

I really needed to hear this , I've had this question for so long , I had suicidal thoughts before and known few that committed suicide. And I always cried at the thought of them not receiving salvation or being forgiven by the lord for the choise they made, and this made me cry and filled me with hope.
Suicide should NEVER be an option for a true follower of Christ (for a child of God). We must diligently seek the presence of God every day; we must seek his holiness every day in: prayer, fasting and Scripture.

As a 20 year vet who jumped into Panama, and been In everything since, and retired in 08 than becoming a Firefighter I truly understand when people near that point. I use to think suicide was a weak move but over the years my mind has changed. What keeps me going is my family for those others please get help. It’s a hard path but it can be traveled.

A year ago, I almost committed suicide many times, and I’m so glad I didn’t, I was a lukewarm Christian at the time, and I would of ended up in hell, but I gave life a second chance, and I built my relationship with God, and I’m now finally starting to see my purpose, and it’s to live for him ❤️

Tough subject but necessary indeed. My elder brother took his life in 2008. In one of his "letters" for the family, he stressed is belief in God. I've always struggled because I know he believed but his was too weak to overcome it. Ultimately, only our Lord knows our heart, and He knows my brother's heart. So at the end of the day, I will know someday when my time to leave comes. I made my peace with my brother's choice and I still miss him. And the rest is up to our God in heaven. I will say this to everyone, put your trust in Jesus, for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. And if you have these "thoughts' of suicide, absolutely reach out for help. God Bless you all.
As someone who was suicidal for years, I know with certainty Jesus Christ is my rock, my protector and my Lord. He saved me and can save you too.
33 years ago my sister shot herself in the chest. She has missed so much of life. We can't understand and pray she is resting until our Savior's final judgement and she will be rewarded a heavenly place. RIP. 💙
My grandfather was a faithful follower of Jesus. A decade ago, he smiled as he went to his next journey.
He was a humble hard working guy who spends his time reading Bible and singing gospel songs.
God blessed us not because we deserve it but his faith in God was too deep and real that we receive these blessing through my granddad.

My best friend Elijah who was my best friend for years, we were best friends since we were children. Elijah never ever thought suicide was okay, because he knew people who committed it. And he was disappointed with them, he hated when people did that. In 2020 he was going through a lot of trouble, such as talking to people that he shouldn't have been talking to, on messenger and Facebook. Elijah was a very over weight guy, and wanted a girl friend, he said to me I'll never forget it. Jeremiah I want to have what you have, meaning a wife and children. I told him you will man, just wait the right girl will come along. Elijah loved the Lord very much, he said to me Jeremiah I want us to go and preach and bring people to the gospel. We never got the chance, but I study at 29 years of age Christian apologetics and preach. In 2020 same year, I noticed that Elijah was not himself, he was acting weird. He was wanting to hurt people, and he almost went to jail on a couple of occasions he was in front of a judge, like I said he never ever acted like this. So in 2020 he was from what his mother and sister told me, is that he was talking to girls that were our age, late 20's. His mother and sister said to me that he was wanting to date, and I was later told that the girls that he was talking to, the were cyber bullies Elijah didn't know that. All he wanted to find was a girl to date, he was on a dating website, then spoke over messenger from Facebook. He accepted their friend requests. And like I said he was talking to them for a while. In the end these girls started manipulating him, calling him names, and hurting his feelings, telling him that know one cared about him at all, Elijah believed it, and they told him to kill himself, and on September 21 he went into the bathroom of his mother's home and took several bottles of pills, and started swallowing them. He then later collapsed in the bathroom. He was rushed to flower hospital here in Toledo ohio in critical condition. His sister called me crying trying not to anyway, she told me what happened at 3:00 in the morning. I couldn't sleep the rest of the day, because like I said Elijah was not just my best friend, by my brother. That day on the 22 of September Elijah passed away in the hospital due to suicide he was 25 years old. The six girls that have a history of doing this, are still on the loose, and I hope that they will be found. Elijah Northcutt I miss you always my brother, every day I think of you and I never forget the memories. Please everybody remember him he was the sweetest person in the world, he had a laugh and a smile that was filled with joy. When he smiled you smiled. I miss him so much. Elijah Northcutt august 10 of 1995 to September 22 2020.

I too am a survivor of a loved one's suicide. My brother took his life at the age of 20. I did not need this video to know if he was in Heaven, but I know there are probably millions who are unsure of the answer, so I want to share this. And thank you for creating it. Can't wait to see him again and know that he has never suffered one more unbearably sad day since going to be with Jesus. Praise God!
I survived my suicide attempt that I did a long time ago. I learned that there are many people who have your back and that your life is important to God and to those around you who love you. I hope that I have not committed the unforgivable sin- I don't think that I have- but I hope not. Also- I know from my experience that the most important thing to do- is to ask for help as you mentioned in this video. It has been several years now and I am now married to my wife and we are enjoying our marriage together and we spend time with family and friends. So all hope is not lost. Ask for help and trust God.
