Hi mate, the Bomber CR is a solid shock - a tad more on the stiff side ,so i had to go down from a 500 to a 450 pound spring...but very good for jump lines indeed 😁
Thanks for mentioning about the surface being possibly a bit slick in the wet. Forecast for this friday 28th when I'm going is 60% chance of rain :-( so hoping the forcast is wrong!

Do you mean 60% precipitation? (That's usually the info that weather apps give) in which case it doesn't mean 60% chance of rain,it means that 60% of the area will experience rain (usually it's done by counties,so here in Oxford if the weather apps say 20% rain,it means 20% of Oxfordshire will experience rain,not that there's a 20% chance of it raining where I am) sorry if I didn't explain it very well,and I also apologise if you already knew this,but I've found over the years that most people aren't actually aware of what the percentage means.
Lewis, that place looks mint, thanks! You know, it was really easy to ‘see’ those trail features as you rode. Any chance of going back and doing a bit of VLog coaching commentary for us breaking down how to sort out some of the ‘crux’ problems you discovered?

In Manchester we got Wythenshawe cycle hub, for £1.5 million, the tarmac pump track is decent but the rest is a joke imo, you don't get much for your money these days.
There was some sort of animal on the trail, around 11:02 - 11:03 😳 in the schadow on the berm, running into the inside of the berm. propably a sqiurrel =D Edit: or like a huge spider 😁
I'm curious how long did it take them to build this for 1m? We're digging our own tiny bike park and it takes ages just to build 6m table, because proper machine won't get there :)

I think the Whistler comparison is a tad bit too much tbh. Was there at the weekend and honestly I was a little bored. Good for families though, mostly blues, and even on the reds my Mrs, who has only been riding a few months, found them really accessible. She struggles with some of the steeper runs at Glentrees, so found this far more accommodating.
I agree with you and I am not biker. I just like watching these types of videos. I found everything very boring it looks all the same to me. There are a few with little jumps but it's just a flow track on all the different ones. Not a very exciting place. Nothing to test anyone's riding skills. A big thumbs down for me.
So Whistler's strength is its incredible number of trails, variety (especially technical), and vertical. And 20 years of trail building to add pure volume. But genuinely, these trails look more fun than any of Whistler's mid-difficulty flow trails, by far. Just awesome trail building sense.

The amount and quality of riding available in Aberdeenshire is world class. Easily the best riding in Britain, both natural and man made.
