Great video as always! I’m fortunate to have this 10 minutes drive from my door, so yeh, got my ‘legendary pass’ (£35 btw) and got up there last week. Will be back plenty for sure!
Thanks for the shout out Andrew. I loved how you rode about 3 berms and decided you loved the place! I was the same. Finally we have a serious trail centre offering trails that we rarely get to ride. But more than that, the quality of the build is next level. Just imagine CRC had designed and built the Blue Doon! Perfect trail centre. Just perfect. P.s. let's get to Fools Gold and try and nail it!
No worries Jamie, loved your video. I definitely want to get Fools Gold cleaned next time. This level of building with Blue Doon’s elevation and backdrop would be unbelievable!
Wow! Thanks for this one! I've now added that to my schedule for my trip to Scotland this year with my bike. Would probably have missed this place this year if you hadn't uploaded this video! Looks absolutely epic.

Great commentary and content Andrew 😀 - the Aberdisney' pay dirt has been sculpted with exceptional care & skill. All credit to the Tarland II team, CRC and numerous contributors. Loved riding all these exquisite trails blind in a train. Elements of Crank It Up and B-Line @ Whistler in places. Refreshing to see a bold mix of jumps, booters and surfaces. Moving to Tarland in a couple weeks :) I tested the trails and they are quite fun, prefer Innerleithen/Golfie by quite some margin, but it will be great having this on my doorstep.
Just had a fantastic day here. Came up from Cumbria after seeing your video because it looked so good. It did not disappoint. It is a slog up to the top, but the trails are absolutely fabulous. Next day did a natural ride up and around Pannanich Hill, which was a great bit of downhill. Definitely have to come back up for more. Can recommend the Ballater Hostel as a base, too.
That was me down at the blue caddy trying to work out of it was you or not! Quality video, such a awesome place! Runs get even better after a couple times down them

Thanks for the video, after having my mountain bike stolen I gave up for a few years. Just bought myself a new mountain bike and have been enjoying myself in the woods, and headed up to Carron Valley Reservoir, which was pretty but a bit boring! Will have to find some more technical routes like these.
Heading up Sunday. It looks (on all the videos so far) like the blue is much more *fun* than Blue Doon at Nevis. The Black looks like there's plenty of air to be had. Very different from the technical stuff you (and I) usually focus on.
Gotta love a new trail centre to explore. But I wouldn't be too harsh about Scotland's MTB options when you've got trail centres like the 7 Stanes, Laggan, Glenlivet, Moray Monster, & gondola uplifts at Fort William & Glencoe! But I agree there must be potential for a Scots version of BPW, Dyfi or Antur Stiniog,
