I would love to see him again on this track with the Santa Cruz V10. He looked lik an above average rider to me and i gues he enjoyed the experiance, Moreover i could see the details of the trail which is so interesting. if pros are crushing this trail it looks like a flowtrail. Here i could see a lot of details. If there is a posssibility that you could ride with him some more and coach him to get even more comfortable on this bike it would be a pleasure to watch him shred even harder. :)

I've also heard from significantly lighter riders that my brakes don't have much bite. But that's because I run massive rotors and finned sintered pads that don't even reach operating temperature under a lightweight rider. So the comparison is only fair if you run the same pads and rotors as well. At nearly 90kg with riding gear I have nowhere near the skills to not cook organic pads on a proper DH track.

Lewis, have ride the Forbidden Druid to follow him? It's was 3 years ago I guess you ride a Druid. I remember you do the same trail on this video with the Druid. The same year I think you try the Forbidden Dreadnought when it's was a prototype.

Nothing like the feeling of monster trucking on a DH bike. Alex mentioned the brakes felt less bitey than his, even though you're both running the same Hayes. Different pad compound ? Need a bleed?
Hmm unsure. I think we maybe use diff pads and I like my levers more in to the bar
I am not sure but don't you increase presure when you are sitting on the bike? Shouldn't you do the fork adujstment without load? Other wise nice vid

Nah, the coil shock is just OP - it always feels great from the start, as it doesn't have so much friction :)
lots of my friends tried out my bike being 20-30kg less in weight, and everybody said the shock felt great even though I run 30% sag for my weight.

It's an rxr protect roost guard mate. It's been affectionately referred to as "RoboCop armour". They also owe me a refund for a second one I sent back; so if you buy one, tell them I sent you and tell them to give me my bloody money back.

@dralboy the ohlins suspension def helps for sure my brother runs it on his bike stuff is amazing I don't doubt it I mean really no downside on these bigger bike I use my mega for everything 180mm lyrik ultimate 165mm vivid ultimate

I am sick of people claiming,
- its all about the rider not the bike.
- 8k bike is stupid, not trally a difference to 1k bike
- you can have fun with any bike, no one needs the expensive stuff.
- i am as fast as my friends with their expensive bikes.
I dont want to bash people or kids who cant aford a proper bike, and its a good mindset to be happy about the bike you have.
But as someone who did the trasition from a 1.5k trailbike, to 6k enduro.
i expected a noticable improvement. But i was blown away how much better its was. Like its a different sport.
my skill, condifence and capability just skyrocked.
People who buy bikes as expensive as some car are not stupid, the bikes are worth it. ( not talking about corona inflated prices)

12k is fucking ridiculous, they want people to get into biking and make it their life long hobby but how can people afford to buy good bikes that will last them.
Only people who have ridden DH bikes know. You dont realise how quick they pick up speed. They are glued to the ground for traction. MTB is a cheap sport compared to many others. I remember a bike shop owner said : just put it on finance and ride the wheels off it while you can. You never know whats around your lifes corner.' To many people get sick or have life accidents.
