  • Calum & Hutch go in the search for gaps and creative lines at Scotland's newest trail centre, Tarland Trails 2. The trails have been built incredibly well and in such a way that a expert level riders can have just as much fun on a blue trail as a beginner rider. Go check it out and see what creative lines you can find.

Thanks Pigeon! We loved every second of riding there. Leaving at the end of the weekend was the tough part.

Great video. great riding and superb 'Whistler like' flow trails, but can I ask one thing. Other videos of Tarland, (including parts of this one) show huge barren areas of treeless trails. Are the trees to follow or is there something else going on. I posted about this on Laura Jane Wee Tam MTB channel where they are riding through totally treeless areas, so I wont repeat these here. I assume the issues for this are complex. Other than this great work..... I wish I lived closer....

Epic! I've ridden those trails about 7 or 8 times now and didn't spot any of those lines 🤣

Looks terrifying for anyone over the age of 21 and not super fit! A great addition to Scotland’s bike networks though, well done all those involved …now just to link them all up..

I wouldn’t count anyone over the age of 21 out. This place is great for riders of all ages and abilities. Most of the riders we saw up there are over 30.

Heading up there today, is it easy enough to get round and find all the trails ?

You should find a trail map there and everything on Trailforks too. Enjoy, you’re gonna love it

Looks awesome! So good to have an mtb centre of this calibre near Aberdeen. Definitely on the shortlist for a visit ⛰ 🚴
