Because everything is motion captured with hardly anything hand animated. Mocap action usually overcompensates with it's actors because the transfer to animation rigs glitches out if everything is too subtle plus the actors in the mocap usually overact because the companies don't really care about finding good quality actors if they're just being covered by 3d models.

Casual crybaby Marvel dorks who care WAY too much about role playing their shitty superheroes in a fighting game are a problem. Demanding useless story modes in a historically competitive genre is a problem. And catering to people that will NEVER be pleased is a problem.

Spider-Man's got superpowers; he's strong enough to lift a plane, for example, and he's also very durable. Not to mention his Spider-Sense, which can allow him to dodge almost anything, even from a distance.
In short, if he's not deliberately nerfed, he'd be nigh-unstoppable. Haggar and Frank West shouldn't have been able to touch him, let alone knock him out; if the Hulk and Juggernaught can't punch him unconscious - with head strikes, no less - then these two normal humans would have no chance.
Pete could probably handle that symbiote creature himself, really.
Spider man is strong most definitely but Peter was never knocked out just stunned by the car alarms and that Symbiote is way too mass to fight that’s why it fit better to Chris stalling it as the resident evil series are better with these giants

If you care about GAME PLAY, which is what actually matters in a fighting game, then you'll love it. It's fundamentally great, and buttery smooth. The story and graphics, which do not matter whatsoever in this genre, are sub par.
Basically if you aren't a casual Marvel fan boy, you'll enjoy it. If you only care about role playing Marvel's shitty superheroes, you'll hate it.
