Chris was born in 1974, he was 24 when the Raccoon City Outbreak took place, at this point (2021) he is in his late 40s, and had already spent over two decades fighting bioterrorism and all beings of horror beyond description. He's a jaded and calloused warrior, the voice delivered that in just the right way.

Chris, Leon, Jill, Claire and Ada are in their 40s or 50s. time to have some children.

Jeff Schine is the voice actor for Chris in Resident Evil 8. But overall, his voice is very good.

Chris Redfield, who punched a boulder in an active volcano, who's played an active role in saving the world multiple times, who has gone through hell and back and remained stoic as ever, is on the verge of tears. He couldn't do anything, and you can tell he truly cares about Ethan and his family. So to see the most badass man in existence almost cry...it's just heartbreaking.

The ending also confirms that Chris will stay alive for at least another 15 years (dunno how old Rose is at the end). That's one off the checklist. Now, we all need to be nervous about Leon, Jill and Claire...

Chris was definitely in his prime during RE5, he's doesn't seem to be at that point going forward. He even seems sluggish in village, and to be honest. Even at that point, he still retains quick movement and physical prowess. But he definitely looks his best in Village.

Chris in this game sounds a lot like the guy who voices Captain America in Marvel's Avengers (2020). Interesting enough Captain America and Chris Redfield were voiced by Roger Craig Smith for a few video games and cartoons. So this could be the second time now that Captain America and Chris Redfield shared the same voice actor.

It's clear that Chris intended to have Ethan and Rose taken to secured containment area in case they turned out to be infected. Once there he could explain to Ethan that it wasn't actually Mia and that the real one is likely dead. Whether it would be Chris telling him or someone else Ethan would be trapped and able to grieve and not be able to get involved. Chris didn't know Miranda was still alive and didn't expect Ethan and Rose to and up in the Village. Chris and his team were more than capable of defeating all the bosses in the Village with their weapons, tech, training, and experience.
Man i miss the voice of Chris from RE5 and RE6, it had more feeling.

Old protagonist apparently kills an innocent person in the intro that turns out to be the Big Bad/final boss. After the truth is revealed new and old protagonist team up and save the day.
I love how Village shows Ethan's growth as a fighter. When Chris' guy grabs him from behind in the lab, he immediately flips him over his shoulder as a reflex. But I also like that it stays real enough that he still loses to the operative (which would be crazy if he didn’t). Just efficient "show don't tell" story craft

Yeah I liked him as Chris, but I must say that this one fits Chris better in this game. In 5 and 6 Chris' character had a bad temper (vengeful, screaming a lot and something like that) and RCS' voice was perfect for that, whereas in 8 he seems more calm and collected so this voice fits well for him

Chris’ current voice actor has voiced Javier Garcia, Carlos and now Chris. He is now one of my favorite voice actors there are, even though I didn’t like his Carlos, but it was just for personal reasons.
I miss Rodger Craig Smith. He was idea for Chris.

I WOULD love a dlc showing Chris side of his story, like what he was doing when Ethan was trying to find Rosemay, why Chris wasn't happy with the BSAA, (if someone could explain it, that'd be a great help.) to the point he bumped into Ethan in the factory, or when he gives the BSAA a piece of his mind, which ever.
Imagine if it WAS him at the end picking up Rosemay instead of the other dude.

I love the bit where Chris shoves Ethan out of the way when the fish guy comes at them. It helps to show that Chris cares about his friend and isn't out to hurt him and his family which means something else is going on here.

I feel like the reason why the wine they were drinking was from the castle was it was actually poisoned so that Ethan would drink it. Rather than it being a reused asset, maybe Miranda got Alcina to make a poisoned wine so she can get Rose easily.
