Had clutches in both my 6610s recently and when the tractor was split we found that the seals in the dual power was leaking and letting oil onto the disk causing it to slip, even with a good amount of life still left on the clutch it was soaked in oil
Our 7610 went the same way it turned out the clutch was just worn out hedge cutting and old age of course had to replace the complete clutch and the shaft too as the splines were quite worn new seals too
If you let the clutch slip you will smell it and know for sure but if its the dual power you will not smell clutch plates burning
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I have a suspicious that may be the same problem with mine.

Aye, I guess it's a wearing part so sooner or later it's going to need replacing.
It sounds like bite the bullet and new clutch
Either way,it has to be split.
Sadly you're right.
