You can indeed run 2 filters on that head and it would be a good idea to. I do on my old tractor and when I needed to get the CAV pump resealed after 40 yrs service, the injection pump specialist said that they could tell that it ran 2 filters and they were changed yearly. Good video our 7610 was stopping and messing about it turned out the filter in the tank was blocked oh the joys
I was worried that it might be that, but the lift pump seems to have cured the issue. It's a bit easier to get to!
