Daybell is facing the death penalty for the murders of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and Tylee Ryan, 17, and JJ Vallow, 7, the youngest children of his second wife, Lori Vallow Daybell. He is a self-published author and prosecutors have described him as the leader of a 'Doomsday' cult.

Anybody sick of Prior’s narratives? Why doesn’t Judge do something more than mentioning it each time?
Prior is very slippery. Gets the witnesses agreeing with his false claims. Have to be strong and on the ball to deal with him. The witnesses seem to be caving in front of him. Hopefully his condescending attacks against the witnesses will backfire on him. It would be a monumental disaster if Chad were to be found not guilty.
Prior is SO annoying!!! His questions starting with "Isn't it true.....?" always, without fail, gets an answer beginning with "No"! No matter how he tries to twist people's words or put false meanings behind their words, he isn't successful ever at doing so.and it's so annoying.
There are times listening to Prior. I think he should be found guilty in contempt for harassment.
I am actually not sick of it......Lori should have received the death penalty and Chad should receive the death penalty, but this man has a job to do and he does not have a lot to work with....so I get it. I enjoyed it immensely when he was giving Melanie Gibb a rough time.....she is guilty too and should be punished. She could have saved the kids if she had acted sooner.....she is a wack job too. Also Lori's niece...guilty....should be charged and punished. All of these people were insturmental in the death of these innocent people. FACTS

I just got back from vacation. If someone asks me 4 years from now what day I went for pizza, and who made lunch on a Saturday, and what clothes someone was wearing on a Tuesday, my answer would be, “I don’t remember “ what is the defense trying to do, other than take the focus off his client?
Trying to show doubt in jurors mind, I think he is working very very hard for his client.
He's working hard on trying to shift blame. Only thing I agree with is Lori was in charge. Why would they think a person with a personality of a rock can seduce women? He tried his hardest to tell her what she wanted to hear, he even killed his wife for her. Not to mention what he did to the children. Ppl in our court system are idiots

He can bully all he wants, but nothing will help the fact that 2 murdered children was found in Chads backyard..in the family pet cemetery. And the police interview after chads arrest where all chad was concerned about was money. And making sure lori continued to get her commissary monies
You know, I’ve never heard any mentions of Chad’s children being dark. I’m glad they’re safe, but I just found that to be interesting. Chad made sure he kept his children safe.

There was no financial benefit to Chad for any of his adult children to die.

Defense tried today, he is so argumentative but thats his strategy I guess. Prosecution did a good job today of showing they had a plan to be together.
These jurors most be in such disbelief. I can imagine them questioning what’s coming into their ears. Looney Toons.
Of course Prior and Chad want to discredit Melanie, she blew up Lori's story that jjj was with Melanie.. that pivotal discovery amped up the search for jj and tylee.. that most likely pissed off Chad and Lori and thsy realized Melanie wasnt going to lie for them.
I wish the judge would have let the text messages be read aloud. It's impossible to read them on the screen with this zoom call format.

I watched live on court tv not through TH-cam but like through the roku channel and the speakers or what you may call them I don't want to down play there professions but they read the texts out loud while the court gave the jury time to read

Agree with everyone that this insanity has to be brought together next week BIG TIME, WITH A BANG, towards Chads COMPLETE COMPLIANCE in these murders.
Melanie Gibb has finally grasped the insanity of her own beliefs. She's mortified to have to have her own stupidity, AGAIN be in display.
AND PRYOR...I would worry if I were Chad at the fact that his own lawyer tried to back out of this case just weeks ago and probably hates Chad bc he's not getting paid a dime anymore.
Secondly, How can such an educated man such as Pryor, not realize how incredibly unlikeable he is to not just the judge but to these ordinary people on the jury, who he could have tried to sway by being upright, respectable and pleasant. But he's gone out of his way to make himself hated from day 1.
LET'S JUST ALL PRAY THAT THIS IS PULLED TOGETHER SO THAT CHAD IS HATED EVEN MORE THAN HIS LAWYER.
@aimeefriedman822 Chads' attorney owns all of chads' properties.
Pryor took the steps he needed to, to be able to get additional resources.
Pryor does get paid through the state because he brought fourth motions that Chad could not afford his expenses.
The judge then granted Pryor to receive additional resources so he is able to provide a service.
Pryor never quit, he was bringing updated information to the judge.The updated information was to inform the judge that Chad could not pay.
It is called court processes.

That phone call was extremely weird. That testimony was extremely weird. So there was a call made by Melanie gibb where is she basically gives notation that she feels in her gut that Lori had done something wrong in that phone call she basically calls Lori out using scriptures . ThenMelanie lies to the cops about JJ whereabouts were, why? She got text messages in her hand that she supposedly texted about dark and light sprits and she dose not recall, what? Or the fact that she was asked by the lawyer, if the light and dark she spoke about or taught was different from the light and dark chad and Lori taught and she says “I think so”, what you don’t know? Common this is Lori‘s best friend you what us to believe that her and Lori had nothing in common. Yeah, I’m not buying it.

That Chad Daybell is a complete idiot! He made up all this nonsense and murder just so he could get Lori to himself. You notice none of his kids were dark. It is so obviously apparent that only the people who were in his way of achieving what he wanted was considered to be conveniently dark. Both Lori and Chad deserve to go to prison for the rest of their lives, or receive the death penalty! I feel sorry for anyone who they considered to be in their way to achieve what they wanted. Does Prior have anybody to assist him in this case?
Nope...he was told to obtain someone "death penalty" certified, but claimed he "couldn't" do so because no one wanted to be associated with the case. It's the same reason, partially, that he tried to get off the case just weeks ago (that and the fact that he would no longer be getting paid a red cent.)
@@Indiartworks Yeah, I don't know what he wanted to do or what he was hoping for. But I really feel sorry for him because I think he was just trying to do the best work he could to save his client and there is literally nothing he can do. Chad's case is simply too lost at this point. I think he simply wanted to give Chad more time by quitting the case, but honestly it's not going to work. He's going to lose. They will find him guilty.

Melanie G. witnesses Alex carrying "sleeping" J.J. into the house. Was this 7yrs old carried in with his head on the adult shoulder, or held like deadweight across both forearms?

It’s more for the jury. Everyone is drinking water, eating lunch, etc. it’s probably warm in there with the Sun coming in the windows.
It’s his courtroom! He’s a fantastic judge IMO. Again, the Judge allowing live streaming of these trials. He isn’t doing it for your personal enjoyment! I’m grateful that we have audio and video unlike the Lori Daybell trial
