Such a special week having that car and the Evolve team here in the shop. We are stoked on how this project is coming together, and cant wait to see it in final form at SEMA! Let us know when you'll be back with the next project 😁
Thanks again for all your hospitality and expertise! Definitely going to miss having a warehouse full of parts back home 😂 Let’s get SEMA done then see what we can cook up next 🤔🙏🏻
Trust us the FCP team kept pointing out things they’ll improve after SEMA, but like Gareth said it’s all visual - Subframe is structurally sound and actually quite good for a U.K. car.
Imran always makes me jealous with his creativeness, he has the most amazing visions for his cars and carries them through. He’s put a P65 in a road car and has improved every aspect of the car, this is the baddest BMW on the net right now.
It's been awesome to watch you and your team grow over the years. I aspire to join you in this realm soon. All the best as you continue to live out your dreams, brother. I'll also look forward to all the bespoke creations you guys will continue to cook up.
This car is truly something special. It looks absolutely gorgeous, and with a P65 V8 in one of the funnest chassis of the last two decades.. you know its gotta be a pure joy to drive.
I'm from south africa and we love BMW as much as Imraan does he just takes his builds to another level with such class I love it ❤ keep up the amazing builds !
I broke a 16 ton and 20 ton press trying to get those rear wheel bearings out of my e90 m3. It took a 24 ton press with a lot of heat and ended up bending the steel plates before they finally came out. Cars been in California it’s whole life as well. Replacing the subframe bushings was a walk in the park though
I believe it. It doesn't help that these axle shafts are basically an interference fit brand new. I have a puller just to draw the axle into the wheel hub. Factor in some wear, exposure to the elements, galvanic corrosion, and time you've got a bond that's almost stronger than welds.
Beautiful build with FCP Euro. Been watching their builds for a couple of years now, and their work is outstanding. Maybe 15mm back and 10mm front on wheel spacers though. Cheers Imran.
I was wondering why you were swapping out the nitrons, but it all makes sense for all out UK road and track mannerisms, given that you've helped developed the handling package. Goes to show that uber trick stuff from the guys in Witney might not be wise if you're not fully exploiting the chassis. Great build quality on their kit, mind. Had a few on my motorbikes
Awesome build! I’m wondering if these billet subframe mounts don’t increase the NVH by quite a bit? And the thrust arm monoball? Been eyeballing these ones for my e63. I really like this green btw, would be great if the new calipers would match again! And silver wheels would look even better imho, make them pop! Great work, inspiring!
incredible build man!! one thing IMO that is detracting from the look is those darn headlight washers lol....delete those things....i know that might require a new bumper but you really should bro. seriously. another thing ? is there any company building ready made harnesses that go from e92 - E82 specifically for this swap ? thanks
Its a shame that the subframe had not been powder coated or cerakoted as it was off!!!! But Unfortunately when time is short you have to skip something
Could you kindly bring it by the Nurburgring on the way back to the UK for Misha Charoudin to perhaps take it for a quick spin :p. Jokes aside, please? lol
A greet build project but that exhaust is not quite right, too snarly, as an owner of many past M cars and going through many $$$ on different configurations may I recommend adding a small resonator in that mid section. God speed.
Could have just sprayed the rusty subframe with a rattle can at minimum just to make it look a bit better?? All those beautiful parts then not taking ten minutes to do that is just silly in my opinion my ocd will never be able to do that……
Should have painted the calipers gold or another contrasting colour NOT black. 14:27 should have wire-wheeled and cleaned the rear subframe and painted it black before installing all the new parts it looks shit all rusted and dirty.
I’m Baffled why a U.K company went all the way to the USA when you got loads independent bwm specialists in the U.K. that could do all this work and still be ££££ in pocket Shipping costs.
@@badmotherdude150 we could have done all the work ourselves. The car is going to SEMA so it's a good chance to work with our friends and industry partners while the car is in the USA.
@EvolveAutomotive seems you never remember the positive comments then because there's been plenty. However you only remember the negative. That's the human traits we all have. Whether you call them positive or negative it's me been honest. Some of your ideas absolutely boggle the mind

What's that brake took you use to redo rear lines?
That rear subframe is calling out for a dry ice blast

The previous owner really does love the colour green 😂, he even sprayed the diff housing to match the bodywork.
She really did love the colour!
The craziest BMW build on the web right now. I want to drive it BADDDLLLY
Wow, amazing. Great job FCP!
Gareth and Alex knocked it out of the park! Great work guys!

Wow, fantastic build!
Love this build. Looking forward to the next episodes.
Man I love the drive to FCP!! Right up the highway from me
SOUNDS GLORIOUS!
Car looks and sounds amazing Imran absolutely stunning build 👍🇬🇧👍🇬🇧
Evolve and FCP Euro together! I'm dreaming
Beautiful colour. Another great video. Great tunes too. You guys are smashing the balls out the park. ⚾️💥⚾️💥⚾️
Music during the timelapse 👌
The subframe cradle they used looked alot better than using some wooden pallets too drop the subframe onto😂
The lift table was absolute money, such a nice setup for doing this job with the adjustable perches!
All German Auto table, must have if you want to drop an engine or a rear subframe.
What an insane build, sounds epic.
Woh. That was complex. Good work!
+1 on the rear trailing arms ball-joint conversion. This greatly helped me with rear bump steer when hitting potholes.

Pretty damn cool! 🏁👍🍻
Wow fcp shop looks like a decent place to work.
Sounds awesome/// cant wait to see it in person at the SEMA perview party 😊🎉
Love this project

Agree on spacers but there’s new wheels coming in the next episode!
@@EvolveAutomotive Nice one man.
Fantastic video, loved it.
Cracking car. If I could I would love a sorted E34 M635 CSi with the S65 dropped in
Sounds Amazing!!
Love the 1M 💚
Should a Powdercoat the subframe or replaced it
The car looks unique with the UK number plate in the States.
Good stuff!!
Man, I need an e90 M3!! Between the Japan Red e92, the blue high mileage e92 and this 1M, I’d love to do a lot of the upgrades showcased 💯💯💯
Can’t wait to hear this car when it puts the power down.
Same! But until we can get the car properly dyno tuned we’ll have to wait very impatiently 😂
Fabulous build 👌🏻
awesome build !
dam she might be my fav now no disrespect to the m2
Proper Imran !! 💜
Awesome 🙏🫵
sounds mega Mash'Allah
That is nice 👌🏾👌🏾
Such an epic build. I'm currently building an e36 m3 2door with a N54 but it doesn't come close to this build
Still pretty cool! Best of luck with the project 🙏🏻
Definitely would’ve made some time to paint that subframe in the rear!!
Sadly to do properly it just extends the job too long for the tight timeframe we have - In the future we'd love to though.
Will you guys dyno that setup to quantify difference between S65 and P65?
We will, just running out of time to get the car ready for SEMA
@Imran - can you please work with Bilstein to develop some F10 M5 adaptive Bilstein shocks?
What build!!

Definitely just specced completely wrong for road use

We’ve noticed no real NVH increase on our Japan Red E92 M3 with the same setup
Lots of people remove the backing plate for extra cooling. Not sure why the backing plate was installed?
wow
Ill try again without a link! Is it Biomorphic Green as used by MGR? Looks great BTW.
It’s Java Green
incredible build man!! one thing IMO that is detracting from the look is those darn headlight washers lol....delete those things....i know that might require a new bumper but you really should bro. seriously. another thing ? is there any company building ready made harnesses that go from e92 - E82 specifically for this swap ? thanks
Keep watching the build series I think you’ll be happy 😉
@ thanks, I’ll be staying tuned brother ! 😎
Rest of the series is already out :)
This V8 swap has my mind thinking all kinds of ideas...how about take the V12 out of the 7 series and put it in an M8!!
Why would you want that? it makes less power and weighs more. I’m assuming you mean the engine out of the M760i since you said M8.
Is this a genuine 1M from factory?
Genuine colour from factory?
It’s an awesome looking car and build 💯
No, it’s a conversion built from BMW parts - One 1M did come from the factory in Java Green though!
Its a shame that the subframe had not been powder coated or cerakoted as it was off!!!! But Unfortunately when time is short you have to skip something
The car is going to come back to use at some point in 2025 and then we'll have all the time in the world to give it some extra love. 😉
I understand that the subframe is good but why just did not repainted it to look fresh ?
Time constraints, that adds at least a day to the process to do correctly if not 2.
How did you get the P65 engine?
We’re very lucky to be good friends with Studie AG!
Whats the song starting at 9:54?
Heya, do you have a link to those brake dust shields? I need them!!
Hit up FCP Euro!
@@EvolveAutomotive I’m trying, but the search is not yielding any results. @fcpeuro can you help?
Believe it’s a first prototype, drop them an email
I hate to think how much a job like this cost, including the shipping to the states! 🤣😂
Could you kindly bring it by the Nurburgring on the way back to the UK for Misha Charoudin to perhaps take it for a quick spin :p. Jokes aside, please? lol
I’m sure it will find its way over to Europe next year 😇
@@EvolveAutomotive Much appreciated, it would be a rare treat to see a P65 powered properly built machine at full song!
Bro y'all rly bolt up all new arms to that rusty subframe
We did, and mention why.
This is the car bmw should have made
they could have atleast clean and sprayed the subframe
That is how that car should have came from BMW
A greet build project but that exhaust is not quite right, too snarly, as an owner of many past M cars and going through many $$$ on different configurations may I recommend adding a small resonator in that mid section. God speed.

SEMA car?? It's got more rust underneath than the Titanic
You should watch a video on the current condition of the titanic, it’s really interesting.
Should have painted the calipers gold or another contrasting colour NOT black.

It would be great to see this on the Nordschleife.. and probably get banned after one lap for breaking noise limits.
P65 swap because normal s65 is for the noobs👶🏻
Music ruined it
The music is bloody awful
Who thought this car was a good idea? Sack them.
Good to see you back Dale with yet more negative comments 👋🏻

Great work tho👌
Sounds sweet as fcuk tho🔥👌
@@darrenboston342 very short on time
Absolutely amazing😍
Love your vids.. got a question.. Why is this BM called a 1M and not a M1 like all other M cars.. M3 M4 etc??
BMW never called it an M1 to respect the original M1’s name
@@EvolveAutomotiveahh ok.. M1 was a great car makes sense.. thank you.. Enjoy your time in the US.. hoping to see a video from SEMA..
