My husband and I made 6 of these last year (from Grant's original blowgun video) for Christmas gifts. They do indeed work perfectly with mini marshmallows as well as standard nerf darts.
Pro tip: You can easily sight in the laser by just staring through the barrel (like a telescope) and aligning the laser dot to be in the center.

I would make mine to be a paint ball blow gun. I designed mine without a laser pointer and used gumballs as projectiles. But either way, I will make a blow gun using simple products and finding paintballs

For one of your builds you could attach a mini vacume chamber to the blow gun and make it more powerful when the pressure is released!!!!!

SO EXCITED
As a blowgun shooter, better make sure that two sections of PVC pipes are cut from the same pipe! Different pipes connected can have different variations inside the bore, and a cone can be jammed in there if the size is not correct. Blowgun is a precision instrument.
I made something like this YEARS ago using only 3 items ... (1) 30" long piece of metal conduit or pvc pipe (2) 6 or 8 penny nails (3) masking or duct tape for the fletching. Just for fun we used my air compressor @ 120psi ... It would "drive" the dart thru a phone book. Oh yeah, assembly time was less than 5 minutes.

A 36 inch piece of .40c copper tubing, a cheap Lazer pointer,some gorilla tape to attach Lazer pointer,and .40c darts from Amazon,works great too,and cheaper.

I SAWED THIS KIT IN HALF! And repaired it using only Flex Tape.

You can also bore sight it at a known distance.
Mark out 10m and set the blow dart in a vice loosely. Look down the barrel until the target is on the middle of the bore (or barrel) sight. Tighten the vice and aim the laser at the target. Shoot your first shot then adjust the aim to meet the laser, rinse and repeat till the dart lands on the laser.
Suggestion: Allow the customer to customize the contents of the kit...Example:if the customer already Glue gun....

the laser is also about the distance. for long distance (straight shot) you need to adjust only a little bit. but on short distance you need to adjust it a lot downwards . try to adjust the laser to the distance you'll be firing from.

I had a thought about a fun liquid nitrogen experiment: which different container/cup: solo cups, vacuum insulated cups (yeti), styrofoam cups, plastic tumblers etc, holds liquid nitrogen colder longee

You can use duct tape when you run out if paper. I have found that duct tape is more durable and water proof. All you do is make your cone with the stick side out, then take another piece to cover the exposed stickiness.

It's the time it's saving you from having to figure out what exact pieces to acquire and going to get them. There are literally hundreds of pieces/types of PVC in hardware stores. Plus this comes with easy to follow directions. Great for kids for Christmas as it's easy for parents to order for their 12 year old. And the fact that you literally need nothing else (basically) - paying for CONVENIENCE.
I'd still buy parts separately for like under $10, but I can drive.

What if you try to do things with whiped cream in a can. Try to vacuum seel it and since it is fluffy there might be a lot of bubbles. You can try and freeze some in liquid nitrogen or see it it is flameable. Or do other things thar would be cool, like making it a molding material then freesing it to make a edable what ever.

I know this is a little late but all you have to do is look through the barrel and the laser pointer should be in the middle of the barrel
I saw this video and they took a hot coal and put it in peanut butter. Then froze it for 24 hours, the next day the put it in warm water and cleaned it and out comes a crystal. I would think it’s fake. Will you try it out?
