Shooting a blowgun was the most intuitive weapon I've ever picked up. Took me about 15 minutes playing around with it to realize I didn't need to aim just stare at the target and it lines right up Idk if it's because of placement over the mouth but it's mind-blowing how easy these are to use.
When I got mine, I spent a solid 6 hours drilling holes and stacking darts. The first time I hit one dart with another I thought it was crazy and out of place but then after the 15 or 16th time of it happening, it becomes kind of annoying because it wrecks all your cups lol.
I thought the same thing and “intuitive” was the exact word I used when describing the ease of shooting one of these to someone else as well. It’s really amazing how easy it is.

Thanks Tim for your blowgun advice. I have the Cold Steel blowgun, but have been looking at your SlockMaster Viper. I love shooting the blowgun, but in our state of Arizona they are illegal to hunt with. Went to Alaska last summer, but Canada totally outlaws them. So did not get to slock any grouse, ptarmigan, pine squirrels or snowshoe rabbits. Appreciate your videos!

I love my blow dart gun and one thing I learned that I do is when my dart is just in that resting position so it don’t slide out or in when I’m ready to shoot I use my tongue to help push the dart in an ad a slight suction in an then blow out the dart just to add a tip that I do great video 😊

That was good advice about slowly drawling air back Tim thanks for the tip . I always will wait until the last second and use my finger to push the end thru and take the shot while the dart is sliding down the barrel so that’s good to know . I bought a Viper well over a year ago. Had that question about dart's not fitting the tube. Set 2 emails with pictures showing the gap around the cup in the tube. Never got any replies. So I fixed it. I took some clear HD gorilla tape, has a slick finish, made a wrap around end of the cup about a 1/4 to 3/8" deep. Then trimmed to fit the end of the cup with a razor. No more slide out and they come out like a bullet ! Some cups will take 2 wraps.
Ive noticed in some of your slow mo shots with the blowgun that the darts fly slighlty crooked. i'm wondering if there is a way to icrease f.o.c for better flight. kinda like you would with arrows. i'm 13 and love blowgun hunting. thanks for all the great stuff you do!

How long will the Black Mamba be? I have two of your blowguns and all 7 of my kids (5 girls, 2 boys)have their own. We play Tic-Tac-Toe with balloons. The kids love popping balloons and it provides instant feedback to train their shooting technique and keep them interested. Great family fun! My 13 year old daughter is absolutely deadly. She’s ready to slock something.

That big bore blow gun is extremely lethal is used correctly. As a hunter, you owe it to the game you hunt to use darts of the highest quality and practice until proficient.
Just need to master the slingshot now, big following in England with slingshots, through the forks shoot like a bow so my guess is you will already be deadly

I hunt with my blowgun... I bought it from you. I have become pretty good at it, and the darts are deadly. Can I make a suggestion... Sell a Metal Detector so when we lose a dart, we can find it from a safety perspective.
I find it easiest to NOT fight the "double vision." If you let the double-vision happen and put the target somewhere in the middle of the two tips of the barrel, it centers it left-to-right pretty well. Elevation becomes a practice, but left-to-right becomes easy
I have the big bore and the fish hawk and love them. I like the fish hawk in back yard just because you dont loose the darts. In the video Tims prototype must be 6ft long I assume. Great video!
Unfortunately I can't buy one as I am in Canada but I guarantee I can make one, what are your inside dimensions. So when I build my carbon fiber shafts I can order your darts to fit the shaft size that works best for me. Also have a idea how accelerate your exhale to increase velocity to dart
What I do to keep my dart in the barrel while pointing down is a little chunk of scotch tape stuck to the barrel then folded into the barrel then put the mouth piece on works great 👍 hope that helps people

Now my dart gun from you has like two stages in the mouth piece and there is two rings in there first one holds the dart in there for walking and whatever and the second ring in there holds it enough to aim down and even walk around without it falling out or it can't be sucked back in, but it takes a nice puff of air to shoot it nothing that will throw your aim off. I'm getting a out 260fps
