It's time to restore these dull headlights. UV rays from the sun causes this oxidation which gives that yellow tint to the housing and reduces nighttime visibility. It also makes a vehicle look old and junkie, join us as we try several methods to see which one comes out on top!

"Deep Woods Off" mosquito repellent spray works the best.

Supposedly it does work at clearing up headlights, but it’s not recommended because it causes them to look worse. It melts the UV coating and the plastic underneath and causes some pretty nasty damage. It’s like the landlord special but for flipping a car on marketplace lmao.

@@GarageMatters_vroom making a video about it would be informative, just make sure they’re junk headlights. Try restoring them after see if they hold up.

You should let the toothpaste dry first. Once it dries, rub the surface with a wet flannel cloth.
