Early Bird Gets the Worm Getting up early for a day on the water is always better than heading to the office. We were greeted by some birds, got some bait, and headed off looking for surface activity. Certain times of the year migratory fish will head into the bay and we were just looking for anything to get our lines tight. Schools of bonita were busting bait on the surface and we took advantage of the amazing top water bite until our arms fell off. A chart plotter that can also display side and down imaging helps narrow down where fish could be located. Never knew snook would wonder away from the mangroves as we caught one on the local reef. Enjoy this 55 minute fishing trip!
