    I got a bone bruise in my right talus bone. I just started running slowly this summer after 5-6 years of hell. And to this day it still affects me… :(

      @rasmusprippetersen9855 I'm really sorry to hear that your bone bruise is still affecting you, especially after working so hard to get back into running. Bone bruises can take a long time to heal fully, and it's important to listen to your body to avoid further injury. Gradually easing back into activity and possibly consulting a physical therapist could help manage the pain and support your recovery. Stay patient with yourself-progress might be slow, but you're moving in the right direction.

      I'm sorry to hear you are still suffering pain, do you mind explaining how you started off healing your injury to start with? I have what you have described, it has been 5 months of trying to heal and not give up for me, physio keep telling me to take it slow but it feels like a lifetime already. I am glad you are able to run now though that's amazing! One day I will!

      @@wonderingelf-p6x I started 2 months with a "boot" and 3 months with crutches half a year after the injury. The first year I could neither shop nor sleep at night. then I tried everything possible with a physiotherapist who put electrodes in the foot. Here I also had my foot pulled to get the circulation going. I have also tried sports massage and suction cups as well as needles in the skin. Today I can run slowly, but without too much elevation. My orthopedist would prefer not to operate then, as it could make it much worse.

      @@rasmusprippetersen9855 wow that sounds like alot of effort and literally sweat and tears, well done for being strong enough to go on though my hat comes off to you :) can I ask what pulling is? I ordered a vibrating foot massager to stimulate the blood flow but I think it did more harm than good as woke up yesterday with a balloon for a foot with some bruising. My feet are really cold especially where at the toes. I can totally sympathise with the sleeping aspect as I am forgetting to remember what rest actually is at night. Tired of being tired and sick of taking painkillers, now it's getting colder I have noticed alot more than the past few months.

    Good video, I don’t suppose you know the typical healing time in the foot?

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @jacksothcott6606 Thanks for the feedback! Healing time for foot injuries can vary widely depending on the type and severity of the injury. For minor sprains or strains, it typically takes about 1 to 3 weeks. More severe injuries, like fractures, can take 6 to 8 weeks or longer to heal. Always consult with a healthcare provider for the most accurate assessment based on the specific injury!

    If theres no blue black, could it be a bone bruise? Or do i have a fracture

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @littlemschat1052 If there’s no visible bruising (blue or black) but you're experiencing pain and swelling in the area, it could potentially be a bone bruise or even a mild fracture. Bone bruises can occur without significant discoloration, while fractures might present with varying symptoms. The best course of action is to consult a healthcare professional who can evaluate your symptoms and possibly order imaging, like an X-ray, to determine the extent of the injury. It’s always better to be cautious when it comes to bone injuries!

    Shined a flash light through my toes . The other toes I can see through , yet the stubbed toe is the dark one . Perhaps bone bruised ?

      It sounds like you may have a bone bruise in your stubbed toe, as indicated by the lack of translucency compared to the other toes. Please consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis. ❤️
