  • Sharp body creases and rakish lines likely sculpted to incite imagery of wind tunnel testing give the updated 2018 Cadillac XTS a more distinctive appearance and better tie the car to the rest of the company’s lineup

    Never trust a guy wearing a disquise while doing a review. I have this car in the luxury level it's awesome!

    I have to disagree with the review of this car. My oldest son bought a 2018 xts, and my youngest son bought a 2013 xts. I've driven both cars, and ridden in both cars. They are comfortable, taut, easy to be in, decent performers, decent economy, and just function well. You can compare them all day to bmw and mercedes and even tesla, even tho tesla being compared to ice cars isn't really a good comparison. For the price, it's a logical choice to pick the Cadillac just in dollars and cents. The technology in the car is more than adequate for most drivers, and the sheer reliability and drivability that this car has makes it an easy choice.

    I'm look at this 2017/2018 xts, volvo s60, or audi a3. I know they are all extremely different in their own ways. lol Not sure why people look down on cadillacs. I'm just wondering at their reliability in the long run.

    Cadillac CUE works just fine now Cadillac has made the processing a lot faster. My mom owns a 2017 Platinum Escalade she hasn’t had a single complaint on it okay maybe that’s a lie the 1st two weeks she wasn’t sure of it but now she loves it!! Car reviewers don’t CUE a fair shot with the short time they have with the car!!

      cue is easy to use, got a 16 CT6 and no issues....agreed needs to use it for a while..it has a learning curve, or use the controls on the wheel

      Scott Walper Yean it’s not that bad my 75 year old grandma likes her cue system in her ATS and she doesn’t even have a smart phone!!! She still uses a flip phone!!!! So cue is not a bad system it’s not the very best but it is not terrible the way these reviewers make it out to be!

    And who ever drives a German car does so because they want to and nothing German cars can do that the Cadillac XTS can't do and it's still CHEAPER than them all that's food for thought!!

    Why do you start out your review complaining about the car?!! That's stupidity..... This is not how you give a proper review of a car. If you're going to do a review about the vehicle, do it without complaining.

    The other Cadillac sedans look exactly like this. Not sure what you mean by having unique styling

    • @CMCNestT
      @CMCNestT 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      He means non-Cadillacs don't have similar styling similar to Cadillac. Most cars are bland and generic. You can only tell them apart by the badge. You can spot a Cadillac a mile away.

      This particular model more resembles an Impala, because...that’s what it is. I have two Cadillacs, this model being one and it’s the most unique of the line.

    What did this guy say about the car that makes any sense? Is this newspaper for real? I mean you put an idiot in charge of reviewing a product and this is what you get....he doesn't know what the styling, size, performance, ergonomics, say about why people would want to own a Cadillac. An absolute and total waste of 5 minutes of my life.

      The reviewer must have liked this XTS to some degree… after all, he chose a pair of pants that match. 😂

    *Cadillac should have made their basic safety system the Driver Awareness Package STANDARD on any XTS. To charge this much for a luxury vehicle and then ask me for another $1600 for safety features standard on a Genesis is outrageous. All that leather and wood won't help you like those safety features can, and it says a lot about how Cadillac feels towards their customers to charge them for features that may save their lives yet are standard on other cars. No thanks.* 🖕😠👎

    You answered your own question regarding why Cadillac moved to NY. Exactly for the reason that more people are driving the German brands there. Cadillac wants to change peoples minds. They are making inroads but have work to do. Also, your comment about Cadillac not looking like everything else is pretty lame. Do BMW's, Mercs, Audi's and many others look like everything else?
