    Smart system - still room for improvement: if you run your daisy-chain TWICE around the tree you don't need to tighten it, it will tighten itself and you don't have to struggle as much, if some hight adjustment is needed.
    Good luck for your hunting

    Do you have a video for building your saddle hunting stand?

    • @thefrugalsportsman
      @thefrugalsportsman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are talking about the saddle I am wearing in the video it is a fleece saddle that I made and I'll be doing a video on that shortly. The treestand is a Loc-On treestand I bought for $10 and refurbished and I also have a video coming out shortly on that as well. I have a video on how I built my own climbing sticks here is the link to that video: th-cam.com/video/Ormb180t83k/w-d-xo.html I hope the video was helpful to you and you might want to consider subscribing and clicking the bell so you will know about those up coming videos as soon as they get posted. Thanks so much for watching and God bless!

    trying to see your lineman's belt; looks self made. Can you describe it?

    • @thefrugalsportsman

      I use a HandAcc climbing harness in conjunction with WesSpur Predator 11.4mm climbing rope for my lineman line. The harness come with both a front attachment point for securing or repelling and two lineman rings one on each side for running your lineman belt line. The harness is rated for 25kn breaking strength (5620 pounds) and only cost around $35, the rope is rated for 6000 pounds. I switched to using a climbing harness because if I do fall the rope and all connections are in front of me and I would be suspended facing the tree seated normally. Tree stand harnesses have your connecting point on the back so if you do fall you are suspended facing many times away from the tree and can't disconnect the support rope because it is above you. Also with the harness I taped the lineman rings with soft camo tape to kill the shine and to quiet any carabiner noise. Here is a link to the harness: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P6CK7JW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I hope that helps some. Thanks so much for watching and may God bless you!

      Yeah that's the way I've always pronounced it since I was a young lad and guess it stuck! Thanks for watching and may God bless you!
