Wonder if this would be strong enough to hold a rifle? My only doubt is the hook slipping

I’m a plumber and we have pvc j hangers that are plastic that probably would work as good as the hangers you used and there cheaper like $0.70 a piece.

Yeah anything small and lightweight would work. These were $8 for 5 i believe.
