Haven't even watched it in full yet and can already tell you I love it. Having a mix of shorter "main" episodes and a longer, grindy video is perfect. It's nice putting on a long video while I'm multitasking! Thank you for the content

two tips: 1: you can cook without (expensive) fuel, just use the field cooking kit next to a burning campfire, there's a loadscreen tip that says so, works. 2: don't forgo weapon or outfit upgrades for lack of cash. Upgrade packs are easy to craft in Gamma, you'll have most of the ingredients, technitians have the rest. The main point is that upgrading this way removes any scaling in prices, i.e. more high-end equipment having much pricier upgrades. Makes it much more viable to upgrade even "transitional" kit. Also: not sure if you'd want to, but even as military you could become neutral/fiendly to Clear Sky and Free Stalkers by doing enough quests for them in Rostock. CS is I think a good idea, as it's a source for NATO-equipment (think LPVO-scopes, upgrade kits ect). Loners just means less people that just might hose you down rounding a corner.
5:38 Funny thing about the eotech reticle blooming out under night vision, one of the things that the eotech optics are known for in the real world is excellent performance with night vision
Hey, just a quick tip (that might be useful). You might have noticed that sometimes when you loot guns and even though they are in bad condition, some of those are upgraded (a shotgun on 33:00). They have a white arrow in a green square in top left corner of a weapon in your inventory. If you disassemble these weapons you might sometimes get an upgrade from it so it is worth to disassemble upgraded weapons in bad condition.
I've litterally taken apart so many guns on my save I no longer need to loot gun parts. Lol I can just fix anything.. almost feels like it's time for a new game
I could watch you play the stalker games and mods for HOURS, so much fun! Don't forget that Gamma comes with a custom keybind for switching on/off and also in between scopes, its a small QOL feature when using NVGs! The Vaiga only has bright holos, so when lab raiding you have to use the iron sights, but I usually get hugged by some creature the second I open my inventory to switch my scopes off :(
You dont have to open inventory to remove and reattach scope in gamma. Theres a shortcut key for it by default i think its the keypad + sign. Unless you want to change to diffrent scope. Yea still need to open inventory.

Love the video! I would suggest you put some ballistic plates and spend the 22k to get 5% more ballistic protection on the armor, you had some close calls and that were just some rookie loners! Keep the episodes coming!
Be careful of Burers. I recently found out that they can "throw" fire and lightning at you. Basically similar to what a (pyro)geist can do at close range - they just do it at medium range. You get a little bit of a warning as the area around you will start to heat up/crackle. Big WTF moment, though it wasn't an ironman run.
Really enjoyed this. But the naming convention was a bit confusing, only after starting the video I understood what it was about. It probably should be called ep 5.5 if you wanted to keep it as extra, but for me it was just as good as the others so I would just call it ep6. Going on a trip, getting distracted then chancing your plans is what I like about Stalker. I think these moments are even more intresting then just doing story quests.
Ahahh I'm not playing GAMMA anymore, this run was finished 2 months ago, I'm just editing the footage now. I'm actually working on the next "classic mod review" as we speak, it just takes a lot of time :)
Comrade breeki. Could you sometimes translate what the soladatens are saying. Im still learning the russian alphabet. Really like the videos, just take your time and go slow, no need rush. The other channels related to stalker are mostly westener that dont even put in the work to edit. Its very cringy and boring to watch them. We want the eastern front playstyle. The brave patient scavenger armed with his guts wits and his mighty mosin nagant with .45 ump. Not the westener who cowers in fear without his plastic m4's min maxing boring playstyle, all they are after are results.. boring. And no i do not support the russian government for the war, i support the brave infantry man out there who follows their command to the letter, hungry shivering, but still fighting for their respective homelands, be they ukranian or russian.
I don't speak Russian unfortunately! There's some channels where you can see different translations side to side and its very interesting (I remember watching a video about what the zombified stalkers said, this one stuck with me)

A shame that people have so short attention span nowadays, because this length and type of content is the real deal.
Love this type of content, can just throw it and watch through it while eating or drawing and still get some STALKER satisfaction.
