For those wondering walking / moving very slowly is a way to not get spotted by poltergeists and sneak to them into the Lab, but it's a strategy I never tried yet xD
I don’t know how you’re doing it but your videos are a blast to watch. You’re obviously very knowledgeable about the game, but it’s not just that. Your voice is very nice to listen to, there’s a nice cadence to it and your accent is discernable but doesn’t make it hard to understand what you’re saying. I also really like your personality, and I think it’s very fitting for STALKER universe. You’re very observant, thorough, calm and calculating, which are all traits a real stalker would have to succeed. Cheers for being the way you are.
Your channel not only introduced me to stalker, but it also reintroduced me to fps games after nearly a decade of not playing them. The controls are really tough for me because there's so many buttons to remember, but I'm having fun trying to get through Shadow of Chernobyl. Thanks for the content. PS you have a really relaxing voice :)
@@LiQuiD524 I've been playing like a headless chicken I must admit lol. I've literally never played an fps with mouse and keyboard so I wouldn't know if it's me or the game tbh.

A little suggestion: as you may have noticed during the fight with the pseudogiant, your companions' weapons jam surprisingly often. This is because the NPC's weapons wear out the same as the player's. If you want companions to use their full potential while helping you, and you don't want them to die in some stupid way from frequently jamming their weapons during combat, it might be a good idea to repair some weapons for them, put them in their inventory, and repair them from time to time.
Impact is for objects thrown at you and bullets that can't pierce armour. You can just lure poltergeists to stairway, where there is only light stuff to throw. It only takes about 1-2 minutes of waiting.
After hundreds of hours on GAMMA, only found out recently that you can equip a gun in the melee slot, and you don't actually loose the benefits of your knife as long as it's in your backpack. Skinning mutants isn't influenced at all and melee attacks are still fine if you have a quick key bind for it (which you do and use). Only downside, if you can call it that, is you actually have to equip the knife if you want to skin crows. You can also have a gun in your vision slot, but I find it less of an option because binocs are actually useful, for me at least. Anyways, thx for the great vids. I really enjoy watching them.
For some weird reason, this did not show up in my feed immediately. Great vid as always. Qucik FYI for future - you can make heavy armor repair kits with advanced tools. The catch is that recipe is more expensive than the expert tools version.
Getting dizzy and seeing vague human shapes is some scary stuff. PSI aura in Gunslinger looked cool on the trailers, but experiencing it yourself - not so much. Reminds me old Misery2 Lab X-8 experience, where PSI aura was so strong it literally melted me, even with scientists suit (fully upgraded), artifacts and meds. Good times...
If you get to repair the heavy suits, really try out the Merc Scientific Suit. It has upgraded 5 belt slots, weights ~11kg and holds 23kg. It's my best armor on my recent playthrough and I also have the exosuits and other options. (pair it with a good helmet and Kevlar+ inserts)
Hey I recently found your channel and im really enjoying your videos. Could you please do a guide on how to deal with every type of mutant? I really do struggle with controllers, the camera tp thing is just so unfair. I've been searching for a guide like that but i didn't find any, it would be of great help ,ty.

I don't know if its random, but I got my first set of expert tools at the entrance of Radar via Army Warehouses. Was going to mention it after you finished the main mission there. Seems you missed the stash going in and on your way out aswell. I should've said something, sorry.
It is totally random. The stashes near the entrance to northern zones are always worth checking asap though. At other times, it may take a hundred stashes before you get them.
@@Ulisses3k Any zone north of the Barrier is fair game. The closest ones are ofc Radar, Limansk and Red Forest. If you use guides, it is far easier to get to and search stashes in Jupiter or Zaton than f-in red forest.
I'll leave a little tip in case somebody doesn't know. Against Poltergeist mutants you can just stay crouched and move around crouched, and stop when your vision turns to white, until you see them, as long as you don't move, you can shoot them and they won't throw shit at you.
Cheeki can't find any info about stats and strats online because most of the time he IS the source! 😂 If I recall correctly from Stalker: Clear Sky impact resistance decided how much damage your armor could sustain before breaking down, for example if you had 0 impact resistance, any damage would lower the armor's durability much more so your strategy was pretty concerning, maybe in the game manuals there would be some info? I mean you're really close to getting the invictus and the tension with each episode is getting higher and higher. You come so close to death in each episode it is miraculous the series hasn't ended yet. For poltergeists and pyrogeists it is best to stand still between their pathways (preferably in a room without objects) and take potshots at them as they roam, I don't know how pyrogeists react in GAMMA but if I recall correctly they could easily one shot you by creating fire storms around you if they are angered. Shooting poltergeists will anger them and you can understand they will engage you by how blue your screen is so it is best to wait for them to calm down sometimes. But your balls to wall approach was very entertaining to watch!
Question; can you apply camouflage with uniforma and patches in gamma like in anomaly? If so, why not dress as free stalker to travel in places like yanov station to avoid killing important characters?
You can craft heavy armor repair kit using just advanced tools, there are two crafting variants. It is more expensive but possible. Only exo need expert tools afaik.
he knows, it was pointed out in the comments on brain scorcher - he replied he didn't build it because he thinks its too expensive. I find that kinda funny considering his wealth/hoarding and some of his purchases, but everyone plays differently/has different priorities.
I wonder if you disabled recipe for crafting heavy repair kit from 5 mediums. Because It's super cheap, like, 40k of glue and thread, and few basic crafting materials. No reason to not use it, you'll save more on meds in no time.
The Armor plate was good agains bullet and mutant but it was very conductive... you takes extra damage with Electric Anomaly and Burer that some how zap me with Electric.
Not sure, it's probably a bug. I play with animations mostly on (because I think it makes the game too easy when you heal, bandage etc.. if you remove animations) but I turn them off when I disassemble a lot of stuff because it wastes a ton of time just to sit in base and watch the same animation over and over for every weapon you take apart. Anyways, after a while on this switching on/off depending on the situation the animation for stripping mutants just stopped altogether. These videos are on an old GAMMA build tho so it might have been fixed since.
@@CheekiBreekiTv thank you, I also play with the animation on, for the realism and the added difficulty, but as you say, when stripping a lot of mutants or disassembling a lot it can be annoying... the stripping animation is quite long tho
I'm curious, how do you manage to make as much money as you do? Currently in gamma, I'm playing as freedom and running a path around Rostok, doing as many missions and side quests from random npc's and it takes me hours to make enough money to buy one repair kit. I'm constantly having to reinvest in hydrashock rounds, and 5.56, that after I've done a full circuit I've only made a few thousand roubles. So, any tips for saving on ammo and meds, or just flat out making more money?
You're right with doing as much side quests / missions as you can, be efficient in what you sell, craft, take the time to heal at campfires when you can instead of using medicine etc... But the Big difference we have is that I have easy access to butcher in garbage (cheapest ammo, bets prices on mutants parts) and Rostok is the dream to do all the little Stalker missions (give me x bandit patches, find me 3 vodkas, clear mutants in the entrance etc...) that add up really quickly.
Is it just me or are you taking much less damage from mutants? A fracture can kill me in pretty much 3 hits, each hit takes around 1/3 of my hp, while in the video he hits you 5 times and you have 1/2 of your hp. The poltergeists throwing shit at me pretty much take 1/2 of my hp with a single object hit. And im having decent gear, a bit less rupture impact than you.
