If you hold L You can tiene on the laser in the ak and If you press V you can use the close Range scope, like this you unlock the full power of the kit. You may already know this but I didn't see you using it. Love the content btw!
Ahahh glad you noticed this! I left most of the fight without cutting away the "downtime" hoping people would pick up how nervous / anxious I was getting, realizing I bit more that I could chew and was stuck there. Only Ironman give you these feelings!
12:53 That reference in the PDA message was drowned out by gunfire, the whole fight gave me second hand anxiety tho good job, I get really nervous when playing iron man mode
I swear, the regular way to brain scorcher was brutal! Not only the monolith you bump into, you have to fight the mutant too. I hate when I got caught by 2 chimera when fighting troop of Monolith... and they love to sneak up behind you. But if you go from red forest, the Monolith won't shoot immediately, you fight them and they have to push you. Better safe than sorry
Merc ACE with 3 upgraded plates fills up the ballistic meter entirely. 4th slot can use a grid or freon module. It is better than almost every other heavy armor for other protections. Best suit to get till you find and upgrade an Exoskeleton or Nos. Also, it was funny for the Merc medic to cry out for aid. You companion was the true MVP though. even took a burst of friendly fire and shrugged it off. Hope you upgrade to the latest patch for the next episode.
Advice for future: It's a bad strategy to kill the mercs. It's fun and the gear is okay, but economically you're trading away one of the best resources in the game: Aslan's lottery. It's better to have a dedicated disguise specifically for Dead City to cash in all your hundreds of stalker patches. I understand if you're clearing their base for loot but as Military I would rather go to Army Warehouses and farm Freedom every day until you're strong enough for Monolith. You'll have an exosuit in no time. Good luck with the run.
Merc ACE is the best non-exo armor in GAMMA. I made it through the Brain Scorcher and the CNPP with it. I had a Volat Emerald, Compass, and Full Empty, and 2 max armor plates in it, so it was a bit cheesy, but it was fun to do without an exo for a change.
Man, the big fight just blew my mind, dude. Been playing Survival mode lately, fighting hordes of slow zombies with the occasional snorks, fractures, bloodsuckers, etc. But seeing THAT many living, breathing Mercs in one place is NOT the case in Survival. Very entertaining
It almost annoys me how you got a great second, rear sight on your Shakal AK and yet you stick to your scope or just hip fire Other than that, absolute banger to watch, love it! I really admire your game sense, patience and how much it takes to play INVICTUS Enjoyed the vid from begging to an end, love you
TH-cam videoları sıkıştırıyor otlar falan çorba gibi görünüyor. 4k bu sıkıştırmayı biraz azaltıyor, mercimek çorbasını hoşafa çeviriyor. Bir yolunu bulmalılar yıl 2022.
I started playing gamma and it is a blast! I just did a neat upgrade to ak-105 and a kark98k but that kark feels a bit redundant because I can mostly deal with mid-long range targets with the AK as well. Should I keep it or should I just dump it and run a shotgun instead of 5.45 HP ammo?
A sniper is really helpful at all times. The base Kar and even the Forester lose their punch mid/early-late game since the ammo has very little armor pen and base dmg. But it is really good early. The Forester has a great scope too. Technically, you can use any weapons you like. However, the general preference is to have a sniper for long range, an AR or DMR for mid/close range, and a mutant/low-tier bandit killer, usually a shotgun. The pistol is a common fall-back choice for killing mutants. Mostly because carrying around and swapping to a shotgun every time you need to kill mutants isn't optimal. Always remember that Butcher in the Garbage sells really cheap HP ammo for the AK. As well as all other high dmg ammo for killing mutants. As far as AP ammo goes, you will feel the need for it starting in the late game. Before you encounter highly armored stalkers, FMJ is economical. That said, keeping a mag's worth of AP on you is useful if you run into an enemy in heavy armor, say an exoskeleton, even early on. Some players have a weird fascination with Deagles. Probably CoD nostalgia. Imo, the slow rate of fire is outclassed by any other .45, particularly a Korth, which can empty its clip in the time you can fire 2 shots from a Deagle. One advantage is that the Deagle has decent stopping power, and will cause even a highly armored enemy to flinch when you headshot them at close range. Giving you time to run to cover. Weird RPG comparison would be that a Deagle is a one handed mace while a .45 is a dagger with bleed. And all other pistols fire boiled peas. The Korth is better because its dmg is ~50% higher than any other .45, has a high rate of fire and very little recoil. Still wouldn't recommend the full-auto upgrade. The 6" version can use a scope and suppressor. Keep in mind that the Dhamphyr Deagle can equip an ACOG, turning it into a decent mid range sniper. You can get one with an ACOG from the Aslan lottery for 30 patches if you are neutral/friendly with Mercs. Save scumming recommended.
ditch the KAR... shitty gun doesnt really belong in the zone anyways... atleast its vanilla though and not some seriously questionable addon like a thompson 😂
@@Fat_Paws Funny as IRL the thungsten AP ammo for kar98 goes through ceramic level 4 armor like knife through butter. I actually run shotguns as it is super economic universal weapon that in the early game is hard to match. I am not having much luck finding UMP anyway. When it comes to Deagle, before the recent nerf it was a super universal mid tier ammo as it was effective both against mutants and mid armor (same pen as fmj 7.62x39. Now its just against bandits and mutants. With 38 pen now the 9mm is quite universal backup. While the HP is not great, it can do with lesser mutants or for shooting from safe position and the AP is second just to 5.7 in pistols.
Yeah I actually cut the part where I explain this in the previous video where I was choosing which AK to repair. For some reason I cant get the switching scope working with the shakal (redid all my keybinds multiple times etc..) but it works perfectly with other weapons. Is there any reason you wouldn't just call your companions to come to you? It could have saved alot of time and effort after the initial killings. I hope I get as much luck as you did here with my next playthrough, fingers crossed
Personally I now play without companions. They can help a lot, but it makes you lazy with tactics and situational awareness and sometimes they behave weird and just screw you. So i instead do hit and run tactics to counter flanking and getting overwhelmed.
