I’ve always found it odd and confusing that in Galactic Conquest, Boba Fett is the Empire’s hero that makes more appearances. You would’ve think Vader would’ve been in that spot.
Best faction planet to defend in Galactic Conquest? I think Genosis just cause the CIS has Flying bugs and Spider Walkers. Endor is a nightmare to defend as Empire

I think one of my biggest gripes with this game, even when I was a child, was blaster heroes. I just don't like them. If I could pick any hero I wanted within a faction this game would be a lot more fun
Sonic heroes ost, instant like. Great video? Amazing dude, nostalgic content like top 5's from some of the og youtubers. Feels like its made in 2006. LOVE IT!!!!
the biggest downside of the CIS is that most of their units do not take full adventage of the reward special weapons, for example the clone commander and the jet trooper have access to the precision pistol that deals huge damage and has semi auto fire rate giving them greater firepower while the super battle droid can only have the elite blaster but the magnaguard and the droideka have no access to any special weapons.
I farmed most of the award weapons on legendary and having the precision pistol on the clones makes them the best faction once you have all the enhancements
Super Battle Droid is the best standard Trooper in the first and 2nd game. :D But yeah BF2 is balanced in compare to the first one. Droideka nightmares. Pandemic has a big heart for the CIS and thats great.
@@brudbrud9137 If you ever try Clone Wars extended mod for BF2, you'll experience true droideka terror. They shoot quadruple lazers with no overheat so basically just a shielded assault turret onetapping everything.
The AAT's main cannon has to be one of the most broken things I've ever seen in a game. It's basically just an explosive OHKO sniper rifle with quasi-hitscan projectile speed, all it takes is parking yourself uphill at a far corner of the map and you can rack up a killstreak that'd make even Tarkin blush.

I've never liked the CIS because I'm not a super fan of Droids. I respect that they're part of the lore, but for me skirmishes and conflicts are only interesting when both factions are human or humanoid.
Yo, just so you are aware, when you're in a starfighter and are locking on to an enemy craft with your missiles, you can hold down the secondary fire button and release the whole payload of missiles without losing the targeting. It's not really very intuitive, but your entire volley will lock on. I noticed you were locking on after every shot in the footage at the end so thought this would help
for online play (no heroes/vehicles), Rebels and Empire are way better than CIS/Clones. Dark trooper can stunlock instakill anything by using booster pack to cancel delay between shots, and the wookie is plain ridiculous. jet/magnaguard/droideka/clone commander are probably all weaker than the standard engineer although you could argue magnaguard
While switching between normal and elite difficulty I do find on Assault mode that the villains do play a little better especially boba and jango fett…they are slightly more accurate…
The Dark Trooper in the original Star Wars battlefront 2 was much better because there was no delay time between arc caster shots so it could be spammed very easily. For some reason they decided to nerf him 20 years later lol
People really sleep on the Clone Commander. The chaingun is great when you're playing defensively. Charge up the chaingun from cover, come out and light up a bunch of droids, once it's overheated, get back to cover, draw your pistol if needed, Rally is nice as a defense buff and you have a recon droid, too. Once you rack up enough points and get the damage buff, the chaingun is an absolute beast. Magna guards also seem a bit overlooked too. At mid- long range you can use the bulldog to target enemy infantry and it'll seek them once locked on, one direct hit and it's an instant kill. I think the radiation launcher (Recycled from the Droid pilot in Battlefront 1) is a great close range backup, it takes a bit of skill to use, but it's great. Imp officer I feel is just a watered down Imperial Pilot from battlefront 1. Imp Pilot had the grenade launcher, a blaster pistol, health and ammo and a fusion cutter, extremely versatile and good at close- mid range. Imp officer is only really good for buffing and grenade spam, the sonic blaster is just a fallback weapon.
Also when it comes to the dark trooper and the jet trooper, I feel like they die in 2 pistol shots. They are incredibly fragile and that makes thek frustrating for me. Probably a skill issue though.
I disagree on your rating for the clone jet trooper. Once you get a couple of pistol kills you basically become jango fett with less health. You get a rocket, you get a strong pistol and a jetpack. Also how is boba worse than leia if he has a jetpack and an easy to use main gun. Vader is also strong af because of his force choke.
I would be Rebels above CIS for a simple reason: The Rebels wear camo. That may not seem like much, but when you've had a match on Dagobah that you came back from a 60-1 man deficit to win by moving throgh the trees to strike at unsuspecting Imperials, capturing command posts seemingly at random, you'd probably put Rebels on a pedastol too. Not to mention the fact that the Y-wing is arguably the best bomber purely because of the gunner's seat.

The Rebels' bomber has an actual turret, meaning that if someone is tailing you, where your ship is the most vulnerable, you are still a threat as opposed to the CIS bomber. That and I've found that the A-wing seems to do more damage faster than the Tri-fighter, making it the better interceptor, the particle cannons on the gunship just feel better (even if it's identical to two other factions) and it feels more durable. As for the X-wing, it feels like it's at least on par with the Vulture Droid.

Your takes one jedi differ from mine, personally. I think Yoda is F tier and Grievous isn't too much better. Leia is also cheeks because that damn gun overheats immediately. Anyone that's slow is honestly a no from me dawg. I 100% agree maul is the best though! Love me some maul

The magna guard doesn't have a dmg buff for allies, they have neurotoxin/poison, which can affect every enemy around them

My brother straight up locked me inside the rebel comandship with it with no counterplay.

very good point the wookie warrior is debatably the best class in the game too but the cis has the second best heroes and the best ships in the game

I can agree with this list. I also think General Grievous is up there with Maul as one of the best heroes in the game. He is like a tank.
