I fully agree with the rankings here, i wonder if you'll do one about Battlefront 2 (2005) Ironically the CIS there are even more overpowered, it's almost like the devs had an intentional bias for the CIS in both games
lol no way. The second game the factions are more balanced in the clone wars era the drodiekas aren't tanks with over 17-20 kills per unit like in the first game
@@Bullsblackhawks93 BF2 droideka shields are better than BF1's (they only start to drain once you get hit, where in BF1 it always drain when you activate it) And i think it's also more resistant than the previous game? Like that shield can tank a lot of grenades, the EPM grenades drained like almost half of their shield energy in the previous game Also let's not forget the CIS arguably has the best Space bombers and Gunship, they're the only faction immune to space intoxication on polis massa, Geonosis while heavily downgraded is still hard to invade as The Republic, and don't get me started on their hero units, Darth Maul is a beast
When i was a kid i used to think republic and imperial sniper was Categorically Worse because of lacking double zoom but they actually get 2 more shots per clip which can do BITS for picking up extra kills, i think it encourages you to try and play a bit closer and more aggressive

I mean, I can mostly agree with the dark trooper point as him being the worst or close to being the worst unit/class in the game as uh...yeah using only him through galactic conquest on maps like bespin platforms and kashyyyk islands is just purely an endless nightmare even on medium difficulty. However, for the rest of the classes of the empire they're really good or decent, try going up against the imperial pilot on hard(original version of battlefront 1) or even on medium(classic collection) and they'll almost immediately one shot you with pinpoint accuracy with their grenade launcher (talking about mostly the bots by the way). Also for the dark trooper it's best to constantly swap and shoot between the blast cannon and his pistol to make him more effective in combat not just using his blast cannon or that's how I got him to mostly work but it'll probably take a bit of practice and getting used to the swapping back and forth. With these things aside it's tough for me to say which faction is the best and which is the worst because personally I'm split between either the republic or the rebels as the worst? I mean, the republic loses on just about every map and the bots are usually extremely dumb and can't defend anything while having a trash pilot and it's a bit of the same problem with the rebels although at least the rebels seem to win on more maps so I do have to give credit there. Best can be arguable between the CIS and Empire, not crapping on the republic or rebels or anything just stating what I know after playing for so long and seeing how the bots behave and I know this is a long comment but giving a few opinions and information is all.
Personally.i.think the Droid Pilot is.the beat engineer class and is an underrated powerhouse. It's radiation launcher is.powerful and it can heal itself. Also the Dark Trooper and Rebel Pilot's.blast cannon is pretty fun to use.
You forgot to mention - in the official guidebook released for the game, every sniper that can only zoom 1x has a stronger beam. I.E. they do more damage than their counterparts with a 2x zoom. The heavy units' double rocket launcher is debatably worse since it does half damage per rocket, and you can possibly miss one rocket. I would say it might be better for anti infantry work than anti vehicle. I agree the CIS are the strongest as well. In competitive or social PvP they perform very well.

You're looking at the jump pack of the dark trooper wrong. If you compare it to the jetpack of the clone commando, then of course you will view it unfavorably because it doesn't give you as much control in the air. The jump pack is meant solely to propel you forward in battle, getting you much closer to wherever you need to go and fast. If you try to use it like a jetpack, you're using it wrong. Need I remind you that you can't run in this game? Unless you're a Droideka or you're taking a ship, good luck getting to the next command post as fast as the dark trooper can. And in the first place, it shouldn't be seen as "The dark trooper has the jump pack but it could've had the jet pack, therefore it's bad", rather "The dark trooper has the jump pack, but it could've had nothing. And a good burst movement option in a game where those capabilities are limited is a plus." Anyways, I seriously don't understand why you're giving the dark trooper negative points for having the jump pack. On another note, it's kind of whack that you're dumping on its shotgun. It doesn't one-shot one-kill unless you get only headshots with it? That's a reach. The gameplay you show in the video demonstrates that it's pretty clearly a two or three shot kill on most infantry from a respectable distance. That seems pretty standard for a shotgunner if you ask me.
Yea the CIS are by Far the best faction in this game the droidekas are WAY to op and the 4 units always get at least 18-30 kills a game. @@helix5736there a I’m getting ripped rip that meme where a clone flies away its in the background. Someone says it’s an asset from the bf2 mission but also I played a kamino beta map which has bugs(people and ships invisible) but yeah it has Jedi star fingers so gunship isn’t impossible

The Y-Wing is way better than the TIE Bomber for the turret alone.
