    Fantastic vid Dave ... its juz intriguing how we get caught up in high gain tones..amp and cab match ..IRs...but then how Delay topics on its own can juz carry you onto another world on its own.Cheers ...thx a bunch luv tis .

      How goes the Experience with GT1000, now that you have owned it for 1 year?

      @@WinItReigns Ended up selling it and going with a much simpler board. For what it is, it’s great. If you heavily use effects or love to endlessly tinker with patches, you’ll be in hog heaven. After a while it just became apparent that I was never going to utilize its full potential. Fantastic piece though.

    I’m surprised you didn’t mention the 5 delay blocks in parallel by plugging a patch cable going into send 1 to return 2. Chords of Orion did that in one of his videos. I don’t know if I’m correct on how to use the patch cable, but it was something like that.

      @@DaveWebbMusic Yeah man it’s really cool. I think the Chords of Orion video is called Frippertronics.

    Please could you provide the whole chain that you use to get that sound at 5.37? Its really great and I would love to use it live. Cheers.

      Thanks man.
      So this patch is one of my rigs from my GT-1000 Gig Pack which you can find on website davewebbmusic.com/products/gt-1000-gig-pack
      All I did was move things around to make the video. Amp, Cab & EQ settings are all the same.

    Hey David, The GT and GX units are the only ones I haven't tried yet. How do you like working with the UI over all? From what I hear the tones are just as good as anything else out there. Workflow is the biggest thing I would want to try for my own personal experience and knowledge. Thanks

    • @DaveWebbMusic
      @DaveWebbMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate!
      It’s like anything I guess, once you know it, you know it.
      The GT workflow on the board is a little bit of menu diving and takes some time to wrap your head around. I definitely prefer to use the software editor, but would definitely recommend learning the unit in case you need to adjust on the fly. Much like the Axe Fx in that regard.
      Overall I guess it’s not as bad as some people tend to complain about, but it’s no touch screen that’s for sure!
      I’ve not used the GX units yet so I have no idea.

    Hi Dave!! it's possible to have the trail keep going when changing presets?

    Maybe a weird question. I want to make a preset with an self oscillating delay. Now I can get my GT-1000core to do that with the master delay. But I cannot get it to stop. Not even by switching presets or turning the feedback down to zero. Any Idea's why this won't work?

    • @DaveWebbMusic
      @DaveWebbMusic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Weird that it doesn’t stop 🤔 try assigning the parameter to a footswitch, toe down maximum for oscillating, heel down minimum amount that you want.
      Or assign the same to a button.
      In theory, turning the feedback down should cut it off. But so should changing presets… 🤷🏻‍♂️
      Give that a go anyway!

    • @Speedrock1987
      @Speedrock1987 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@DaveWebbMusic I don't know what I did wrong. I tried it multible times before and I couldn't get the delay to stop. But now it seems that by turning the feedback to zero it does. Turning the master delay off or switching presets doesn't. So I think it works now🤐. Thanks for the quick comment.
