- Watch as we transform our 2014 VW Amarok into a Raptor Liner beast.
After travelling Australia full-time and taking a few knocks, the Amarok needed some love. Adam decided to repair the car himself and then spray the Raptor coat for a tough and mean finish.

8 bottles of tintable raptor, there wasn’t enough to do the inside of the Ute tray. So we’ve since raptor coated the Ute tray in just black. Used super etch primer only where required
those lady trucks are really cute. thinking about buying one of those tiny trucks for my wife

While the paint looks good, it was sprayed too finely so it’s like fine sand paper. Fine if you don’t intend to take it 4x4ing, but we do so it’s scratches pretty easily. That said, it’s been almost 18 months now and it seems to have settled in and doesn’t scratch as much now. I’m working on the next TH-cam video where we redo the bonnet,flares,bullbar and spray the tub. And this time it looks great and the way to supposed to… satin finish that you can run your hand across without losing skin lol. The new vid should be up next week 👍🏻
Through a HVLP gun you will probably want to do 3 coats of liner as the norm is done with that spit gun thing that basically just splats the liner on but its thick as shit.
Doing a full car you may want the larger kit of raptor liner, a minimum of 4 bottles. 1.6-2mm tip is recommended, I am planning on 1.8 tip with hornet yellow like on the Toyota CH-R, hope it comes out alright lol
