Really hoping that Fx changes the magazine on the IMPACT to an all metal one!!! They should really consider a more solid magazine for all of their Airguns and get rid of the complicated to load plastic one! Thanks for sharing, AGW.
The gun everyone drooling over the Impact but scared of being made beta testers is buying. Like me. I'd like to see a lot fewer models per company and much more QC and testing on the few good models they make. Reputation does not live by marketing alone.

One other point I'd like to point out about British fire arms law, is its quite legally possible and there have been many case's of children as young five years old using and owning twelve bore shot guns on there parents farms and estates, but yet most adult's who do not own land are restricted to twelve foot pounds of energy air rifles, funny that isn't it that adults who are not privileged can't be trusted in the eyes of the law.

Most of the pellets you shoot through them are lead which means once they hit something hard they will basically flatten out and lose all energy. From all my shooting in my life with airguns I have never had a ricochet.
This twist at the end of the barrel is baffling....you let the pellet takes it momentum then at the end forced it to make a turn.(didn't we disrupt its momentum?just thinkin')
Losing top end speed is better than losing the acceleration to get to the top speed. You may get faster with no rifling at the end but then your shot would suck. Put rifling since beginning lose acceleration and top end. Put rifling at end only and allow acceleration means you have less than no rifling top speed but more than full barrel rifling. Now try to make out what I said.
I have a wildcat, and have problems with the mag getting scratched by the index lever to the extent that it will not rotate. I have to keep smoothing it down with emery paper. Does anyone else have this problem?
I believe that young people should be encouraged to learn and respect the correct use of fire arms, perhaps our fac laws need to be looked at to allow more adult people who are interested in shooting to take up the sport and get proper training at a proper shooting range's like they do in Switzerland, but to allow children to use a shotguns as young a five that needs to change I think !

I completely understand you. When we are ignorant at this we just cant understand why someone would pay 2, 3k for an airgun. Looks plain crazy. After a while in the airgun world, you end up appreciating the art, quality and precision behind these toys for men. I can say Id love to get me maybe an Indy or Bobcat. Although, I would definitely lie to my wife about its actual price. She wouldnt understand xD Haha

Fred did not put the set screw in to hold the barrel in. That would not have worked very good.
