@ilija I think you mean PFAM9B unless I’m mistaken Those use to be around all the time. A Quick Look shows them at Crosman website and Amazon. Cheaper on Amazon
@@airgunsraider1007good news I found it lost receipt but that’s ok still in box never fired, lately I just have been using WEP that gun is amazing but yes3 mags occasionally jam but easily fixable, you know I have 226 but NP,,,,so what can I say it’s your money, you can get XGB for $40 it’s all up to you but Springfield Armoury 1911 don’t buy it,that’s just me and my observation
I’ve got the XBG in the Tac..Definitely a good buy. I was just thinking about getting the Springfield Armory XDM… 4.5 .. I really don’t want it in black . got the XDE… in black. The Black XDM is cheaper but I want the two tone silver. Maybe not if the 1911 is not good. Thanks for the heads up!
I am thinking of purchasing either a p226 or a p229, but cannot find any place the big difference. Can you shed some light on this and which you feel is better? - thank you.
@Nyra I do not own the p229 only the p226. If you google the p229 bb pistol, you can find it available at the Sig Sauer website (current price $119.00 U.S.) …. Not that bad of a price providing that it is your preference.. there are no spec details on the website … It’s hard to tell if it’s .177 or 6mm Airsoft . Maybe you can contact the supplier for more details. Most of the stuff shows it as being Airsoft . I do own the p229 springer (Airsoft ) version. In comparison to that and my p226 the p229 is shorter and the grips are wider. Based on the picture on google, it looks like it might have a full magazine instead of the stick type p226. The p226 is a pellet gun. The p229 looks to be a BB gun. The Airsoft version gas type ( abundantly available it seems) has a full metal magazine….. based on what I can see. Other than that the Markings are different. Based on my understanding the real steel version of the p226 was produced to be used as a military side arm for the U.S. Navy (that’s why the anchor logo is on the gun) The p229 has no markings. Which may indicate that it was a model that either existed before the p226. I’m only speculating …. More research might be needed . The way I collect Airguns sometimes is based on personal preference. I love a nice looking replica….. I also prefer the pellet over the BB versions as target shooters…. But for realistic functionality, the BB gun types usually are fully functioning replicas with close to the real steel fire arm. Most pellet gun replicas mechanisms do not allow for all the bells and whistles that the BB versions come with. I hope that helps……
@thefistedwafflez6449 Try crosman pointed and Crosman destroyers…. Anything with a lower profile pellet wise. No long pellets of any kind like crosman gold or red flights. In most cases using the stick type magazines if I’m looking for variety, I’ll use dome styled pellets, hollow points, copper magnums etc. I’m listing crosman because I use them mostly because they are more economically friendly. I’m mostly drilling and not precision target shooting… like with my rifles. If you like to shoot pointed or bullet style pellets in pistols, I would use pellet based revolvers with the metal cartridges. They will take longer and pointed pellets. I hope this helps…. Shoot on!!!! Have Fun!!!
You sound like your running into the dealing with shallow depth of these stick magazines and belt fed types of magazines as well. Unfortunately not many of the the Hunter type pellets required to dispatch small game or pest will work. I’m thinking along the lines of Gamo rated products. In this case of stick magazines your options would be limited. I assume you don’t have access or you have decided not to use a pellet rifle. Which would be my first recommendation. Either way, a pointed sharp pellet might be hard to find. Some pointed domed pellets might be an option like…. The Gamo “silent cat” or the Gamo “Rocket” pellets might do the job. They won’t bind the rotors of the clip. Also maybe some of the Crosman pellets might do the job, in particular the Crosman “Piranha” could be a decent option. Co2 blowback pistols might not be a first choice in my case. I might seek out a few of the pump action pistols like….. the strike point, or the American classic, and or a break barrel pistol like the Umarex Trevox or the Benjamin Trail …. .177 airguns can do the job like these, but look for .22 offerings sometimes found in the same type of guns. I hope this helps… Thank you for the comment I appreciate it!
Get yourself a break barrel rifle or pistol. Longer barrel equals more velocity and spring/nitro piston never needs CO2 which gets pricey. For pest control, I'd suggest using domed pellets the hollow points that have the polymer tip. Both of those go fast and they'll drop the most energy on impact. Pointy ones give you a bit more penetration.
Depends I do not own either… the classes thing I have is my my crosman 2400kt and crosman Drifter 2289cfkt . Similar guns….. I Like both….. CO2 Airguns are easy No pump action …… but Pump actions are fun too . Good luck
I bought one and at 12 feet the pellet hits four inches low with a new gas cylinder. Tried it with BBs and it hits three inches low. Either poor quality or very low power. Mine was a waste of money.
Not yet …. Sorry! I’ve been behind on my shooting and testing videos, as well as un-boxings. I’ve got a few new guns to review and reveal. This one is on a long to do list. Unfortunately. Thank you for watching and commenting. Enjoy your weekend
