Yeah. I have my fingers crossed for Valdosta State to move up next. They are on an island in D2 GSC after 2024. They've outgrown D2 and been left behind by all similar sized and like minded institutions. Only time will tell.
I think they'll stay at 10 for now. Only because of revenue distribution. The less schools, the more money each school gets. However, I would like to see them add Missouri State.

I think EKU is fighting an uphill battle until WKU leaves. But if SFA doesn't desire FBS right now, I think EKU finds their way in (with Tarleton) due to lack of desired, willing, and able options. EKU has no shot at the MAC, IMO. MAC wants the WKU/MTSU package because they sandwich Nashville.
UT Martin has a very low budget. If the ASUN is interested, it would be solely for the purpose of adding a FB member so the ASUN can sponsor FB (as opposed to UAC).

I agree, if UCA can swing FBS, they should be an easy add for C-USA. They bridge the gap between the Texas schools and the Nashville area schools. The only potential hiccup would be Tarleton State sneaking in ahead of them. Texas is big enough where even being the 15th FBS team (should both Tarleton and SFA move up) may still be worth more than being the third team in Arkansas.
That was actually my original plan. The problem I ran into was finding background information behind a lot of those moves. The narration would've ended up bland and generic as a result.
I would add Stephen F Austin over Tarleton State because SFA already has a built in rivalry with Sam Houston State and they could create a secondary rivalry with UTEP also in Texas

Conference USA needs at 14 schools the way college athletics are these days you have to keep up with the Joneses

I think Tarleton finds its way into C-USA. I'm not sure about SFA's desire for FBS, but I think the last spot comes down to SFA/EKU.
