Awww the colors look fabulous!! and if you have any leftover of the colors you could have Sam cut out their names out of wood with his fancy cutting robot thingy and then paint them in to opposite color of their prospective walls. They would pop out super cute! Great job you 2 as always!
When you opened the green tin of paint I went WOW! I love it. 😍😍😍 Then you opened the blue tin of paint and went WOW! Again. 😍😍😍They are beautiful colours. This room will look warm and inviting even in the midst of the coldest winter. Loved the boys reaction, they are so happy with their room. 😄😄😄
It almost mad me cry when the boys saw their room. You are precious parents. I love the way you always include your children. You are the best. God bless you both.
Take it from a former paint salesperson: NEVER NEVER skip the primer. I know what the can says, but it absolutely does not contain primer. It is what I call a “double bodied” paint - it contains more solids than a regular paint, which lessens the chance that you would need multiple coats. That said, intense colors always require at least 2 coats to look good (red takes at least 3 coats)
It is refreshing to see parents encouraging kids to have their own space. So many times we want a STYLISH look rather than the excitement reflected on a child’s face! Some day you will choose all the colors and how lonely that will be...but your kids will still talk about this room with their own families!
I think the two colors are great! I am so glad the boys love their room colors. You can see it on their faces that they love them. I am interested on seeing the crown molding go up and then the flooring. Hurry up I want to see the flooring color! LOL
You will never regret painting the walls the boy's colors. When our boys were small one of them wanted Amtrak Railroad stripe on his bedroom wall. After a few years we sold the house and painted over Amtrak but we are very glad we did it. The other boy just wanted three walls white and the fourth blue and gray for the Dallas Cowboys. At that time we lived in Southern Oklahoma so the Cowboys wall could stay when we sold the house and moved to Texas.
Hell that green and blue, this is colorful! When I was a child, I would choose yellow or Orange, maybe red but never green or blue. Your 2 sons are very special! Lovable special! Nice to see them be happy with it! You are good parents!
For future projects...a plastic grocery bag lines a paint tray just about perfectly! 😉 The "colors" might be "bright" (to you 😉), but they are both also soft/warm in intensity, so don't give off a cold/stark feeling. They go well together. Great choices, guys❗👍 Might want to do a 2nd coat as an extra layer of protection against bumps and dings. 😉
PLEASE post their room again once you have all their stuff set up!!! I really love that you gave them each a wall!! The colors look good with the neutral color you chose for the rest of the room. Great job!!!
So adorable. Can’t wait to see the finished room and the boys playing in their room. ....And mom and dad, leaned back in their recliner with their feet up, drinking a cold glass of tea or Pepsi!
Love the colors. These are the things your boys will remember when they are grown up. I always made my sons rooms special for them. They are adults now, special memories for them now.
Nice job you two! What a dream compromise. Sam....just think what kind of special effects you can do now that you have a green screen! I want to see your boys flying through the sky now.
One thing about having kids. They are definitely good at getting parents out of their comfort zones. But the good thing is..... it’s only paint. Looks good guys👍🏼
Those colors are definitely the same as the Italian icy cups we use to scoop out with the little wooden stick👍: the green was lemon lime and the blue was igloo blueberry🤣😂🤣😎
That was a nice idea. You must be so looking forward to moving them in to their own room (and bathroom as well). Then a few deep breaths, a few coffees and chats, and on to the front foyer. I remember it well.
Once you sold her on it roflmbo. This is always a crazy thing, but you can always paint over it, it’s just PAINT. Lol That little brush is my favorite for cutting in. Happy Feral children!!!! Yay!!! 💜💜💜💜💜🤗🤗 latex has that ammonia smell.
My daughter picked out a color that was way outside what we were comfortable with. I talked her into going with something less insane. Remember, it may be their room, but it's your home. One thing nice is paint can be covered over.
I love the colors. It is fun, they picked it, and it really looks good. It's getting closer for them to move back in there. Bet they can't wait either.
I was expecting Mc Donald's plate, and it turned out great! What is wonderful is that you asked the right questions to your children, went for it and you guys made them so very happy! Well done guys as always!
I love the colors! My room was that shade of blue when I was a kid. Sam, go back and watch the blue-white-green-white segment. Your eyes change color against the walls! 😳
How sweet to see the boys excitement over their surprise!!! You are very caring parents ❤️ ( you also could have put up peel off paintable wallpaper - for future change of mind ? Or done chalk paint on the walls and given them crayons to make designs on their walls )??? But I like what you have done : 2 very happy boys !!! 😄😃
The blue reminds me of the Blue's Clues blue that I painted my son's room when he was four. Just imagine all four walls that color! I love the way the blue, green and white look together. I hope you find some nice bedding to match the wall colors.
Love those colors! Save all the little plastic tubs fresh mushrooms come it for your paint trays. They're just the right size for brush work and toss them when you're done!
This was great to watch today. When my girls were young I had did something similar with their room. They still talk about how much they liked the room. This made my day ❤.
brilliant solution for a shared room. The colors are awesome! ....I Love the "love your neighbor as yourself" at the end. ....Sam you made me dizzy! haha!
Sidewalk chalk and washable markers can be your friends! 🤗 Wtg you two! Enjoy feeling like super heroes! Big hugs! Big respect! ☮️💖🙏 I've got nothing better to do right now so carry on with the green, white, blue, white game🙃
Love it! Perfect for kids. I also am one who suggested the boys have "their" wall be a color they choose. So cool. Can always paint over in a few years.
Love the robin's egg blue! But I'm like Sam, I love blue. That neon green is a great green. But the only green I like is veggies, grass & money. My Grandma loved green & EVERYTHING she bought was green. So glad Grandpa bought the bathroom fixtures, they were robin's egg blue. LOL
My wife & I's home is entirely blue or tan. Except for our office/guest room. We decided to go crazy like you guys, it's a similar green color to what you chose. It definitely grows on you with time!
Wow Sweet color´s of blue & green & satin white.. Great job Sam & Angela. It looks really good, Your boy´s seemed to like it too positively! joy & gladness. NICE carousel spinning at end Sam :D
Those colors are Awesome! I knew those ferrel kids would love it. And yes I have satin snow. thank goodness our new paint doesn't smell like pee..😉👍👍💙💚

We admire your work ethic and no credit ethic too. Everyone should take a lesson from you two!
The boys love it and that’s all that matters. I love that you put each of their favorite colors on the walls.
Awww the colors look fabulous!! and if you have any leftover of the colors you could have Sam cut out their names out of wood with his fancy cutting robot thingy and then paint them in to opposite color of their prospective walls. They would pop out super cute! Great job you 2 as always!

LOVE IT!!!!! The boys look so happy. And remember it’s only paint can be changed as they grow. Happy parents soon.😂😎👍
Legend has it Sam is still in there walking in circles naming the colors.
LOLOLOL Love it!!!!!!
🤣😂🥴
LOL! Best comment ever!
It almost mad me cry when the boys saw their room. You are precious parents. I love the way you always include your children. You are the best. God bless you both.
You are so kind, thank you!
LOVE IT!! The boys faces of pure delight was so cute 🥰🇬🇧.

Oh
Thx for the professional advice.
Go big or go home! Good for you guys!!
Love the bloopers! Thanks!
Nice! Like the idea of each son getting their own color.
Great colors. Now, green and blue curtains and matching bedspreads?
I know they are loving their room!!!
Perfect little boys colors! It's only paint so in ten years a new paint color won't be the end of the world. They looked very pleased. Good job!
It is refreshing to see parents encouraging kids to have their own space. So many times we want a STYLISH look rather than the excitement reflected on a child’s face! Some day you will choose all the colors and how lonely that will be...but your kids will still talk about this room with their own families!
Well that certainly isn’t light grey!🤣 The boys seem to love it, so that’s what’s really important!👍🏼
Sam said it all: « it is a fun room » and that is exactly the point !.
The kids just want a green screen and blue screen wall for movie magic.
I've been wondering if there's a way to have fun with them as we film in there more. ;)
@@sam-and-angela When a Chroma screen is involved anything is possible.
I think the two colors are great! I am so glad the boys love their room colors. You can see it on their faces that they love them. I am interested on seeing the crown molding go up and then the flooring. Hurry up I want to see the flooring color! LOL
You guys make my day!! Lol lol lol you make me laugh Thank you
God bless you and your family
It is really nice! So glad they love it!

Your boys are so sweet, they bring me to tears! The room looks marvelous!!! Stay awesome! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love it!!! Self expression! How awesome is that, the sky and earth they love, exactly where they sleep. Great parents!
What acute reveal!! Love it. Such lucky boys. Having such loving, supportive parents. Should be standard issue.
The look on the boys faces where priceless, I like it it’s going to be so cool, I can’t wait!
The boys are so happy! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👊🏼Green is my favorite color. I think of it as the color of life. Spring!
What lovely boys. So happy that you painted their favorite colors.
That blue color is the bomb!
Hell that green and blue, this is colorful! When I was a child, I would choose yellow or Orange, maybe red but never green or blue. Your 2 sons are very special! Lovable special! Nice to see them be happy with it! You are good parents!
Forest Green and Robins Egg Blue. Very good choice.
For future projects...a plastic grocery bag lines a paint tray just about perfectly! 😉

I love it! I’m glad you stepped out of your comfort level - and the boys love it & that’s what matters most!!

I always made my sons rooms special for them.
They are adults now, special memories for them now.
I love the colors and the contrast to the room makes it a fun playful room.
Nice job you two! What a dream compromise. Sam....just think what kind of special effects you can do now that you have a green screen! I want to see your boys flying through the sky now.
Can’t wait to see the room finished.
I absolutely love it - the green is my favorite but I like them both. Can't wait for the entire project to be finished!!
It was fun to see the reactions!
Cute kids. Enjoyable family moments.
One thing about having kids. They are definitely good at getting parents out of their comfort zones. But the good thing is..... it’s only paint.

You can make the room cohesive, you could use the other color to make geometric shapes or do them on the white walls. Fun colors to paint a boys room
The accent walls look wonderful the room will still be plenty bright enough with the white that's left
This was great to watch today. When my girls were young I had did something similar with their room. They still talk about how much they liked the room. This made my day ❤.
I love it because you let them pick there own colors it’s there room let them pick it great job
Love the colors! I’m with Sam though loving the blue more. Kiddos seemed very happy.
LOL! They way you were talking at the beginning, I was thinking you were going to pain a Kelly green and a Cobalt blue! 😂
brilliant solution for a shared room. The colors are awesome! ....I Love the "love your neighbor as yourself" at the end. ....Sam you made me dizzy! haha!
When we painted our house we let all the kids (4) pick out their own colors. Lets just say we have some funky colored rooms in our house.
Angela you had the bright idea and it is correct , the liner of a trash bag is genius cos it save you having to wash out the tray .
Those colors are definitely beyond your comfort zone! The boys sure approve!! Great work! 💙💚
Great idea, the boys had no doubt which side of the room was "theirs".
Super colors, and the boys love it. Everybody is happy.
Hi Sam & Angela, the colors are awesome for the boys room. The boys will be so happy! 👍🏻👏🏻
Great job mom and dad! I love the colors! I loved the kids reaction! They love it so much! Awesome!
That Zinsser Cover Up works good. I ONLY use Zinsser Primer when painting. It is absolutely the best.
That’s awesome. My Dad painted the boys bedroom the same colors in one room. Then orange basketball print in the other room. It was awesome
I like color so the kids pick great colored.
In a couple of years when the boys are older and more sophisticated 😎 you can go with royal blue and emerald green. 😆 Love the colors!
Sidewalk chalk and washable markers can be your friends! 🤗
Wtg you two! Enjoy feeling like super heroes!
Big hugs! Big respect!
☮️💖🙏
I've got nothing better to do right now so carry on with the green, white, blue, white game🙃
