I sleep 4-5 hours a night and eat once a day and i feel better and have more energy than most people i see. Dont drink soda. Drink coffee/tea and water all day. At night when you relax eat your one meal then. I cant understand those that sleep till 2 pm
On average I sleep 3-4hrs in a 24hr period and I agree. I always feel so alive and ready to absorb life. Even when I spend a day just chilling with my dogs I'm even excited with anticipation on what's happening on you tube. I love life even when life's worst is happening. It's all to me a mad rollercoaster at the best theme park and I won't shut my eyes at all just take it all in. Omg I just realised writing this I could be mad! Lol.

My grandma is extremely healthy (never gets sick, turning 90 soon and does not wear glasses, looks very young for her age). Her saying is “I’m too blessed to be stressed” and she only sleeps 4 hours a night and also says that’s all you need!
This is supposedly due to having high CO2 levels in your body - your repair mechanisms work way faster and you need less sleep. You can tell if you have higher CO2 levels in your body by how little you need to breathe (volume and times per minute).

Its all about age and cortilsol levels. As u age u loose melatonin in body. Now that i am hitting 40 i find it hard to sleep more than 4 hours. I function fine . At first i got panic attack lost why its happening but then realised it happens to people. My father also wakes up after few hours and so does his brother. My dad is active and an IITian. Its just part of life.

Sadhguru is actually more active than the average person. He is an energy master over many lifetimes. His prana has gotten to a certain level. If he just sits back his body goes into a deep mode of rest.

I don't agree with this. If you have nothing physical to do for the day maybe its okay but when you have a lot of tasks for the day you need a 6 hour sleep minimum

Yeah, in deep meditative states, every activity in your system goes at a slow pace, so less consumption of energy and it also provides deep relaxation
