Beautiful technique, Caterina. Masterful. A true testament to the power of discipline.
thank you, Mike!
Absolutely sensational. What a delightful touch. Thanks for sharing this.
This beautiful lesson, available by the end of March 2012, will benefit all mandolinists regardless of your current genre, whether it's bluegrass, country, swing or whatever. It will expand your knowledge, musicianship, repertoire and technique.
please keep on sharing ur videos
When I think of the mandolin I think of Neapolin songs. I saw an ad for this video in Homespuns catalog they sent me. The mandlin she is playing is different than the mandolin bluegrass players use. There are so many variations of instrument today.
Thanks, Dorothy. I am using Thomastic strings for a, d, g. Hannabach for e.
Thank You.
Thanks for sharing, you play son well by thé way

Danke
Very nice. I am wondering what kind of strings you use.
The mandolin is a Wolle, patterned after R Seiffert who designed and developed this particular style of mandolin. I have owned 2 Seiffert instruments.RIP R Seiffert.
u r amazing
Excellent! Thanks so much for sharing. What is the nut width / string spacing of your mandolin?
Hello greetengs from Venezuela!!! That mandolina is from Luthier Juan María Gómez, right?
This sounds so cool... I saw this instrument, but didn't know what it was called. So, I want home and goggled, "10 string instrument"... ah ha, I know I've heard one before!
Excellent, thank you!
Will it be available as a DVD anytime soon? I prefer to watch on my television rather than sit at the computer
Thanks you! It seems that the pic must be a little inclined (not perfectly parallel to the cords) in order to allow fast fluent picking without to get jammed in chords! Is it?
What type of strings for this instrument? I really like this as I've just acquired a bowl back. Thanks 😊
Sean Selberg - I believe that the song you are looking for is Bach's Minuet.
Oh, wow. I didn't know she had such a thing. These techniques are important to a really well played classical manolin piece. Wonderful to know. Thanks for sharing. I ran onto some similar techniques in a piece by Barbella. It has a number of little notes on such techniques. I'll have to get this!
pleased to ne connected wth u
j'aime beaucoup votre mandoline pouvez vous me dire la marque et la référence merci
💗
How many years do you practice mandolin ? You look fantastic !
what kind of pick is it? some on-line shop?
I believe this is a Seiffert Mandolin.. R, Seiffert RIP.
What plectrum are you using please?
salut ,c'est bien
It's a german mandolin, like all mandolins played in Germany. It's based on the italian model, but the soudboard is larger for a better resonance, and the neck is wider to make playing chords easier. Look also at the pick "Wolle Plektrum", big and rounded, it sounds very soft.
What was the song she played at the end? I've heard it before. But, alas, I do not know the name. Your help would be much obliged!
+Sean Selburg It's a menuet from J. S. Bach. That's all I know..
Hahaha i knew someone else would wanna know also... yaaah i found you... thats awesome..
Do you have tabs for classical mandolin music?! That what we want!!
Como afinas tu mandolina porque las primeras cuerdas siempre se ,me revientan
Where can uou purchase a classical mandolin?
There's a page called mundoplectro.com they have 4 mandolins now.
The page is on Spanish, to find a mandolin yo have to go the rectangle on the left side and click "instrumentos" then "mandolinas". The cheapest one is 350€ but my teacher says that for professionals its better to get the 2000€ one
Teach me.
Wolle Pick
this a Woll-Mandolin maybe its his Seiffert Model
Could this sound/style be achieved on a Stagg M50E (electro-acoustic) mandolin?
but the main question is: does it djent?
bravo parler vous français
u take the guitar and you try
Are you single Caterina?
