Thank you. In the US, Subaru is acting like the 2024 Crosstrek is a sensitive state secret. There is almost no info on Subaru of America's website, no configurator, and when you email/chat with SOA, they state the 2024 Crosstrek is a preproduction model, and they do not have any information on it. Oddly, there are several dealerships in the US that already have them on their lots. Luckily, dealerships and folks in Canada are doing awesome videos like this, since SOA dropped the ball in the US.
I'm amazed SOA hasn't updated the website to reflect the fact that the 24's are in production. Heck, I work for a dealer and we just got our 1st 24 Crosstrek for our loaner fleet this week.
Can you do a video on the Harman Kardon speaker placement on the Crosstrek Limited? I am curious on how they count out 10-speakers, and what constitutes as the "subwoofer" that is mentioned on Subaru of Canada's website. How does the 2024 Crosstrek's Limited Harman Kardon system sound compared to the 9-speaker in the Forester?

I have that exact 2024 white onyx. Got it last week here in Freddy. When it’s clean and not raining out constantly lol, the white onyx looks very sharp. My first Subaru. They handle nicely and have tons of options. The 11.6 screen is very cool to use! You will like this suv I’m sure! Cheers!!

Could you tell us what the layout of the 10 Harman Kardon speakers on that Limited trim are? Are there speakers / a subwoofer integrated into the rear hatch? Could you do a video on this? Thank you!!
1 Question. In place of where the x-mode button used to be on the centre console (now in the infotainment panel), in the limited trim, does that button on the centre console usable for something else? If there is no use, will there be a use for it on the Wilderness trim?
Hi Vito, there is no function to the center button. It is currently a black button. I have not seen any indication of the Wilderness being equipped with the front view or surround view either. Other markets do have a camera function through that button.
Subaru almost had me with the 2022 Crosstrek, but the fact that the Sport model still had Halogen headlights, manual seat adjustment, no blind spot monitor, etc was a huge turn off. Now LED headlights are standard, but they are still shipping the 2.0 L…meh. They also took away the physical buttons for climate control and I hate that. Subaru has lost me. I ended up getting a 2023 Mazda3 with a 2.5L 193 HP engine, LED headlights, blind spot monitoring, a 6 speed automatic transmission, etc on the Select trim which is only one trim above the base Mazda3. For a lot cheaper, might I add.

Watching this with headphones is terrible because of the wind noise. Lowering the volume, you can't hear what is being said. Raising the volume, the constant wind is the first thing you hear. Why go through all the trouble of making a decent informative video and not get a decent noise canceling mic?? Idk.

Limited on order and manufactured in Japan for Canada. Much better quality than the US.

On Crosstrek Limited trim Subaru now also added DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System (DMS) feature, which is absent on Oynx trim.

I noticed more accessories are being added as time goes on. There will be a lot of after market available like weather tech just not yet.

Yes! Very much looking forward to the sound system. Still wish it had a cd player lol but streaming or playing tunes off the phone will be great.
You mentioned apple carplay in the Limited, but it would work in the Onyx too right?
I wish that the Crosstrek Onyx Edition was available in the US. It looks really sporty in white. I love the extra black trim and the black wheels.
I think the Onyx equivalent in the States is called the Sport.

No heated seats in the premium is a rip off. Most get it by the 2nd trim for that price it is bad value.

Watching this with headphones is terrible because of the wind noise. Lowering the volume, you can't hear what is being said. Raising the volume, the constant wind is the first thing you hear. Why go through all the trouble of making a decent informative video and not get a decent noise canceling mic?? Idk.
I can hear it fine on my headphones at normal volume... Maybe try a different headset?
