I had a 2019 Honda Passport which is a nice vehicle but I’m older now ,I’m 80 , it was just too high for me getting in it and my sons kept telling me to get something smaller. We went car shopping and I ended buying a 2024 Forster and I just love it. It’s not as high and I love the way it handles, hopefully it last me as long as I continue to drive. I wanted the 2024 model that still had some knobs for the A/C instead of everything being on the screen.
For the Crosstrek, wouldn't the Wilderness be considered the top trim in that lineup? (just curious since this is how it's laid out on Subaru's website).
Don't encourage the bigger screenn... it being more "modern"... nah... more like its being more cheap :( i like my buttons vs laggy screen for AC etc etc. ...
Good review though!!!! 🙂 i just hate the only one screen for all things. Its not for me. Especially in super cold climate where it gets -20 and i want to keep my gloves on...

Good job on showing the measurements
I wish you showed some off-road behavior of both. I could have guessed by myself that the bigger car will have more head-space and bigger trunk.
Great comparision, thank you for your work.
thorough review. well done.

Sort of. It’s higher priced but it’s kind of its own thing. So I just went with the top trim of the normal lineup!
I would probaby prefer the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek in my opinion.
Which HK system sounds better in them? Im guessing the Crosstrek since its a more compact space?
The forester’s version is better because it comes with a subwoofer. The crosstreks don’t get it unfortunately.
My 2024 Crosstrek Limited does not have the Autohold icon on the main screen as the one in the video does. I would love to know how to get it there.
If you go to where the icon is and hold it down for a few seconds, it will allow you to move it around to a different screen.
@@MegaCuber123 Thanks, but I don’t have the icon. Only can be accessed from “car” functions.
@@teda273 Do a software update from the menu and it should appear.
@@juantomas748 Thanks for letting me know. The software update only just became available in my area.

I hear you for sure. Although I like bigger screens the Subaru infotainment system seems much worse on the larger display
We need xt versions of these vehicles. I’d buy a Forester xt
Crosstrek XT with the 2.4L turbo 🤤
I’d rather have a Wilderness over a Touring. But it’s close.
