Felt for you there, what a nightmare, glad you managed to sort it. I bet the beer tasted good at the end of that day

Wow, what a drama! You were really lucky getting your bike going again.
You didn't spend very long in the Picos at all? There's so much more to see. The N621 south of Potes is glorious right up to the summit at the Puerto de San Gloria at 1609m then down on the other side.
In Portugal did you ride the N103 from Braganca to Chaves to Braga then south or down through the Serra de Estrela?
Are you making a huge tour of Spain and Portugal?
So many great roads to ride.
Pamplona is where the Spanish have the bull runs. Their love of torturing bulls is what has put me off the country for decades, but having now been there in the last 5 years I realise many Spaniards also want it banned as they too think it's cruel and barbaric.
The deer or stag as it's often misnamed at the Mirador del Corzo is actually a Cantabrian Chamois a mountain goat-antelope. There are lots of them in the Picos and they are quite friendly. Certainly a fair few of them on the Ruta del Cares between Cain and Poncebos. They don't seem to have any fear of people.
Looking forward to your next episode.

We decided to leave picos early as weather report was poor, we were proved right as it rained the entire week after we went south. We did seville and Ronda in Spain and worth the extra miles

@@stevesherlockrides Yes the down side to the Picos is that the weather can be so unpredictable and variable. I guess it because of the mountains. It was the same for me when I went in early May. Basically had a week of rain. Was calculating time and cost of riding south to Valencia and south down to Almeria but by the time I would have arrived it would have stopped raining in the Picos and time to go back. And the cost of fuel and extra miles on my bike.
Seville and Ronda are both great places and well worth visiting. Granada is a great city to visit as well as well.
I loved Southern Spain when i was there Nov last year for 3 weeks. Andalusia, the mountains, the good weather, lots of sunshine and warm even so late in the year. I basically love Spain. I didn't realise quite how mountainous it is. Wish I had started going to it properly 30 years ago! Oh well.
One thing I noticed is that Spain is now a lot cheaper than France. Also the Spanish government have temporarily suspended most tolls on their motorways as they think people are struggling enough with the cost of living in Spain. No such luck in France.
Anyway ATB Steve. Great videos. I am a dead loss when it comes to filming and making videos. Pictures I can take, but they don't have the same impact as good vlogs.
