And the panic attack that your panic attack was having is gonna have a panic attack
I'm a highrise window cleaner of 25 years and there's no way I'd ever get on that bus! You guys are nuts!
Lmao hilarious and that's saying something I wouldn't do your job nor this😂
I have never trusted anyone as much as they must trust that driver.
Famous last words of the thousand of passengers that have plummeted to their death on this road and roads like it.
I grew up in the Himalayas, its quite exhilarating to be on a bus there on small roads. I now live in Canada.
The only road on the planet where NO ONE texts while they are driving!
Cutting and making that road on the mountain in the first place would"ve been to most scary task.
My uppermost respect to those construction guys👍👍

these expert Himalayan drivers r dare devil. But some aren't lucky. during monsoons these tracks become dangerous..
I have so much respect for the Driver; I would walk behind his Bus!
Actually walking is just as dangerous because of trips and falls, knees shaking uncontrollably and high winds pushing you over when you have nothing to hold on to.
I’d volunteer to walk in front to check the clearance of that bus
Bus is just fine......coz a small falling rock can be the end.....trust me.... I've been there😅

I’m still going out front buddy but with a crash helmet on then, just to be super safe. 🙂
When the driver says: "There are only eight people in the world who know how to safely navigate this road. I just wish I was one of them."

The question is… how was these roads even paved in those mountains in the first place! 😱

Unique, wonderful and a driver of great courage. Hats off to the man. Equally courageous and rare it's beautiful passengers. God bless them all.
When that man got out, and then the vehicle moved, I thought he was he the driver... then I realized this was a right-hand drive.
I prefer walking on foot than traveling in a bus.
I would walk too!. All I would need is some comfortable shoes, comfortable clothing, plenty of water and some energy bars in my back pack, and I'm be good!. I don't care how long or how far I would have to walk, at least would be one hundred times better than riding on a suicide bus.

One thing the westerners might not know is that people have no choice but to use these roads often and for some of them, it is a daily thing. I live in Himachal Pradesh, India and this road connects Killar to Kishtwar
@@gendale9992 Yes there are many incidents of cars and vehicles falling off the cliffs. Apart from that the vehicles can get carried away by the debris brought in by the landslides that can happen during the monsoon. Himalayas have a very fragile geology so construction of roads through them disrupts the structure of the mountains that leads to more natural catastrophes.
Extreme busser here! LOL!
Hand on heart I can say the laughing & giggling is ABSOLUTE TERROR!
This is the price you pay to view some of the most awesome landscapes in the world. I did overlanding (bus) in India, Nepal, China & Tibet in the late 90's & even survived a head on crash with a truck on the Tibet border where I saw the words "game over" pop up in my eyes. However the Nepalese bus drivers I consider to be the finest in the world. They are safe, precise & never take risks (Chinese bus drivers are INSANE!) The trip from Gorakhpur - Kathmandu - Pokhara is spectacular! In Europe the best bus ride is Turin to Cervinia in the Alps. So I salute ALL Neplese bus drivers & Sherpa's with so much respect. The 1 kilometer bus trip:
Never ever would I hop on a car on this road, an inadvertent dream on it would be hellish torture. If I find myself on it by coincidence, I’d totally be walking sideways on the mountain edge side. That was painful to watch.

This is how I learn how to drive in mountains of Albania . It was a very narrow road and when I was having another truck ahead coming toward me , I had sometimes to have one of the rear double tires hanging on the cliff . And it was 1000 meters cliff sometimes more .
Lol. That’s not remotely close to two thousand feet, but certainly, it’s high enough to expect a bruise. 😂
This ride is way scarier than anything at amusement parks
@@yakshxiao.b4.u100 yeah, it really is. I lived in Nepal for a few years and I was warned about those roads
Obviously.. you know there's safety systems in place in amusement parks..
Yep! ...And just knowing 63 people have died on that road is enough for me to say "No thankS!!"
Going up the road is terrifying, imagine going down. Hopefully the brakes are good.
I live in the Himalayas and the road can get very dangerous at times . Also you can have landslides and rocks suddenly falling and temperature can fall upto 5 degree Celsius . But accidents are caused mostly because people act negligently while taking pictures and accidentally falling down the cilff and private cars not being used to driving for long hours and dozing off. drivers hardly cause accidents . It's about 12 hours journey .
The plus point is , it's a literal heaven , with snow caped mountains , spiked trees, frozen lakes , the clouds spreading out beneath you . Words cant describe how amazing it is . It's breathtaking.
Thank you for your wonderful description, now I can die happy, knowing I don't have to do that trip myself !

When I was young, I enjoyed amusement rides. After travelling on roads like this around the world, I no longer enjoy fake amusements. Travel a road like this & you will die laughing ... one way or another. Nothing in the world compares to riding around the mountains of the world. One time in China, I had to travel from an airport to a shipyard. We had to traverse a mountain to get there. The female taxi driver was chatting constantly on her cell phone while shifting gears of the manual transmission. She swerved those curvy roads fearlessly. The other passengers & I simply laughed our asses off. One way or the other, all we could do was enjoy the sights and the ride. It's an experience that I heartily recommend to every adventurous soul.
Brave hearts….. Respect for the Himalaya people 🙏
