Brotherhood of steel is not the easiest way to get a T-60 set, with brotherhood of steel you have to do two missions in order to get it... With Adam cats you have to walk up talk to the vendor and purchase it. No missions necessary
My fave power armor is the T-51 Nuka Cola armor. T-51 is the cheapest to repair and it's nearly as good as the other more advanced armors.
Hellfire armor. But I only ever use power armor when I go to the glowing sea.

You missed the secret T-60 suit in far Harbor, if you get the brotherhood to attack Acadia the Brotherhood Captain armor will be on the Brotherhood knight leading the attack
When looting enemies wearing power armor. You can shoot the armor after they are dead to break it and then pick up the broken pieces to fix later and not use any carry weight.

You can find the "Enclave" Hellfire power armor by following the Echos of the Past quest, the first Enclave encounter you have will contain a foe wearing "Enclave" Hellfire armor. I honestly prefer X-O2 but I just love power armor in general.
They found me I didn't find them and got some free Armour from it that didn't make them any happier
@@mauricecrawley ahhh that's the first part of Echoes. You found the ambush. Keep following the quest. I believe by the end of it you'll have access to three or four suits of X-02, 3 or 4 Hellfire, a few heavy incinerators, a Tesla cannon and a good supply of plasma cartridges and plasma weapons. Plus a decent new clothing set called the colonel's uniform. It's a quest worth doing.
I got 6 suits of x-01 armor and 4 armor frames (so far) because of that lol

Spoilers in case anyone minds. I used stealth and pickpocket to get a bunch of enclave power armor with the frames and also cores:
I leveled my sneak to 4 stars and my pickpocket to I believe 3 stars, alongside some points into agility to raise pickpocket chances. I then got Pickman's blade as a stealth melee weapon, and a modded for damage suppressed sniper with recon scope to put a spot tag on enemies so I could watch their walking patterns to decide when to go in (or pop the non-power armor enclave soldiers heads like grapes from a distance). I would sneak up at night to the enclave power armor wearing guys at each location, and pickpocket the fusion core off of them, kicking them out of the suit. Then I either ran off if discovered, or used Pickman's blade to take them out without the rest of their team knowing where I was, or used a modded combat shotgun to kill the guy leaving the power armor and then quickly their non-power armor friends. I got SO MANY armor with the armor frames from the Echoes of the Past questline due to this, I think I got around or over 7 or 8 frames in total from this (and still more suits that I couldn't get the frames for stashed in storage), including mark 6 enclave hellfire armor (that you can just remove the enclave paint for if you don't like it) and mark 6 X02 enclave armor. Just make sure after finishing the Echoes of the Past that you pick up for information on the three other outposts, which will be miscellaneous quests instead of named quests. Each location has (besides other good loot) an X02 wearing guy, and one location had 2 for me, with one being a boss-type guy who had the mark 6 X02. Lastly, you can paint the X02 armor to a lot of other colors, like pink, orange, red, green, swamp camo pattern, desert camo pattern, etc. which makes it even better to wear and customize!
One note, if you do what I did to also get the free frames, unfortunately they will count as stolen, so if you take the fusion core out while at your base where goody two-shoes companions live like Preston or Valentine, they'll think you are stealing and it will say they disliked that (even if they aren't your active companion, and I was in my home secluded away and hidden, if they were still within a certain distance they just magically knew). If you are on PC, open console commands (~), press on the armor, and type "setownership". That will make it go from red text to green, no longer stolen. Alternatively instead of pickpocketing the core, if the power armor is strong enough you can shoot the core, which blows it up killing the guy inside without also destroying the frame (not sure if this always doesn't destroy the frame though or if I got lucky). I only saw one armor not also get destroyed doing this, it was the boss-guy with the mark 6 X02 armor at one of the misc outposts. I don't remember if that counted it as stolen or not, I only did it to mess around and was surprised to see that the armor was still standing after detonation.
There's a factory just down the hill from where Pyro is that you'll fight a faction called "The Forged" that results in getting a nice heavy version of the scorcher weapon that is part of the Enclace Remnant quset that when you get to their hideout in the glowing see will get you loads of Hellfire armor and X-02 armor (from defeated Enclave members)
BOS give t60, Far Harbor gives t50, Nuka World gives X01. Explore as much as you want. If you want the best armor for the cheapest repair cost its, t50 arm's and legs and t45 chest.

I might have missed it but did you mention the Tesla T-60 armour that you run across in the Automatron DLC quest Headhunting? +15% dam to energy weapons if all 3 pieces are equiped.
It's not a requirement to have all three pieces to gain the buff, just that they have 5% each.
I just snagged this set as I just completed the DLC. It was okay. I didn't like having a forced companion but it was okay. The tesla gun is friggn' saweeeeeet!
Quick reference. If you are looking for smaller armor sets after Level 25, you can go shopping at the Atom Cat's Garage. This is also an alternative place to get full sets of T60 armor if you don't like the Brotherhood. While this is annoying in that you will only get 1 to 2 pieces of lighter armor per visit and have to wait 3 days before trying again. Also there is no guarantee you will get the "piece" you need. Despite this, it remains a very good fall back if you found a smaller suit that is missing an arm or a leg, they even occasionally sell XO pieces. Second side note, the Nuka World and Far Harbor flavor suits (Vim and Nuka Cola skins respectively) will cap at T51 as you noted in the video, with the notable exceptions of the Future World's XO suit which will "always" be an XO suit, and the full suit found at the Nuka World Power Plant basement which will follow the traditional level progression, however is so far out of the way it will almost always be an XO suit by the time you get there.
I've never once found all the star things. I just glitch inside with another set of power armor lol
The only reason I hunt down all of the star cores is because once you plug them all in, you can actually ride the sci-fi themed roller coaster. Which is actually pretty awesome.
besids the tesla (atomitron), the horse power armor, the halloween decoration quest they added in next gen update has a tv helmet (it's on a power armor frame a helmet that looks like a tv)
You missed six of X01 power amors in the Nuka World DLC
I have a tip for carrying power armor parts that you take from a body : break each armor pieces so their weigh will be 0
After you’ll have to fix them on a power armor station with steel and aluminum (easy to find)
Just spec to craft MkV Advanced Railroad Hybrid Blaistic Weave. You can get the same level of protection if you mod all of your armor. I keep a set of power armor for the jetpacks, but going without the armor allows more stealth, which means more 2x crits.

there are 4 x01 sets, and 2 partial sets in nuka world. star command, 2 at the power plant, 1 at reptile kingdom in a shed by the rollercoaster where those nasty bugs are. partial on a military convoy, and in a garage in the town by the red rocket.
I have all the power armor sets, but I also have 100s of pieces, needing frames. Last night 3 BOS Knights showed up at the Skylines wreckage south of Ten Pines Bluff.
Two vertibirds were flying overhead. Both crashed and I scooped the gear off 4 crew members. One of the 3 knights had got out of his BOSII power armour at Skylines. I traveled back and the 3 BOS had left. The one guy forgot his power armour suit, so I was able to steal it without issue 😂
Just shoot the fusion core in VATs, it forces them out of power armor so you can yoink the frame as well.

You can buy a power armour frame in diamond city market then wait 48 hours for the store reset if you need frames.
Atom Cats carries them also.

I never use power armor but I can't help grabbing any set I can find. I just display them in my home settlement. I guess I just like to look at them.
There are 5 suits you forgot raider, also the level for them to start spawning in is incorrect a T-45 is 1, T-51 is 14, T-60 is 21, and X-01 is 28

3:30 I’ve actually only found a t-51 helmet this entire play through (I’m level 40 something now) and that was at level 38 or something while I was in Nuka World.

i do the same thing when i find power armor, guess im not alone, .. find it, fast travel back to sanctuary, plop it in the line of other suits.. then go out for more and other missions! idk why it is so satifying, even though i dont use them as much now as i did a few weeks ago when i started playing. I am sure it gets harder and you will need em a bit more though as the game goes on. But that tesla cannon sure makes this game a ton easier 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good list. You forgot the one on the barge by Croup Manor. There are a few partial sets that you can get also. Just south of Tenpines at the wrecked train and in between Olivia and the Salvage yard at the wrecked vertibird. Also just north of Lexington on the rr tracks is a partial suit of PA.

4:14 you can just steal the power core out of a knights armor, and then steal the parts out of a chassis. (Knights can be dropped off by vertibirds around the map)

You can also get the Nuka world armor with a password found on the roof if you don’t have enough terminal hack skill or Nick Valentine
Theres a guarantee set of full T-60 armour on one of the highways near concord but I've came across a bit of a crash bug near there so be careful if you go to get it
is about a dozen more spawn places but those usually not always full suits.
You can also steal any power armour from npc by pickpocket the fusion core and they will get out of it
My favorite is Hellfire Power Armor. I first saw it in 3 after getting the GOTY Edition and I fell in love with it. The X series is my all aroubd favorite because of the bug eye looking eyes that serve as tge lights.
Fr, that first set I got from the beginning enclave mission really surprised me. Got a full mk 6 set and I wade through enemies. Almost feels unfair😂
I fell in love way back in FO2. Then I found a set of Mark 2. It's changed quite a bit but I still like to rock it.
Fortunately the Atom Cats can often sell you any pieces you are missing.
I got x-01 at around level 12 from the envlave mission echoes from the past
At lvl 25 the XO-1 armor guarded by the 2 robots ended up being T-60b for me
That's because it spawns after level 28

Yeah, you have to make it during a quest to get out of it. I almost missed it bc I found another way to get out...
Some tips : if you don't mind spending caps for PA Frame, you can farm the armor parts from the PA that spawn fixed in certain area that inhabited by some enemies like Raiders. I usually going stealth, but the point is messed up with them, they (maybe their leader) will going into PA wearing it, defeat them all and loot the PA parts. Next time when they respawn and reset, the PA parts will be refreshed again

If enemies are in the armor, and you can manage it, sneak up on them and pickpocket the fusion core. It forces them out, so yeah can steal the frame as well.
I only found 3 full T51 power armors in my playthrough. This explains why. Shame because it's my favorite type. At least I did find some.
I got an Ironman set going, 2 floors of a house now in Scanturay with 10 per wall and 3 in the center. Hit up Gunner gangs again and again for none raider versions.
I'm intrested in seeing as you didn't mention the fire proof raider armor boots just how many parts for raider armor there are I'd love a set with legendary perks so far we got the chest peice and the boots that I know of
Off topic completely Ik, but since Bethesda are taking an interest again, I really want to see a return of the securitrons, a nightkin skin for strong, the traditional armoured vault suit and editable vault numbers (maybe through number patches that we can find in game 😍)

If thats the bunker near Sunshine Tidings, you won't get Raider armor. There's a bug where raider armor that gets dropped turns into T-51 armor when you pick it up. Unless the update fixed that bug... It is a way to farm T-51 parts early game though I suppose?

Honestly power armor is pretty prevalent in Fallout 4, at the National Guard training yard there are three sets of it within about a 15-second radius of each other

just gonna say this, some power armor frames come with locked in gear levels, as in you are guarenteed to get the t45 from the main story, the t-51 is guarenteed in the ship cage on floating dock north near the uss constitution.......and you are guarenteed t-60 in brother hood and from killing brother hood power armored enemies

you can duplicate items that are classified as junk by opening your building menu and hobering over the dropped item hold scrap amd store at the same time then release scrap and then click store before the first prompt shows up then store and scrap the item to duplicate said item. have fun :) ive gotten my carry weight up over 10 k with gold

I’ve started a new game I’m level 34 and I’ve found rusty T-51 power armour and a few minutes later I found two X01’s at the army base so I guess sometimes it can be random and not level oriented
Could’ve seen the t-51 at a lower level so it stayed that level when you found it later

My brother downloaded a mod that adds the enclave and I killed a legendary enclave man and I took his X-O2 power armor pieces and took all the T-45 power armor off the power armor and replaced it with the X-O2 power armor

I went to the T-51 spot and it spawned T-45 😭 (Im level 21 and am almost 100% sure i havent been in the area before)
Just want to say other ways of getting the basic power armor sets minus the Unique and legendary ones.
You likely need to find a the "Hellcat" base (not sure if i remember their name .)
Method of finding their RedRocket base to be marked on the map is to be wearing power armor which will increase in your random encounter chances while travel on the road to the close by city which you take traveling past the outdoor car movie theater, anyway they encounter for me most likely happens around past the railroad where you then look to your right to see a big sign and under that area would be some car junks and refrigerators which at early game time while wearing the power armor you may trigger the random encounter to see a person wearing a black with read flames T-60 power armor looking through scraps which you can talk with and if you talk with him saying the right positive words and he will marked on your map where to get yourself the power armor upgrades and power armor parts you want on your map.
Anyway they are groove bunch that wear and sell power armor which is likely the best place to get yourself any power armor including the T-60d early in game.
To add they also sell X-01 power armor parts so it's a good spot to get that power armor parts if you somehow messed up in your power armor collection run.
Just keep in mind they will not sell Unique or legendary power armor as that kind you have to find on your own but they will sell you just about every other power armor to help complete your collection.

T-60 easiest is Atom Cats. BoS is #2. However BoS give you Vertibird access so since I'm going there anyway...

I got the strongest set just by the echoes of past quest, clash of the titans shit happend throughout most of it but i remained strong and Victorious and i found the new railgun or the tesla cannon is the more accurate name.
The set is "enclave hellfire mk.VI" armor stat 1,895 and energy armor Stat 1,510.

X-01 does not start spawning until level 31. I know, because I went to 35 Court at level 30 and it was T60, even after I got in to check.

Yeah, over exploring locks in certain regions. So power armor and max level of mobs can be too long in later areas. Had fun but kind of accidentally ruined the latter half of the game cause I liked exploring so much.
